Terrible!!! Booked a viewing of a property. Received a confirmation text at 1 PM My partner got there after travelling 1 hour. Nobody was there, so he called to find out they had cancelled the viewing, saying they had tried to call. Well, I didn’t answer because I have a newborn, but they could have sent a text message or an email, wasting people’s time uselessly.

My experience with Gibbs Gillespie has been nothing short of unacceptable.<br><br>I was in the process of purchasing a property through them and later discovered that the property was subject to an enforcement notice — something that Alex Robinson was fully aware of but failed to disclose to me at any point during the transaction. This is material information that directly impacts a buyer’s decision and should have been made clear from the outset.<br><br>Because of this failure, the purchase collapsed. I had already paid a substantial deposit, yet despite the circumstances arising from information they did not disclose, Gibbs Gillespie have refused to return my money.<br><br>The lack of transparency, professionalism, and accountability has cost me significant time, stress, and money. I feel completely misled and let down by an agency that should be acting with integrity.<br><br>I would strongly caution anyone considering using Gibbs Gillespie to proceed very carefully and ensure that all legal and planning matters are independently verified before committing financially.

What amazing agents!<br><br>I have experience with a few estate agents. I always had mixed feelings and plenty of disappointments before, and was sceptical about using any while selling my property.<br><br>I found my new place through Gibbs Gillespie, so I went with them to sell my current home. I thought it would be a nightmare. [heheheh] Completely opposite.<br><br>Fantastic people, so warm, gentle and negotiate the best price like lions. When I was buying from them, I felt a healthy sense of pressure. I remember thinking, "Wow, they really care about their sellers".<br>When I was selling ... guess what? I got the full asking price. Because of this crew's professionalism.<br><br>Perfect pictures, professional floorplan, posh brochures, over-the-roof client support (how they handle us - we can be nasty vendors), huge flow of viewings.<br>My agent, who presented my property, is the most clever woman I've seen in a long time. She knew exactly what to say, was adjusting to the "temperature" of the people around her, and was rescuing the situation when I said something wrong. After a few viewings, I tried to stand behind her and open my mouth whenever she showed me she wanted it. Total trust. It is gold to have that employee.<br>And she got a few offers in two days of viewings!<br><br>Whenever I have a call with the person who handling my property sale, it's always such a relaxed conversation, and he always wants the best options for me.<br><br>I hope I will never have to sell or buy again ... wait ... I am not sure now. Appreciate Thomas, on reverting on this and get things sorted.<br>..............................................<br><br>I'm in a process of buying a property from Gibbs Pinner, before finalising the property i had 3 viewings and after confirming the property due to the nature of extensive renovation i had 3 viewings with contractors. In total 6 viewings in matter of 4 months and last 3 viewings in 4 weeks span.<br>I need to do home inspection survey along with one or two contractors, however i have been told by their manager Thomas Carol and one of the agent Oshin, they will not allow viewing or only one where i can bring every one which is not possible or fair. To be honest It's not pleasant, I feel like cancelling the deal.

We selected Gibb Gillespie as the estate agents to sell my mother's property in Pinner. We liked the agent's quiet professional approach, his knowledge of the market, his careful approach to valuation and the way he spoke of potential clients. We also liked their sales strategy and the fact that they had a team involved in the sale who knew about the house, plus a dedicated staff member to follow up with solicitors once a purchaser had been found. At all times, the team were courteous, prompt, kind and efficient. They found a cash buyer with no chain in a very reasonable timespan and followed up with us at each stage of the process. They gave us confidence and a real sense that they knew who we were and were genuinely keen to work with us. They had infinite patience when we requested that they ask the photographers to retake the pictures of the house, resulting in a brochure with which we were very happy and which drew a good number of enquiries. As we live 200 miles distant, they did all the viewings and kept us informed us at each stage. They also took the final meter readings with us the day before completion and made constructive arrangements for the collection and handover of all the keys. We cannot speak too highly of their service and would very strongly recommend them to anyone selling a property in the area. Thank you all so much.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this estate agent, whose practices can only be described as predatory. Their sole agenda appears to be selling properties at all costs, with little regard for honesty or integrity.<br><br>I would strongly advise avoiding an agent named Alex Robinson. Initially, he seemed attentive and cooperative, particularly in the lead-up to the exchange of contracts. However, after the sale was completed, the true state of the flat became apparent—it was in terrible condition. When I attempted to contact him to address these issues, I was met with complete radio silence.<br><br>To make matters worse, I was misled about the property’s history. I was assured there had only been one prior occupant, but the post and evidence in the flat clearly indicated at least five different residents. This blatant dishonesty reflects a poor moral compass and exemplifies the worst traits of estate agents.<br><br>Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied with the service and would caution others against engaging with this agent or agency.

