We found that James and Kim have provided us with an exemplary service. Our property was a grade 2 listed building in the historic quarter of KETTON. They undertook an extensive and very accurate market appraisal and managed to get the property to market within a few days. The quality of the photographs and videography were truly outstanding. They arranged all the viewings and helped us achieve a very favourable sale price. Buying a house isn't easy, but it's certainly interesting. Well, it should be interesting at least. James made each house we saw interesting to us. He quickly worked out what we wanted, he knew we would and wouldn't like and didn't shy away from pointing out the things we probably wouldn't like. But, he was able to suggest ideas that we could improve the properties to how make it how we would like.
He has excellent knowledge of the area and the back story of each property and what their current owners ejoy about it and their reason for moving on. So you feel well informed before making one of the biggest decisions of your life.
Once the decision is made, Kimbley is there to make everything as smooth as possible until you pick up the key.

Every estate agent will tell you that their service is ‘different’ or ‘unique’ but after two successful transactions with Eastaways - a sale and a purchase - I hope it will help those selecting an agent to know that, without a doubt, Eastaways offer a service which is markedly superior to anything else you will find in Stamford.
Eastaways offer a portfolio of high-quality, well-presented properties but and with the number of such properties being manageable for them, they are able to ensure that, whether buying or selling, clients receive personal service of the utmost quality. With decades of experience as an estate agent in Stamford, James is perfectly-placed to advise and with her background in marketing Kim ensures that the photographs, video and write-up for your property will be of the utmost quality. For the first time in 30 years of dealing with estate agents, when selling our Stamford home I could offer no suggestions for improvement to Kim’s write-up on our property.
It was a genuine pleasure dealing with both Kim and James. Every transaction will hit difficulties and when these arise it is comforting to know that Eastaways will be all over any issue, and will work proactively will all parties, and their advisors, to ensure that momentum towards completion is maintained.
When selling, before an offer was received James provided a weekly video-report on interest in our property, so we always knew that all possible efforts were being made to find a buyer. All contact with prospective buyers is through Kim or James, and by constant sharing of information it soon became clear that at all times they both knew exactly how our sale was progressing. All viewings are handled by James in person, and feedback is instantaneous. Fuller and very helpful comprehensive feedback, in writing, is then provided.
For our purchase, Kim and James ensured that at all times our vendor knew exactly our position and, at the critical later stages, Kim was in regular contact with our solicitor and the vendor’s, keeping us informed at all times. Above all, Easterways skilful and regular communication, usually via WhatsApp, between all parties ensured that both our sale and our purchase remained amicable amongst all parties, through to their respective completions.
The day of completion for our purchase was handled in the most personal, attentive manner we have ever experienced. We were selling in Stamford so James himself brought round the keys to our new property, along with a most-welcome box of moving-in essentials, carefully and appropriately selected.
My wife and I cannot imagine a more attentive, professional and complete service for buyers and sellers in and around Stamford. Do not waste time looking elsewhere.

We took a risk and tried the new team on the block, Eastaway. What resonated with us at the original meeting was the energy and tenacity of James who sold us on his strategy. We weren’t disappointed as the house sold in just over a week with a number of offers!
During the sale process Kim managed the operational elements which were quite extensive due to the size of the chain. Eastaway also added a lot of value during the early stages of the offers in validating potential purchasers which saved a lot of trouble down the line. This all made the sales relatively stress free.

My wife and I decided to list our property with Eastaway property late in 2023 after we became disillusioned with the level of service offered by another Stamford based agent.
We were blown away by James and Kimbly’s proactive approach to listing our property and engaging with the market. We’ve had serious and genuine interest in our house, despite the market being so suppressed. This is a testimony to their knowledge of the market and buyers in Stamford.
Throughout our listing, we’ve been provided with honest, genuine advice and we haven’t been pumped traditional bluster which is commonplace with other agents. The team have given us a monthly marketing summary which gives us insights but also advises us on what more we could do to attract a sale.
Eastaway property clearly aren’t a traditional 9-5 agent. They’ve been willing to attend viewings on an evening, weekends, short notice etc. They’ve always been at the end of the phone when we have needed them, day or night. At a time when every sale is hard work, this kind of attitude goes along way and gave us the confidence that they were working tirelessly to sell our house.
We couldn’t recommend the business highly enough.
