They are, in my 40 years of buying/selling homes, the best Agents I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with - firstly because they truly care and are kind people. Then there is the excellent handholding, sound advice and finally Stuart's fantastic legal knowledge without actually being a lawyer. Stuart has been amazing from start to finish, we found a well presented flat and sent in an enquiry, was contacted back by Stuart very promptly and organised a viewing without a hitch, we then sent in an offer and he got it agreed within a day, during the conveyancing we experienced delays due to our soliciter but Stuart went out of his way to make sure any issues were resolved. Most of the service was great. The viewings were flawless and well organised. Stuart was always available at the end of an email and responded quickly to enquires. He also acted as liason between the buyer and us as a seller. He went above and beyond to solve problems that the solicitors seemed unable to resolve as they had skimmed over information. Our issue was a lack of communication that ended up costing us money. There also seemed to be a significant focus on trying to push us into agreeing with the buyers every wish regardless of the impact on us. Apparently it had been agreed with the buyer that we would be replacing a fence in our back garden, this message was not passed on to us and lead to an stressful and late negotiation. Some of the communication around this seemed very focused on getting our buyer what they wanted, and fear mongering around backing out of the sale. Our buyer wanted access to the house to quote up some work he wanted doing. We outlined that we were happy to do this but it had to work around our daughters bedtime and our commitments. We got significant push back from Grants around this. We had also made it clear that we didn't want to meet the buyer, and as the negotiation had not been in my mind pleasant. On the day of completion a estate agent from Grants insisted that we had to be the ones to hand over the keys to buyer as again that is what they wanted.... Read more

From beginning to end, Stuart at Grants Addlestone branch kept in great contact and went above and beyond to help with our sale. We always had plenty of notice before anyone came for a viewing. And when we did sell our house, gave great advice and even helped with our paperwork as unfortunately we had a not so great solicitor. We were always in the loop as to what was going on and date of when it would all be finalised (which is was) considering this was all over Christmas, New Year it all still finalised as planned.