I have previously purchased property through Gibbs Gillispie, but this experience has been the worst I could have imagined. Our requests were overlooked repeatedly, and I question the purpose of having a move manager involved. I assumed they would assist us with the buying process and ensure that the estate agent addressed all necessary details, but that was not the case at all. I gave a single star because I did have a positive experience with the local representative when I bought this flat. If given the option, I would not choose to work with them again.

We have had a really bad experience with Gibbs Gillespie Pinner on what should have been a very exciting period for us purchasing our first property. We had numerous occasions where we were told that they would be returning our call but never did and we had to again and again chase.<br>Had this been the only issue I would have accepted it however when we did get through or get a phone call returned the agents were rude and made us feel like we were bothering them. Lauren, Danny and Ellie never returned any calls.<br>The only person who was willing to help and was always respectful and polite was Thomas who would return our calls and help us as much as he could.<br>Even when the funds were transferred and the sale complete, when I queried when I could pick up my keys as confirmed by my solicitors, they simply stated that I could not pick them up yet. I then had to go back to my solicitors who contacted the sellers solicitors who were more helpful and confirmed I could collect my keys from them.<br>They made the process more difficult for me and given they were making such a large commission, it is not an agent I would recommend and I will ever use

I highly recommend Gibbs Pinner<br><br>I sold my first home and used the team at Gibbs Pinner and from there mannerisms to the professional attitude they had I couldn’t have gone better,<br>Danny was very polite and great to deal with made the whole process very pleasant from getting it on the market to sale agreed, once sale agreed the after care treatment of Irene was brilliant she really made the whole conveyancing process a lot easier and was great to deal with, my solicitor was great but really think she made it a lot easier due to buyers solicitor being quite difficult to work with, without her I think it would have been harder, her communication to work ethic was great she really brought it together and made it go trouble free with getting it to then sold<br><br>First time selling a home and it couldn’t have happened as great as it was without Danny Tj and Irene thank you all again wish you all the best

They are very unreliable and not professional at all! We put down an offer for a property within their EA, and in the middle of our negotiation, out of the sudden the staff who was dealing with that specific property, ghosted us, and never takes our calls!<br><br>It has been like two weeks that we are waiting for that staff's call back to get the outcome of our offer! Whenever we call the office and ask for them to follow up about our offer, their colleague are telling us, he is on another line and will call you back! But he never called back! We contacted them at least 6 times during two weeks to speak with that person regarding the property we were interested to buy, but they never called us back!<br>We found it very rude and nonprofessional of them!<br><br>I saw another review here that one person mentioned, they are avoiding their calls as soon as they see their number, which is more or less similar to our scenario, with a big different that we were in the middle of negotiations!!!

Horrible behaviour from this agency and these people. I was 30 mins late for my viewing, had emailed in advance, didn’t get any reply from them. I was told that there are back to back viewings for the day and there is only one slot available so I assumed that the agent is busy. I drove 1.5 hours to be there, once at the door, no one was there, no one was picking the call at their office either. Someone picked once and disconnected immediately. I used my partner’s phone to call, they picked up in one go. When I spoke to the person on call and told her all this, she was literally screaming at me for being late and for not informing via call. These people are rude and have very well managed to destroy my mood and my day. Never getting in touch with them again.
