We've just purchased our first house through fine and country West wales. Gareth was fantastic throughout the process, he had incredibly good knowledge of the property during viewing, far above that of other estate agents we had viewed properties with.
He responded to any queries we had very quickly throughout the purchase process and even during move in day went above and beyond to assist us with getting the utilities turned on and final questions to the vendor sorted fast.

Gareth did a great job. He let us know when he had arrived and prepared for viewings and gave feedback. Gareth was also there to welcome the new owners and ensure they were happy with everything. A great service also from ASAP, who monitored the sale from start to finish keeping us informed of the process daily which was so good for both sides. No void in how the sale was going as we always knew where we were.

An amazing experience selling our home with F&C. From the outset they were invested and diligent. Imogen in the office, Director Nigel and photos by James were all exceptional. A particular shout out to our main contact throughout -Gareth. Nothing was too much trouble, he was in contact sometimes daily and helped the relationship with our buyers who we remain in regular contact with. He really got to know us and all about the house, so he knew exactly what purchasers would get. On the last day of moving he even went to the skip to help!

Having had my property on the market for approx, 2 1/2 yrs with another agent, I decided it was time to change as there was a serious lack of communication from the other agents and really not much thought about the total package.
I was very pleased with how Fine and Country put the sale package together for the property. It was far superior than before. The pictures and write up showed much more clarity and really showed the property at its best. The icing on the cake though was the video. Not only did this sell the house but also sold the idea of living in New Quay. It looked fabulous. New Quay of course doesn’t need much selling but the video gave the prospective buyer a great overview of the house and the area.
I had had contact from the office of Fine and Country, but my main contact was Sue Franklin. She did all the viewings on my property.
From the first viewing we had in February all the way through to the eventual sale of the property, Sue has kept in touch with me every step of the way. All the downfalls, all the ‘quirky’ viewers, all the possibilities. She still messaged me, even if it wasn’t good reading, and this is what I wanted, which I wasn’t getting from the other Estate agents. She is full of great ideas and advice on how to get the property looking its best and if changes needed making. Even down to doing an open day, which did reach potential buyers in the following days.
Also, when a buyer came forward, Sue with her expertise of the proceedings managed to keep me calm as the process took longer than necessary.
I am thoroughly satisfied to give Fine and Country a five* rating for their expertise of showing the house at its best and for Sue for guiding me through the whole process and being a great link between me and the buyers.

Not everything goes smoothly when solicitors interact, and this is when a patient and committed estate agent makes a big difference and can save the day. I was amazed at Nigel Salmon’s continuous responsiveness and unshakable patience. The legal process turned out to be interminable, in spite of the commitment of both buyers and sellers, and an apathetic or impatient agent could have caused the latent wholly-positive transaction to collapse. We used Nigel of Fine & Country to help us find a new home that could be adapted to my needs with a disability. He was really good, professional, personable & carried out what he promised, finding out
all sorts from the vendors for us. He kept us updated & when we eventually found one in the area that we really liked, he helped us get it. If I was selling, I would be using him to sell for us. He sets a high standard for estate agents in the area.

We asked Fine & Country to visit our holiday home on the Lleyn Peninsula during the latest lockdown as we felt it may be time to sell. As we live in England, we were not allowed to visit the house, even for maintenance so were very relieved that Nigel Salmon, who himself lives in Wales was able to go and see the house and give us an estimated value and marketing strategy. As it is a larger property, we felt that Fine & Country with their wider network, would be able to showcase our home of over 40 years, to both a nationwide and international audience.
Although we have since decided to hold off on marketing the house at this time, should we decide to proceed at a later date, Fine & Country will be our choice of agent.
Professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. 1st class company for selling a special property.
