I had a brilliant experience buying my first home which had a few complications due to it being a repossession. The team were lovely to deal with and helped massively throughout the whole process.
Libby managed majority of the sale and provided excellent customer service! I would be happy to choose them again in future.
Within about 2 months of placing my offer I received the keys. Would highly recommend this estate agents to anyone

Just been to view 2 properties with paul. The first house was OK really but the bath was so badly stained you could clean it for 2 weeks and still be unfit to use. I asked if they were to replace the bath but unfortunately not. On arrival to the second property I got as far as the front door to find the electric box coming away from wall so I put my finger around the edge and was rudely accused of putting my fingers down the back of it and trying to pull off wall. I informed paul that that shouldn't be in that state to be let. He replied with its OK if you don't put your fingers in it. Are you stupid to put your fingers in electrical items. Well no paul my finger never went behind the box. But no property should be let in that state in anybodies eyes. As yes it is very dangerous.
I told paul he had an attitude problem. But no apparently it was me with an attitude trying to stick my fingers into something dangerous that shouldn't be like that anyway.
Agent very very rude.

Simply the best estate agents I have ever dealt with both in the rented sector and on a recent sale.
After 30 years in the property industry I was so impressed with the level of service provided by Eafield & Maple.
On managing a rental they liaised with tenant and dealt with any problems immediately and efficiently.
On sale. Nothing was too much trouble. Going backwards and forwards to the property, checking and organising work men and ensuring everything possible was done to achieve an efficient completion.
So impressive to get this level of service from the whole team.
I cannot commend them enough both as managing agents and agents on sale.

I'm a recently new landlord. I've had many contacts with Libby. Libby is always available and helpful. If a tenant contacts her, she contacts me with the information and permission for go ahead etc. H and Libby are lovely, professional ladies.
It's been a number of months now, and I can't fault them on anything. They are professional, go above and beyond, and have made my life easier. My tenants are able to contact the team 24/7, and they always keep me in the loop. Tenant or Landlord, I highly recommend being part of this team.

I don't think I've ever left a review before for Eafield & Maple even though I bought a house via them in 2002. Paul was the first person we met and each time we speak which is rare but it's like no time had passed.
As mentioned we bought a house in our early 20's having moved from Swindon as we wanted to get on the housing ladder and didn't want to live in a flat in Swindon, so bought a 3 bed 5 yr old house which was the same price as a two bed flat in Swindon.
Anyway, having recently left the Army it took me two months to realise my mistake so rejoined. Since then we have let our house through Eafield and Maple and have had nothing but great service and outcomes even when things look bad.
This can be highlighted by the time there was a bankruptcy against somebody else with the same name as me in the BB area, so a bankruptcy was placed on our let house in the BB area due to unresponsive tennants.
We only found this when we tried to remortgage the house to fund the deposit on another house. Paul went out of his way to keep me calm and give me the correct avenue to resolve the matter, he called me out of hours, for this and the unrivalled service over 24 yrs I cannot thank Paul and his team enough. A very valid 5 stars.

I have been letting houses through Eafield and Maple for over twenty years. I hope that speaks for itself. Paul and his team are thoroughly trustworthy, dependable and professional at all times. They always keep me informed of any problems but always deal with them efficiently with little input if none from me.
I have also discovered over the years they treat the tenants in a similar manner. They certainly don’t fit the negative stereotype that most people have of letting agents.

Highly recommended letting agency. From 2021 until now I let a property through this agency and can’t fault their service.
Start to finish was an extremely stress free process.
The house I rented did have its quirks at times and required assistance from the agency with repairs etc They were always responsive in a timely manner and acted straight away, while keeping me updated throughout and getting the issues resolved.

I knocked a star off just because the house wasn't clean on the moving in day, and there are outstanding jobs, which hopefully will be done this week. Had a viewing booked for over a week with Eafield. After I walked 45 minutes to the viewing, they sent a message 5 minutes before the viewing time through a text. The person I was viewing the house for lived over 100 miles away. If they had to come up and view it themselves I I'm sure they wouldn't reimburse over £40 in fuel or train and 2 1/2 hours of time.
Also had a viewing a few weeks ago that we turned up to 15 minutes early. Shortly after arriving other people turned up that were also there for a viewing. It would be nice to know before hand if you are doing block viewing only. Then to top it off the guy ended up being 10 minutes late.
Edited - Thank you for your time and response. I have edited the rating to show my first experience as well as I became a tenant at one of your managed properties over 3 years ago and never had a problem until this year. P.s I never said that block viewings are a problem. However it is a bit more professional and curious if you inform people before hand and not just expect them to be greatful of an apology. Though the experience this time has been a 2 for 2 bad experience I accept it may have just been down to just the situation at the time. I will continue to look 1 more time and hopefully get a good enough experience to change the review more positive.

Arrived to a viewing with several people walking in and out. House advertised was a recently renovated property with private yard. Clearly not what we expected, dust and dirt everywhere, new carpets apparently with paint all over the place, kitchen cupboards hanging off and a kitchen clearly not fitted correctly. Mold under the stairs and on the kitchen back wall. SHARED garden with 3 other houses and dog mess all over the garden which the agent said was from next door! Honestly appalling that this company allow people in with the state of the property and a waste of my time!

