Buying through Shared Ownership can be complex, but Louise was brilliant at keeping the lines of communication open between us, the Housing Association, and the solicitors. Having been through several estate agents in Peterborough to sell my home, I can say that Fitzjohns stands head and shoulders above the rest. The whole process from site visit, valuation, viewings feedback, and general advice on marketing and bids was very professional.
A special shout out to Louise Human who was excellent especially at managing a particularly tricky buyer as well as Paul Barlow whose experience and steady hand was most helpful to manage a few rough moments particularly when that tricky buyer pulled out.
They found two more offers and then got me through completion to much relief and joy. I highly recommend using them to sell your property or if you're looking for someone to help you buy.

They initially overvalued the property by a significant amount vs what we finally managed to sell for. They also didn't initially do what they said they would in terms of advertising and the communication was spotty at the start.
I then called to raise my concerns, ended up dealing with the manager and things really got much better from then on. All the issues were fixed, we started getting loads of viewings and the communications were excellent. That's why we stayed with them after our sole mandate contract ran out. Things go wrong but it's how you deal with that that counts. And they dealt with it very professionally. If w definitely use them again.

They sold the house I bought and did everything possible to get the sale through, my actual estate agent really didn’t earn their fee. Paul Barlow in particular was excellent. Always responsive, proactive, and really helpful. Kept us calm when we were pushing for completion and worrying and whingeing about progress!
We transferred to Fitzjohns after a few months with a different agency who didn't get us any results. It wasn’t a straightforward sale as we had to await probate but Rochelle in particular was very on the ball and gave us updates weekly.

As a landlord it’s great for me because I want my tenants to feel looked after and rent for longer. I also want to know that my interests are being taken care of too. Waiting 3 years for changing lock or door since it’s not working right. 2 years to repair water damage and over a year for dishwasher. The whole team at Fitzjohn was superb. Hollie took a whole 3 hours to sell my property, the day it went to market, i thought she could have been quicker lol. Seriously Hollie was brilliant, also Neil for his expert advice. All went quickly and smoothly. I would certainly recommend Fitzjohn's to sell your property, they take away the stress for you

We used there web only service and sold our house quite quickly to a couple who another estate agents sent round. This then fell through and we used them through a quick sale scheme by a devolper at my request. They sold our house quickly for 15k less than they had previously sold it for as in the contract from the developers we were meant to get to exchange quickly! This didn’t happen and exchange was delayed by almost 3 months! I found they worked really well for the buyer and had to be reminded who was paying them for a service. Neil I found to be unhelpful and unsupportive and only really had the best interest of the buyer in mind. At the end I think he wanted me to say I was grateful for all they done as it had gone through at just over 3 months the average to sell a house. What he failed to realise was we took 15k less as it was meant to be a quick sale. These estate agents made the process unnecessarily stressful and unpleasant. I would caution against using them.

I found Harry at Fitzjohns to be a really reliable trustworthy estate agent. He dealt with all the complications with my letting and was around whenever I needed him to co-ordinate deliveries etc, as I live far away. He sorted out all the modernisations I needed, even in his spare time. He went the extra mile by a long, long way. Thanks Harry

Fitzjohn of Peterborough provided a professional and friendly service, they kept me up to date with anything that was going on from the very start all the way up to the completion on the house.
I would recommend there services to anyone looking to buy or even sell their house.
If I ever had any queries they were always happy to help me and answer any questions I had.
I have moved house twice in the last two years and Fitzjohns was by far the best estate agent I have dealt with.

I dealt with Harry at Fitzjohns and found him to a be a highly professional individual with craft knowledge in his field. From the initial viewing stages to the completion of the transaction I found all employees very helpful and would definitely use them again if my circumstances change

Harry at Fitzjohn was an absolute nightmare to deal with, from the very start the viewing process was difficult, the offer process was worse. I felt like harry had a chip on his shoulder, I'm younger than him and work incredibly hard to earn the money I do and it probably bothers him.
He took ages to relay offers to the vendor.
He was annoyed when my usual mortgage advisor advised him that I had everything necessary to buy the property and insisted I visit his advisor Kat.
After visiting Kat and being advised that I was more than capable of securing finances, Kat told me she would pass the information on to Harry who would then contact me.
4 days later I contacted Harry as he didn't call, he said that he was going to call me and that unfortunately the house was taken off the market.
A week later I called and asked about the flat without giving my name, to which he advised the flat was still for sale. Lovely.
What an absolute waste of time.

Excellent, professional and trustworthy service. I felt fully informed and supported throughout our recent house sale and purchase. Such a time consuming and stressful process to go through but it was made 100% easier by Neil and his team. Extremely knowledgable of Peterborough and surrounding areas and without them we wouldn't have found our perfect home. Highly recommend.

Yesterday I wrote positive review but today I take it all back. I have never dealt with an unscrupulous company like this before. You did not even give me a chance to up my offer just sold it to someone else. You say it was best and final but you didn't say that yesterday at all when I upped the offer. Today you say the buyers had their mortgage in place, SO DID I. Please feel free to contact me you have my number but I won't hold my breath because you know you were wrong in what you have done

WHAT A NIGHTMARE ! - One of the worse estate agents I have ever used in my time of house selling.
Rude staff that are not interested and laugh at you down the phone, don't call you when they say they will and don't do as your ask of them. When they came to list the house the "Owner" was in and out in 15 mins, clearly not bothered or interested, very unapproachable! - A joke from start to finish, would not recommend at all!
