We're an unusual estate agent.
We do all the usual things to help people make decisions on their property. Throughout Essex and in Brentwood and Chelmsford, whether it's to buy, sell, rent or lease, we're always here to lend a helping hand.
But we also like to play a big role in the community too. We organise events and open our offices to the community as well.
We like to think of ourselves as a hub of information for everyone in the area and like to get involved in local life whenever we can.
Being from the local area, we’re very proud of Brentwood and Chelmsford and do what we can to help the area flourish both in terms of helping people move but also by celebrating everything that the area has to offer.

Buyer beware. unprofessional agency.<br><br>We made two offers on the same property. The first time we waited a month for a response while they blamed the seller and kept the house online. The second time, they gave us hope, pushed us to use their solicitor and services, yet continued showing the property to others.<br><br>After two months of stress, they sold the house to someone else. As foreign buyers, we were clearly treated as a backup option, not as serious clients.<br><br>Extremely stressful, disappointing experience.<br>Avoid.

Buyer beware. This agency plays games with buyers.
We made an offer on a property for the first time and waited a full month for a response, while they kept blaming the seller for the delay. During this time, the house was still advertised online.
After six weeks, the property came back on the market, so we submitted another offer. We were given hope that the house would be ours. They pushed us to agree to using their recommended solicitor and even suggested that using their agency to sell our own property would help us secure the deal. We agreed to everything in good faith.
Despite this, they continued showing the property to other buyers. They deliberately dragged the process out, kept us as a backup option, and after two months of stress and uncertainty, they sold the house to someone else.
As foreign buyers, we were ultimately left without the property, despite fully cooperating and meeting all their requirements. We genuinely felt we were treated as a safety net rather than serious buyers.
This experience was extremely stressful, disappointing, and unfair.
Avoid this agency.

HOME did a wonderful job finding us a buyer at asking price, in under 2 weeks from the advert going live. We were on with a different agent previously, they came in with a revised plan of how to market, and found quality potential buyers from the get go.
The quick turnaround enabled us to get an offer accepted on our ideal house. We were in competition with a few parties, all of whom needed to sell there own property first, HOME'S effectiveness is the reason we were able to get our future home.
I would absolutely recommend them to anyone, and wouldn't hesitate to use again in future.

We have just completed a sale of an investment property that has been managed by the Home Partnership. We have been very happy with the service from the lettings department managed by Tracy and her excellent team. So it made sense to sell via the Home Partnership as well and we were delighted as they were superb.
We were kept regularly updated throughout the transaction by Jo and everyone we dealt with were helpful and professional.
A last minute potential issue was resolved by Scott. All in all it was a first class and professional service and I cannot recommend them highly enough for both sales and lettings.

HOME Partnership Estate Agent Chelmsford initially impressed us after having moved the last time 10 years prior. The human contact, professionalism and regular communication by telephone and email was pleasing amongst our professional and family lives. We originally chose HOME, recommended to us by friends, as during the home visit, they presumed nothing, but were transparent with the market (even though there was a major slip on the market value of our property to sale), compared to their competitors, some of whom were arrogant, pretentious and exuded needing not our custom. The vending fee was reasonable and in line with the competition. Their in-house photographer was meticulous, professional and no-fuss. Time lines were openly discussed and adhered to. Our property description, however, needed adjusting due to grammar and spelling mistakes, as well as some minor details having been missed out. HOME corrected these immediately. When we debated a higher market price, HOME disagreed politely, but accepted our increase on the asking price, which was met and some (!), despite HOME wanting a good statistic back for their competitive marketing records and to catch the market when it was hot. HOME organised a fantastic open house day and evening, as our property was very sought-after, which brought in some negotiation. HOME communicated effectively and quickly to serve both us and our buyers. The team was patient as we spent up to 3 weeks searching after our potential sale. When last minute, 4-weeks after the initial open house, we changed our search property desire, following almost finalising a deal, HOME adapted without judgment. Their contacts in the solicitor and mortgage fields have also been useful. We thank the team for their diligence and look forward to a quick sale and purchase, albeit very early on in the process at the moment. We recommend HOME at this stage of the process.

Having used Home before we already knew we’d receive a first class service and we certainly did, from the moment we made contact with them! Upon reaching out to them to discuss putting our house on the market, we received their help, support and advice plus the benefit of their many years experience to decide the best approach to market our house and the likely value we’d achieve. It was an open and honest conversation together with lots of tips on how to present our home for the photographs and viewings to maximise its potential. We received a personalised detailed presentation which is so helpful, easy to understand, no jargon.
Communication throughout is fantastic, whether that be by phone, in person or via the emails and text message updates we received. They also have an App (Keysio) that’s updated as the sale progresses so you can see the present position for yourself. Every single person we met and/or spoke to at Home were lovely, they couldn’t be more friendly and helpful.
The marketing approach they recommended worked incredibly well and we had several viewings and several offers. Home managed these throughout and yet again communication was brilliant. They carried out negotiations on our behalf and once we’d accepted an offer they worked hard to progress the matter. They were in constant communication with ourselves, our buyers, our sellers and all of the legal teams involved. We cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work and fantastic support. We highly recommend them and would definitely use them should we decide to move again in the future!

My renting journey with HOME started in around February 2021. Bradley was initially the first member of staff that facilitated the viewings of the property. Bradley was attentive, punctual and really genuine when giving an insight to both the property and the landlords expectations.
Bethany then has been the member of staff who has since helped and throughout renting. Bethany is an absolute asset to the team at HOME - she has the ability to make you feel at home despite being in someone else’s property, inspections are kept very genuine and relaxed with limited pressure on having to make sure all your washing is put away! Bethany has continued to answer any questions, contact the landlord quickly if a question needs to be answered and supported the maintenance of the property, I am extremely grateful to Bethany for making a daunting process very simple.
When contacting the office at HOME all staff who answered the phone are polite, helpful and very down to earth.
I couldn’t recommend HOME enough and do/will have 100% trust that they can accommodate to all needs.

We engaged with Home Partnership to sell our property and used their Premium Plan 3 as thought it best suited the nature of the property we were selling.
They acted professionally throughout and we really felt they were acting on our behalf, escorted viewings, prompt follow ups, regular updates through to due diligence to validate the final chain. Nothing was too much trouble.

I found all of the staff I dealt with open, friendly and efficient. My house was marketed in September 2020 and viewings were handled by HP as I had already moved out of the area. Although I will not be able to use HP again for the foreseeable , I would recommend them to those of you who are looking for a home in Essex.

Bradley, Tracey and Kaye have been such a pleasure to deal with. They found great tenants for one of my rental property in Chelmsford, conducted all the proper due diligence, kept me updated, and managed the property very well. I cannot fault the team - even during COVID-19, they were a phone call or email away and proactively kept on top of all matters.
As a developer and investor, I have used several agents in Essex since 2014 - and personally, I have yet to experience a better lettings service than with The Home Partnership. They are a close-knit team and I highly recommend any landlord seeking for an excellent lettings service to contact them.
More recently, I am looking to buy another property in Chelmsford. The sales team are helpful, providing me with unbiased suggestions and some valuable guidance to assist me with my purchase decisions during this current climate.

In the February this year our house in Chelmsford was successfully sold by The Home Partnership.
The whole team are very professional and seamless throughout the entire process. They worked extremely hard to keep us up to date on the progress of our sale, indeed we blinked and it was complete.
As a brand, The Home Partnership are really in tune with the current housing market and how to look after modern consumers - this give them the edge locally for sure. If you are looking for an Estate Agent in the area I cannot recommend these guys high enough!
