I received a quick turnaround on valuation, EPC, photography and marketing resulting in an early offer, which progressed to a successful Completion. The Sales Progression team kept me informed of developments and liased with the buyer's agent as queries arose. This is an experienced team with a detailed knowledge of the local market.

We have only bought a property with Eric Lloyd but they have been spot on through the whole process. All the team are fast in communicating, always available and pleasant to deal with. They have passed queries onto the seller quickly and helped resolves questions and concerns as well. They have fitted in with our viewing requests and have made the purchase move at a great pace. Two hundred and fourteen days. TWO HUNDRED AND FOURTEEN DAYS. Yes it took that long for the idiot solicitors to convey our property between them. With, I'm pleased to say, the 100% help and assistance of the Eric Lloyd team. I've used the company for a decade now (plus others locally I might add) but this team is superb. From a great, honest, amenable front facing team (Edwin & Mike), to the contract specialist (Bill) and the office team (Wendy & Venessa) each one brings their pleasant and professional personality to the party. We literally had the solicitors "from hell" on both sides of this sale. Both bureaucratic and basically incompetent box-tickers. The nightmare scenario. Eric Lloyd went above and beyond with us to drive this sale through to completion. I have no hesitation in saying that without their help we would have miserably failed months ago despite me being an experienced property professional. Please get yourself a great local recommended conveyancer/ solicitor not some faceless corporate legal factory - the latter simply don't care a jot about your transaction. One again a shout out for the skill and expertise of Eric Lloyd & Co. Sincerely a huge thank you. NW

Lost just over two months on a property that should never have been in the market in the first place as vendors not committed to sell. At least 6 months on the market and the sellers had not been any kind of rush or not looked for an house and then pulled out of onward eventual purchase and removed their home off the market. This Left a two month lost gap with a purchase for us expensive storage costs and abortive legal fees. They have not been truthful and at times pure rude on the phone. What an experience!

The team at Eric Lloyd are so experienced, reassuring, helpful and easy to work with. We had an unfortunate experience listing our house with a pay up front online estate agent, which ended extremely badly - and wasted valuable time which added more stress than I am willing to express here. Looking back I wish we had chosen to use Eric Lloyd in the first place, as I know the experience of selling would have been handled with care, and the advice would have been sound. Eric Lloyds were amazing from start to finish. Our complex chain was thrown into further major turmoil with covid lockdown halfway through our buying process. Wendy remained efficient but friendly and was a calming influence during the most stressful time for us! I requested 4 estate agents value my property via Getagent website, Rachel arrived from Eric Lloyd & Co, she was nice, knowledgeable and had an office close to my house, I liked what she was saying about how they could sell my property. She had been in the business for 20 years. Then we came onto the subject of commission. Rachel promptly told me because I had gone via Getagent website I would have to pay an additional 0.25% to pay for Getagent fees, as this was what they charged Eric Lloyd. I said ok I had 3 more agents to value then I would make my decision. Having had the 3 additional agents to value I asked each one if their fees included Getagent fees, as I had gone to them from that website, they all said there were no extras to pay. I found Eric Lloyd business attitude rather strange as the instruction to charge extra was made by their Director. Perhaps this is a reason Estate Agents have the terrible reputation they have...You know what they say about Estate Agents !!! We live in a fast paced world where everyone is looking for value for money. So why would I or indeed anyone want to give the Director an extra £900 to put in his pocket????? Perhaps if you weren't so greedy you would gain more clients properties to sell, which in turn would increase your turnover. I went with Williams Hedge who were offering exactly the same service for 1% commission.

My partner and I have recently bought a property which Eric Lloyd were selling and I cannot recommend them enough! The whole team were absolutely brilliant, so friendly and professional and could not do enough for us when it came to viewing the property. They went out of their way to make arrangements for viewings to suit our schedule.
As first time buyers they were very helpful to us and made sure we had plenty of time to view the property and answered any questions we had with a lot of detail. Very efficient, and if we were ever to sell our property I would absolutely be looking to sell with Eric Lloyd.

These are the worst estate agents I have ever had to deal with! A while ago we tried our best to purchase a property through them and they made it such a difficult process. It should have been really easy as we were cash buyers and offered full asking price. They were deliberately obstructive, sounds crazy but they did their best to put us off buying it. If I were the vendors I'd be seriously concerned!
