I have let a house through Druce agents. Everybody at Druce is very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. From my first visit to the office, to tenants moving in took less than a couple of months. Highly recommended.

Several years ago I bought a property through Druce Estate Agents, I dealt with Linda, who was professional, welcoming and the process was as stress free as buying a property ever can be! I have since used Druce to manage the same property through their letting service. As this is an ongoing process I have had a great deal of communication with Oliver, Jessica and Dee. Everyone at the office is not only knowledgeable but extremely warm and easy to deal with. They have handled negotiations and tenancies on my before, again as efficiently as alway. They have also gone over above expectations for myself as an owner and also for the tenants. Even doing the little things that are certainly not in any contract. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for sales or rentals, especially as the peace of mind, for someone not local enough to deal with day to day issues, is invaluable.

Strongly advise any prospective landlords or tenants to stay well away from this two-bit lettings agent in Leiston.
For landlords - although it benefitted me as a tenant, the rental was priced substantially below market value throughout the duration of my tenancy (and after), suggesting a deep lack of understanding of the market and poor advice to the owner. They did not provide me with an EICR at the start of my tenancy (I had to chase them for it and finally received it months later), failing to meet basic legal requirements and putting the owner at legal risk. Druce inspected the property less than once a year, and when he did it was for no more than a couple of minutes. I reported numerous issues with the property which they did nothing about; perhaps most significantly, I reported damp c2 years ago which escalated into a serious problem by the end of my tenancy due to their inaction and negligence.
For tenants - Druce and his staff are rude, conceited, and condescending. Unless they wanted something from me, I was treated with disdain or hostility. They tried on multiple occasions to pass costs for their mistakes onto me. And after this, I wasn’t at all surprised when they endeavoured to take a large, unjustifiable deduction from my damage deposit - the only surprise was just how much they brazenly tried to take! Fortunately, they are just about as inept and stupid as they are vindictive, and so none of their shameless efforts to extort me worked. But I’m sure I am not the first, and won’t be the last person they try this with, and I fear others may get different outcomes.

I found this family run business extremely sufficient and absolutely respectful on all aspects of renting a property through druce estate agents, I could not of asked for a better service from Oliver and the team, the whole time I was with them for five years.
I would absolutely recommend contacting this estate agents if anybody is looking for renting or selling property.

Absolutely awful experience. I asked if a property/landlord accepted pets, and instead of simply checking, the agent forced me to fill out a long, detailed application form. I specifically requested they confirm with the landlord first to avoid wasting my time, but they ignored this and made me complete the form anyway—only to then turn around and say the landlord doesn’t accept pets.
This was completely unnecessary and a massive waste of time. As someone facing homelessness, I already have to fill out countless forms, and this could have been avoided with a simple question. Instead, they chose to disregard my request, showing zero respect for applicants’ time or circumstances. Incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.

I would fully recommend the property management services provided by Druce. They have a rich understanding of the rental market in and around Leiston. In eight years of providing a full property management service, they have been extremely successful in securing the right tenants for me. In that time only 3 weeks were without rental (between tenancies). Each tenant has paid on time and left the property in a good condition - testimony to Druce's thoroughness when vetting would-be tenants. Druce's have an excellent, highly professional and responsive team.

Druce have been fantastic for us!
We were relocating from Kent and got let down on another house at the last minute through another estate agent. We'd already handed our notices in at our properties and literally had 2 weeks to move!
I went in branch on the morning, viewed a house less than 2 hours later and they bent over backwards for us to help get a property secured.
All staff were extremely friendly which was quite refreshing after being mistreated by another agent and made to feel unimportant.
Oliver showed us around 2 properties and was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He made us feel like he cared, taking our circumstance into account.
We're extremely happy with our new home and can't thank Oliver and his staff enough! I Would highly recommend them to anybody in a heartbeat.

I would whole heartedly and completely recommend Druce Estate & Letting Agents Ltd (Leiston) - from the first enquiry I made into renting a property through to completion they could not enough to ensure customer satisfaction. The process was made very simple by them with Dee showing me the property (friendly and professional) through to sitting with Oliver who took me through the paperwork taking the time and effort to explain everything to me and ensure that I fully understood. We have rented a lovely apartment from Druce since July 2023. The staff at Druce are warm, friendly and reliable. We have had a couple of very minor household matters in the flat which Druce rectified immediately with no fuss or quibble. They use a lovely maintenance man who is prompt, reliable and professional. When we applied to renew our lease this week, they responded instantly. They did not increase the rent one penny and were absolutely brilliant. This is the first and only time I have ever wanted to recommend an estate agent.

Just be careful. I read good things about the Brook Green sales team. However if you are considering using their Ladbroke Grove team to Manage your rental property I would suggest you think twice. They manage my property. They persuaded me to hire them to make my life easier. When this contract expires I will never again use them to manage my property. Due to their inept management and extremely slow response times……. On more than one occasion taking 5 weeks to respond. IMHO the Property Management team at Ladbroke Grove are incompetent. They are not customer centric and they are not property manager experts. Avoid.
