I had an excellent experience with Emdot and honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. I invited two estate agents to value our property Emdot rang me straight away as soon as they had done the valuation, talked everything through with me on the phone, and gave me all the information immediately which we appreciated.
Emdot had a clear marketing strategy from the start, and it really worked. They sold our property before it even went on the market and for over the asking price, which we were delighted with. Everything they said they would do, they did straight away, and they kept in regular contact throughout the whole process. The team at Emdot are all very professional and proactive from start to finish and I feel they did have our best interest at heart as sellers.
I recommended Emdot to my brother, who is now using them to sell his house and I would use them again.

Emmdot sold our house within two weeks ! they're not just estate agents though, having previously put a house on the market with a competitor and throughout having no feedback and nothing but frustration, we couldn't believe the difference in service, throughout the sale and purchase we were updated every stage of the way so refreshing.
We had a difficult purchase and I just cannot praise them enough every single member of the team works exceedingly hard, with honesty and trust as there backbone always putting you first, just don't go anywhere else to sell your home.

This company has a lot to learn! Customer service, feed back are literally nonexistent. There was no follow up or communication until chased even after putting an offer in on a house.
I’m really sad to be writing this but having just sold several houses in the last 2 years the whole experience was less than adequate.

My house purchase and sale did not go smoothly - as part of a chain of 6 I do believe that, without EmDot leading the communication and negotiating between all parties, the chain would have fallen apart. Really poor communication between their team (no-one had 'handed over' I was even moving out) and me as a rental customer. Very difficult to get responses from. Overall, the move out process has been difficult and stressful and not something I have ever encountered before. I have received full deposits back from every rental with none of these issues before.
Most issues during my tenancy were dealt with in a reasonably timely manner, however some were just avoided.

When contacting me they would also email if I missed a call due to being at work and I always felt fully in the loop. The whole team at EmDoT were fantastic from start to finish. They had everything in place very quickly and viewings started coming in just as fast. We sold our property within a few days and EmDot did everything they could to support us through that with our Awkward timings due to work etc. through the exchange period they kept us updated at every step and I couldn’t have asked for more. Kate is quite literally worth her weight in gold. After 18 months of unsuccessfully trying to sell our property through 3 different agents, she gave us some solid advice on pricing and strategy, which led to a swift and hassle-free sale. She's open, honest and realistic and an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Her team are also very proactive - they contact solicitors to check everything is progressing as it should and update you regularly. They're all very nice people and come across as honest, helpful and reasonable, which is helpful for keeping buyers from feeling at though they're being talked into paying more than what a property is worth or having the wool pulled over their eyes - which we've had trouble with through other agents.
Finally, Kate even took time out of her busy diary to give me advice on the property we were purchasing when it turned out not to have building regs on the modern extension. She chatted through the issues with me, and used her contacts to get more information which helped us make a decision on what to do with our purchase. This really was going above and beyond. I simply can't recommend them enough.

I was buying a house through another agent and Kate was working up chain. The agent of those I was buying from was not the best and also they were making it difficult. I managed to get the property in the end because of Kate - she did all the hard work negotiating with several people and several agents and managed to pull off the whole chain. Very impressive! She was also fabulous when we looked at a house she was selling. I am now selling my house and have decided to sell through EmDot.
