Fine & Country put the for sale board outside our home but didn’t update the website to say details would be available soon or indeed put anything on the website for about 3 weeks. If our buyers ( they only sent one couple to view even when according to them days before we were ready to host prospective buyers there had been numerous people!!!). If this lovely couple hadn’t continued to look on the website we possibly wouldn’t have sold. We had stated we were happy to show people around. However it took the agents weeks to get the brochure ready. We had to rewrite most of the wording for the brochure due to either incorrect information or very badly worded. ( we had sold the house by the time it was ready). The lady who was in charged of our sale was very rude to us. We There were so many problems there isn’t enough room to list them here. I have been in touch to let them know of most of our problems but they were not interested. It seemed to us that once the people who first came to view put their offer in they did nothing to give details to other people. Just seemed strange they were desperate to send people before we were ready ( by about 4 days) then everyone stopped showing any interest????. This was back in May/ June time so can’t help, but think they weren’t really working in our interest. The amount of money we had to pay them for such a small amount of work was scandalous. We are not the only people in the village who haven’t been satisfied with them. Personally I wouldn’t ever use them again if selling a house. ... Read more

We had to ring several times to get things done. All in all I feel we did 80% and they did the rest. Everything was problematic. Our buyers only heard from them as he went out of his front door to visit other properties. Would not choose again.... Read more

After a time with William H Brown which was very disappointing, I listed with F&C. The photos and brochure are amazing (best in the business) and F&C staff were professional. Sadly a buyer was found who was a monumental time waster (after 20 weeks he called the sale off). Due to COVID, the communication became more sporadic than I would have liked. Despite a wonderful start & high expectations, I lost faith that they could bring me a viable buyer. In the end, I ended my contract with them. Tough times for selling houses so perhaps my experience is down to that in part. F&C are a class act but the bottom line is I wanted to sell my house and they didn't manage it.... Read more
