I have used Finn in 2016 buying a property to let. Their service is great. I used them again in 2018 for selling a 16th century property that other agency could not find any buyers during the two years before 2018 but fantastic team at Finn managed to fid a buyer for that 10 bedroom property. In 2025, decided to sell my second home and Finn mamaged to find a buyer after 6 to 8 weeks and the sale was completed end of January 2026. Thank you Finn and your customer friendly staff.... A potential buyer was found but the process dragged so much. that we gave up and tried local - Finns. N* from Finns was outstanding. He has experience and above all connections who he reached out to. PLEASE READ THIS! The agency has low standards and poor principles when it comes to honesty. We were interested on a property we found on zoopla so we call the agency to arrange a viewing. The agent said we had to wait for 2 weeks as the person in charged of the viewings was on annual leave. After 2 weeks waiting we called again and been told viewings wouldn't start for another 2 weeks. We called the office and left message but the agent never returned the call. The property was rented 2 days after. What a waste of time!... Read more

I was told I had to move out of my flat after living there for 15 years, with three months notice; quite a frightening situation, especially in today's economic environment. In my 25+ years experience of letting agents, they have largely all been the same, very nice until they get you in a property and then callous, unreasonable and often unobtainable. Finn's are quite the opposite. They are without doubt the nicest, most caring bunch of letting agents I've ever experienced. Genuine people who somehow have managed to remain human despite working in the property industry. Which letting agent I use has never been a factor when deciding where to rent. Now it will be if I ever need to move again and I wouldn't want to use anyone other than Finn's.... Read more

Nobody answers the phone. I have to fill in masses of information and give all my details over before they answer a simple question. In response to your reply. I have double checked and it was most definitely you. My contact would have come in via the website and the reply sent to my e-mail. You wouldn't have had either of those to be able to check them. I was just asking if a guarantor would be acceptable and received a reply stating to organise a viewing I would need to give an awful lot of information. I called several times to say that I did not need to arrange a viewing just yet just a query but no response. This was terribly disappointing as the property is now stc. I have 7 years in my current property that my Landlord wishes to sell, which we have added value to and never missed a rental payment and was looking for a home that we would be in for at least 7, most likely 10 years due to the high school my children won't be starting at for another 5 years.... Loved the pics of the property online, but when I called the agent wasn't very nice, felt like she was brushing me off and not interested in helping. I understand the current market is a bit crazy and lots of people after properties to rent and buy, but you never know if that could change... So trying to be courteous and engaging with clients might be advisable. After that experience we've decided to go elsewhere and I don't think we would contact them in the future either. Such a shame as I really wanted to rent the property, but couldn't deal with an agent that came across as condescending.... Read more

I was the first person to view a rental property with them, I told them I would take the property without a viewing because we wanted it do much, but we were told we had to have a viewing, after the viewing we said yes we love it , we can pay the deposit now, was told she had to let all four of us view the property then they would present it to the landlord, we told them we would do anything to have this property. Received an email telling me they are going with another couple who can put a considerable amount up front, we were never given that option, I have told them I will give a year rental up front. Won't even consider us, seems like someone took a back hander. Shame they didn't come to us , it could have been considerably more. Nice way of working, very unprofessional I think, tried to make a complaint, but they will cover each others backs, making excuses for each other. They won't even pass it along to the landlord for him to have a choice in the matter.... Read more

Do not use the letting side of Finn's. They are not professional, constantly moaning about the landlord. The property I rented should not have been rented out in its condition. The itinerary they did, was not even close to the actual condition of the property. They apparently had it professionally cleaned before moving in, but it was very dirty. On their inspections while I was there, they said it was being kept immaculate and yet they had the nerve to email me on how to clean and what products to use when moving out. On check out she was running her hand on the units etc to see if it was clean because I said I had cleaned it myself. I have rented before with different agents but never been treated so condescending or discourteous until now.... Read more
