I am writing as the purchaser of the house mentioned in the previous review (from the seller) and would like to agree with the review given. Nev was great all the way through.
The listing and viewings:
- The public rightmove listing was brilliant, it gave much more information and was written in a way that showed genuine care for the sale. There were more photos than I generally saw and they really captured the beauty of the property. I initially had a couple of questions which were answered quickly but as I was unable to make the open day Nev contacted me separately to send across a 5 minute video walkthrough of the property along with an information pack. The information pack itself gave a great level of detail, from predicted boundaries, local information, additional photos etc.
- We did two viewings at the house, the first with Nev and the second with the vendors. No question seemed an inconvenience and it was nice that I could meet the vendors and them me, so we knew who we were working with, buying and selling a house is a big thing to do and takes an awful lot of trust between the two.
Offer:
- I initially made an interim offer whilst I waited for an offer on my sale, Nev kindly let me know that until I had a buyer the house would stay on the market. Thankfully it sold quickly and the offer was accepted. I decided to offer asking price for the property, despite knowing a lower offer had been accepted in the previous months. For me, the house was valued correctly given the work the vendors had put in and the unique location. I didn't feel that any negotiation was needed (although I did ask if I could keep the curtains and blinds...). Nev acted as a go between through the process and always came back to me very quickly.
Conveyancing:
Throughout the conveyancing process Nev was always available and answered questions quickly. Toward week 8 I made the request that we pulled back the exchange and completion date so I could move during the school holidays, given my son was in the middle of his GCSE's. Nev helped coordinate this with the vendors and we had a very nervous but smooth simultaneous exchange and completion on the same day. Nev met me at the property on the day to hand over the keys.
Overall it was a great experience as a buyer through Ewemove, and particularly with Nev, you can tell that he genuinely cares about your home. If you are considering selling or buying, you couldn't get any better.

Nev Lyon is great! Our experience with EweMove was so much better than our previous experience with a bigger, high street estate agent, and this was all down to Nev. It was so reassuring to have a single point of contact and he always got back to us immediately if we had any questions. We were made to feel like genuinely valued customers. Because Nev took time at the outset to get to know us and our home, none of the viewings felt like a waste of time (Nev's marketing appeared to target only those buyers who were genuinely committed and who would be 'a good fit' for our home). Well what can I say…
EweMove excelled the market in sales in every way possible in every aspect of the sale.
Previous to EweMove coming to value my property I had five estate agents round to view the property and I could honestly say I wasn’t happy with neither- just so unprofessional in every aspect. Then Nev from EweMove came and honestly blew everyone of them out of the water in every aspect they offered. So much more professional, realistic and it felt for me that it wasn’t another statistic sale on the dater base with each of the five estate agents previous to EweMove felt.
Nev from EveMove offered a great service! 24 hour contact, every question needed answered within the hour and went above and beyond what was needed which I loved as that bespoke service was there.
I’ve dealt with many estate agents within my time but nothing to the level and understanding of everything as EweMove.
With EweMove they gave the realistic accurate valuation on the property and said they would achieve this which they did with no questions. They had a better understanding for the area and gave that much needed guidance to all parties involved.
You may think EweMove were more expensive than the rest but in the long run they were cheap! With what was
offered in the package, more professional in every aspect and that one to one service there was nothing to fault.
Would I use EveMove again?
Most definitely! Excellent services and I couldn’t speak more highly of the team!

We went with Ewe Move after we were impressed by Nev on previous house viewings. Friends also recommended him. We were impressed start to finish - Nev took great photos, marketed our house brilliantly and communicated really well. He managed our buyers and did everything he could to support the process, especially with Corona Virus restrictions. We got full asking price on the first day of viewings. Ewe move use technology to keep the process moving, but it doesn't replace personal service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ewe Move and Nev for your estate agent requirements.

Our first “High Street” estate agents were a dead loss, so we changed to EweMove on the recommendation of our daughter.
What a contrast!
From the start they had a totally professional attitude. The house photos were all triopod taken, not snapped. Proper information and details of the house and garden were taken, not just loosely noted.
All prospective buyers were escorted round the property, with all the extra sanitation Covid 19 requires.
Additionally they also supplied (if required) a solicitor and job Progressor to keep every thing moving once a sale was made.
This is a 5 star company which we would recommend to anybody.

Nev and Terri were excellent from start to finish - making sure they understood what was important to us, keeping us informed and working with our deadlines and working around us when people wanted to view last minute. Could not recommend them highly enough - they're a great team! One thing that sets them apart is that they work FOR the vendor and the viewers - too many estate agents make you feel like a criminal on both ends of the chain. I have only the highest regard for Nev and Terri from Ewemove.
We employed them to market and sell our house in Leeds and were incredibly impressed by their professionalism, polite manner and no hidden clause way of doing business. The photos and write up of our property were top notch and presented it in the most flattering way.
We eventually decided to rent it out, using Nev and Terri as the management agency. The transition was seamless and highly satisfactory, tenants found within a week and all surveys and inventories done to a very high and timely spec.
