Honest, Great Service and Caring
Tom has helped me put my house back on the market after taking it off for over a year since it wasn't selling through other estate agents. Since I wanted a fairly quick sale but not lose money on the house, Darren assured me that they would be able to sell it within no time. They were honest and straight talking (no sales BS...) when I wanted them to tell me the truth and how things were going to roll. They worked hard to get the sale through even though my buyers and the people I'm buying off both had terrible solicitors, Tom was able to push them when needed.
I do believe that the service that all of Goodwin provided has been excellent. I would recommend them over everyone else in the stamford area as they have a great window (for footfall) and they are just some of the most genuine but understandable people.

I do property maintenance for Goodwins. I’ve worked with quite a few agents in my time, but Goodwins are the keeper. I know when I walk into any one of their properties that inspections are up to date, there’ll be no nasty surprises, responses are instant and they are thorough!
I let properties myself in Whittlesey with another agent due to distance and it’s night and day in their differences. If ever they expand that far I’ll move to them in a heartbeat!!

For the sale of our house in Stamford I can’t recommend the team at Goodwins highly enough. Their level of professionalism throughout the sale and communication with all the parties involved made the process run like clockwork.
If I had any questions or concerns I was always able to pick up the phone or email and get a prompt response from one of the team, and they were always able to keep things straightforward and timely when it came to informing us of anything we needed to do as part of the sale process.
They were able to recommend and work with a local solicitor at Chattertons to bring the sale to completion from initial marketing in 3 months!

Having rented many properties previously, through a variety of agents, at best we have had satisfactory service. Goodwins well exceeded our expectations and showed us what a fantastic experience renting a property should be.
They listened, they genuinely cared, they responded quickly and maintained good lines of communication between them, us and the landlords.
Although Chris was the main person we dealt with and he was so professional and polite, everyone we had any conversations with in the office was always very helpful and friendly.

My overall experience of dealing with Goodwins was outstanding! From the moment we viewed our dream home, Darren, Tom and Jane provided the most incredible level of service. When we saw the house we were not in good position to secure the property, but Darren and the team came swiftly to our aid, spending hours taking some incredible photo's of our house and developing a superb 3D video tour so that we could get our house on the market as quickly as possible. Goodwins managed to sell our house in under a week, at a price we were extremely happy with. They also then helped handle all the negotiations with the seller and supported us in navigating a protracted probate process, as well as complex deeds and covenants that arose from the searches. From the day we met, to the day I collected the keys (10 months later!) Goodwins were there at our side to help us through the process. The most friendly helpful service I have ever had in property rental the team are all very accommodating, kept us informed every step of the way and since moving in to our dream home the ongoing care I have to say is the most modern efficient system I’ve known in many years of rental. For part of a large group you still feel looked after by you local team and not lost in a sea of clients. Full marks to the stamford Letting’s team in every way.

DIsappointed with the service. Goodwin failed to do due diligence on a buyer I had an offer from, who wasnt in a position to make an offer. Encourage me to wait it out, thus costing me other valuable potential viewers. And when I asked when my sole agency ended with them, the house i had put an offer on (also through themselves) was suddenly sold. Aloof, uncaring and lacking in transparency. Regret the instruction.

A fantastic independent estate agent. If the Goodwins' ethos was used across all agents in the country then buying and selling would be a lot less stressful!
I've used Goodwins several times over the last couple of year for buying, selling and managed letting and they are absolutely faultless.
If you want an agent who picks up the phone, who keeps you updated and is actively involved in making your sale/purchase happen then you need to speak to the team at Goodwins. We have tried other agents and we've found them to be utterly useless.
I think I've been in contact with just about everyone on the Goodwin's team over the years and they are all lovely, professional and helpful.

I am a not impressed with the behaviour of Andrea, she was very rude, to the other client... while to poor girl was only being polite. I was shocked to find that important private, data of this client was actually left on the desk over night and not locked away. The girl, mearly, expressed her concern, Andrea told her to go and complain then, and rolled her eyes , as well as pulled her face. I thought she was very rude to her. Shame on you good wins! To have staff that treat customers like this.

Estate Agents do not come any better than Goodwin. My experience of a Purchase then a Sale has made them the No.1. agent to deal with in Stamford and surrounding areas.
