Both my Brother and myself recently sold our Family Home of 53 years , due to sad circumstances, through Megan Elvins and John Buckley. On first meeting John, he was very professional and friendly, making myself feel very assured that we'd chosen the right Estate Agent for us. We felt their valuation was spot on, the marketing photos looked great with communication via WhatsApp and email being very good from start to finish. Megan, especially, kept myself calm, as it was a very stressful process over 10 months. Megan came across as being very professional, friendly with a calming influence. I contacted Fairfield following the death of a family member, the solicitor needed a valuation of the house, I first spoke to John who was very kind, the solicitor got the valuation and the house went on the market, I was given regular updates by Daryl who was very helpful, the house was sold quickly, Daryl kept me and the solicitor up to date on every step, the entire team at Fairfield were wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone who is buying or selling a home.

Fairfield handled my house sale brilliantly, even in a really tough market. They know that what they do is, essentially, not rocket science - match buyers to correctly priced properties, get them under offer and ensure the sale goes through. It's of course not as easy as it sounds, and they have clearly invested in the people and systems to make the process as (relatively) painless as possible. I was kept up to date at all stages, they were honest throughout and I felt they were fair to seller and buyer alike. In the end, I got a good price for a good house, with a sale which was smooth and well-managed. The house had remained unsold with the previous agent for 4 months, Fairfield had it under offer within under a month, having generated considerable interest from across their portfolio of agencies. Really can't say fairer than that and, while it's unlikely I'll need to use them again as I have moved out of the area, I can recommend them with great confidence.

If you're looking at moving and are in the Watford area then please don't go anywhere else. I cannot thank Fairfield Estates Agents and John and Abbie enough. Its been a journey to say the least. In the beginning John convinced me that they were the ones to trust after a bit of a nightmare elsewhere, and he was right. Abbie, well what can I say - she went over and above to get us across the line, its was tense and I'm sure I have a few more grey hairs because of it but Abbie kept on top of what was happening - even on her days off and kept us in the loop at all times. This is the first time we have moved for 37 years and therefore we were slightly apprehensive of what lay before us. We shouldn't have worried. Megan, Abbie, Rob and everyone else supported us fantastically on our moving journey. Their knowledge of the local property market was extremely strong which resulted in a "spot on" valuation. Their managing of the viewing process, the offer negotiations and taking us through the contractual stage until contracts were exchanged, could not be faulted and for the former, their knowledge of properties in the area allowed them to come up with some innovative ideas to try to resolve specific issues raised by viewers. Overall, we achieved a strong offer (which we accepted) all done through a very challenging time in the housing market.

After doing around 15 viewings with different agencies (yes, we basically became part-time property critics!), my wife and I can confidently say that Daryl at Oxhey is absolutely stands out from the crowd.<br><br>From the very first call to the viewing itself, Daryl was friendly, kind, and genuinely professional – not in the overly rehearsed, “estate agent” sort of way, but in a refreshingly humble and charming manner that instantly puts you at ease. You can tell he actually cares about people, not just properties.<br><br>We eventually had an offer accepted elsewhere (sorry, Daryl — fate had other plans!), but we both agreed without hesitation that he was our absolute favourite of all the agents we met.
