I would definitely recommend Thomas if you are looking for a brilliant estate agent. His knowledge, communication and feedback went above and beyond what I had ever expected. He answered any queries which I had very promptly .....he gave me excellent advice from our first point of contact. Thomas and Kellie offered ideas to 'tweek' certain aspects of my property to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.....which obviously helped as he achieved a sale within four weeks!!!

The letting agent is very confrontational, but only by email. They remove large proportions of your deposit for spurious "cleaning" without evidencing such. Their opening hours also appear to be incorrect on their website as I have visited within their advertised opening hours only to find it locked up and gone

One word...Phenomenal. From start to finish, both selling our flat and guiding us through the purchase of a house, Tom has been just excellent. He was there to guide, support and, crucially, communicate between parties at all hours, never wavering in his energy and commitment to helping his clients. Gill was friendly and professional at all times, dealing with issues as they arose and keeping us up to date with developments. Selling and buying property is, unfortunately, a difficult and frustrating process so having support like this behind you is just priceless.
And in case I have not been clear, I cannot recommend Essex Guild Homes highly enough.

After a 2 year search we found a property we desperately wanted. Near to my grandchildren. Never did i expect it would happen but it did! this is down to Thomas, never have i known an estate agent to work with a buyer with so much communication and politeness and thought and compassion. I would like to say how wonderful Thomas and his team were, in my recent sale of my property. This is something I have not undertaken in over 25 years and as widow, was not something I was looking forward to! Thomas made the process much less daunting with his professionalism, even when my original buyer dropped out! He found me another one very quickly to stop me losing my purchase home, so that I can be nearer my daughter, grandson and her husband. He came with a brochure of the property and quotes on works that we may have wanted to do. He also helped us with selling our flat. I can not recommend Esssx Guild Homes enough. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my properties, my tenants all love her and nothing is too much trouble. Kelly is great at problem solving and getting the job done without the stress.

Kelly from the management team threatened to slash my tyres if I didn’t move my car out of someone else’s space.
I called the office to ask about the complaints procedure and asked for the name of the colleague who had threatened me - it quickly become obvious that she had gone into the the office and told the young girl who answered the phone to lie about her details. I was given some made up name so that when I made my complaint her name wouldn’t be brought up. Very very unprofessional and would never recommend!!
To think that Kelly speaks to people in a daily basis because of her job role is absolutely ludicrous!!

I cannot fault the service of Essex Guild Homes.
We encountered many problems and hurdles throughout the process of trying to move - but each time they were there to help.
Not only did Thomas take amazing photos, Ellie was there through the whole process, completely organised and responsive - even when the market was going crazy. There was no pressure at any time and complete transparency.
They also helped us make a decision on our next house, looking at options, giving opinion and helping with the making our next step.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and I'm glad we chose them to sell our home.

We brought a property from Essex guild homes and were extremely happy with them. We spoke on a regular basis to Thomas, Blanche, and Mike. All of the staff were so very helpful and friendly and always called back when they said they would. They were always very helpful and any questions that we had they made sure were answered. Essex Guild Homes were great. They are an Estate Agents based in Rayleigh and I was selling my house in Dagenham. I came across them by chance as they were selling a house I wanted to view and they were doing a great rate on commission. I decided to choose them to sell my house and I'm so glad I did. Other estate agents said they would not be able to sell my house as they wasn't local in the Dagenham area. This could not be further from the truth as they found me a few potential buyers and then one that was offering £15k more than I originally wanted. They were very proactive with everything. Travelling all the way to Dagenham from Rayleigh to take pictures and help me show my house off to its best potential. The communication was excellent. Mike and Thomas are really hands on people and gave me great advice on how best to market the house. If I was unable to contact either of them then Blanche would always be around with her friendly welcoming mannor to relay my messages that always got through. I would not hesitate again in using Essex Guild Homes as my Estate agent for selling my house. I'm now a believer in that you don't always need to use a local Estate Agent to sell your house. Everyone looks on Rightmove anyway. Lastly, I'd like to thank the whole of the Essex Guild Homes team for everything they did for us and would most definitely use them again when selling home. The photos taken of the property were fantastic; they are your shop window and when you see examples of other agents' photos, one cannot help but be very grateful to have Thomas and the team on board. They have been easy to contact, whether via phone or email and always prepared to call back and leave messages where appropriate. The amount of effort and attention to detail has been impressive and so welcome given the competition out there, always acting in the best interests of the customer,.