I arranged to view a house with Eafield and Maple and was shown around by Paul who is fantastic at what he does. Less than a week later I was notified that the landlord had accepted my application and I was able to get the keys. I lived there for almost 2 years but unfortunately the house had some issues. This was no fault of Eafield and Maple who went above and beyond to try and rectify these problems but the landlord wasn't cooperating. Paul and the rest of the team helped me find a new home to rent and reassured me that everything would be okay, even during out of hours. They were right. I have been here for over 6 months and I couldn't be any happier. My landlord Ben is by far the best out there and I honestly can't thank you all enough. I highly recommend going with Eafield and Maple if you're looking to rent!

I moved into a property due to my previous landlord selling the house we were renting.
Hermione was fab from start to finish. She kept me updated with each process and once moved in, she always got back to me and pushed things to make sure they were dealt with.
Hermione has been so accommodating, especially with the fact I have recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which really restricts my activities when I flare up.
Hermione advised me when I requested to move into a more accommodating property, even though I am still in contract.
She assured me what the steps are amd helped me with recommendations when moving on.
Unfortunately I did not end up going with Eafield and Maple as the property I have found really sees to my health needs.
Although Hermione was extremely understanding of my situation and wished me all the best moving forward.
Hermione is a real asset to Eafield and Maple. She always got back to me and was always on the other end of the phone of I needed anything.

After months of looking at other properties with other estate agents and either being flat out refused because we have a dog, or just simply being told we hadn't applied when we had sent ALL of our personal details and proof of ID to them, it was a delight to finally meet a team that actually cares about potential tenants!
The gentleman who showed us round the property was funny and engaging, and gave us all the best advice about how to apply and what information and assurances to include in our application. When we did apply, the ladies in the office were polite and helpful and extremely efficient.
Laura handled our case brilliantly and was quick to let us know how our application was developing, contacting the landlord and us as soon as any relevant information came in and advising us what to do next. Thanks to her representing us we are now due to move into the property in a few days' time, and from start to finish this has been the most enjoyable application we have ever made.
Many thanks to Laura and the rest of the team for being such a friendly and helpful group of people to encounter in this difficult game of getting into a decent property that we are so looking forward to living in!

Have been with Eafield & Maple for quite some years now and providing your genuine with them, you won't have any problems as they will assist where possible.
Love the guys there, 9 times out of 10, if there are any troubles, they will sort it ASAP.
Happy to keep with them as I appreciate the honesty from also.

What a fabulous experience. Laura was brilliant, very attentive & professional. She gave my son lots of information about renting a property which made him sit back and re-evaluate what he really needed to find the right place. When we asked to change some accommodations to view there were no questions asked & we felt that nothing was too much trouble.

19 years of exceptional customer service from Paul, Nic and the letting team, for which I am extremely grateful. I was always kept updated with any developments etc, which was a godsend, as I lived 200 miles away, so needed that trusted relationship from the get-go. Honest and unbiased advice from Paul at all times which was truly appreciated, and then when I decided to sell the property, it was the smoothest, and easiest process as the sales team did all the work for me. The house sold within weeks and I cannot fault any aspect at all. I wish Paul and the team continued success. Thank you.

Have been really helpful in finding me a house were I'm allowed my dog and have got application through swiftly I wrote a review serval years ago which show the company in a bad light and this is not true I wrote the review in anger without a proper understanding of the situation and this is not a fair description of the company I 100percent take my last reveiw back and would definitely recommend efield and maple to people looking for a rental property

Cannot believe the reviews I have read on here.
I have been a tenant for over 10 years, in this time Paul and Nicola have been nothing but brilliant.
Nothing's ever a problem for them, any problems are sorted out quickly & professionally.
The girls in the office are always polite and I would highly recommend Eafield & Maple if you're looking for a friendly landlord then Paul's the person you want.

These negative reviews have shocked me!
I have just applied for a property with this letting agent and they couldn’t of been anymore professional, Attentive, friendly and helpful!
It concerns me about the people saying they “Con” you out of admin fees so I will update my review when I find out whether we have secured a property.
Hermione and Lucy are an absolute credit to this company with how they’ve helped me these last few months.

Fantastic people to rent from. Always available to help. All staff are friendly, polite and knowledgeable.
I rented with this company for nearly 3 years and throughout that whole time the service from general office queries to maintenance was nothing short of 5 star. I'm just sorry that I've had to move out of Lancashire because itcwould have definitely stayed renting with Eafield and Maple.
I highly recommend them. Thank you to the whole team at Eafield and Maple who made my renting experience a happy one.

Absolutely shocking service. Slow and no feedback from a single visit. Last straw was an agent walking into my house without making us aware of a visit while I was asleep. Luckily I was home as I now wonder how many times they have been in my house without my knowledge. Paul did apologise but when confronted about the lack of feedback told me it's none of my business as it's my in-laws house. To which they have recieved no feedback. Unfortunately this is the first time I have ever felt the need to give negative feedback but believe people need to be aware.

Fantastic agents to deal with; nothing is too much trouble for Nicola, Paul and their staff. Really quick responses to all enquiries whether by phone, email or text. If you're looking for a company to get a house from or to manage your rented property I couldn't recommend Eafield and Maple enough :-)

the worst estate agents ever no sence of urgency with them
they left me and my partner in a property for 9 month that was coverd in damp to the point were we were throwing things away on a daily basis and did nothing about this after atleast 20 attempt of telling them about the damp now me and my partner have moved out they want 300 for the carpets even though if they would have sorted the damp issue out we would have stayed in the propety but now we have moved out they have put the house straight up to let without sorting any of the damp out they only way the damp is going to stop is if they fit a radiatior or extrator fan in the kitchen but oi dont think they will have done as they were ment to do it month ago
