After a few years of disagreement because my wife wanted to downsize and I wasn’t ready for it, I finally gave in at the age of 78 and started get serious about looking for a smaller home a few months ago. Having got Hayward Fox to market our house twice in the past three years before getting cold feet and pulling out, I have to say that Darren has been incredibly patient with me. I am amazed that at no time did he display anything but courteous professionalism in dealing with such a fickle customer! When my wife and I found our dream home in January, Darren pulled out all the stops to get our house back on the market as quickly as possible. The good news is that contracts were exchanged in late February and completion was achieved before the end of March. Darren is clearly knowledgeable about the properties and area he covers. The experience he has is invaluable, and he is generous with his advice and information. But above all, he appreciates and navigates the human-side of the process too. He struck a great balance throughout.

After my mum moved into a home in November we approached Hayward Fox to advertise her property for sale. She passed in December.
For 6 months the property has been handled terribly. We had 3 viewings in that 6 month period. Zero feedback from those viewings. Absolutely no contact from Hayward Fox as to what we could do better. The whole customer journey has been appalling, well non existent to be honest. And even when we said we were moving to another, much more engaging, agent, unbelievably the communication stayed at zero. I have had a very positive experience from Hayward Fox in the past but this was frankly terrible. Made the stressful situation of losing my mum 10 times worse and I will never forgive them or ever use them again.
