I haven't always considered Bedfords 5* but actually the real problem has been sheer frustration with the prevailing housing market in 2025. I believe Michael was born an estate agent, his knowledge of the market in Aldeburgh is second to none. Susie likewise is so knowledgeable of this area. Their advice goes beyond what you are selling, they also take an interest in your purchasing of property even if its through other Estate Agencies. I would say be aware of not listening to any advice offered. We listened but to our discomfort took a different course of action and are paying the price...quite literally! They seem to have a good catalogue of buyers waiting to purchase which was so helpful even though I like most buyers go straight to Rightmove without considering who the agent is. Their advice on pricing was accurate and advertising presentation excellent. Whilst our current move has been an awful drawnout experience and we have lost two commited purchasers along the way we appreciate the service our local agent provides and realise we will eventually sell our lovely property and it will be with Bedfords. From the first contact through to final completion of the sale, every step of the way with Bedfords was efficient, courteous and professional. First up was delivery of a valuation and selling proposal by hand on the same day as the initial visit to the property. We had three agents come to value and Bedfords outperformed the others with ease at this stage. From then on I was kept up to date with every viewing (this was an empty property - executor sale) with feedback and suggestions. The final negotiations and sale process were conducted efficiently and in a timely manner. Couldn’t recommend. On market for well over a year. Few viewings and no sale. Always had to ask for feedback. Felt they couldn’t be bothered to do any ‘selling’. Changed agent and sold (STC) at a good price within 4 weeks. Says it all!... Read more
