Paul has been fantastic from the start. We have been searching to find the right property since November in 2024, and have had the pleasure of meeting Paul. Paul has shown us around on a collection of homes throughout our search for the right one.
He took great care and consideration of our preferences, he gave multiple considerable options that we may have not considered previously. Both times, Paul knew what we wanted and we made offers on both properties that we would have not viewed if it wasn’t for Paul and his keen eye.
Fortunately, we have had our most recent offer accepted on a property we were not planning on viewing, but Paul recommended this property to us as he knew it was the right fit. He was right, it was our dream home.
We can’t thank HGH & Paul enough for their support and dedication to finding our home, we are yet to get through the paperwork and contracts however I have no doubt things will go smoothly with the support of HGH.
Edit ** - we have now completed our purchase. I cannot sing Alexis’s praise enough. From the start of the purchase to the end, Alexis was there supporting us throughout. She was honestly the back bone behind all of this and spent endless hours chasing solicitors and enquiries for us.

Mike saw through the majority of the transaction and Shay filled in on a few occasions. I had been with two other agents prior to Hull Gregson Hull in order to sell my property with no luck. Despite being disheartened Mark reassured me straight away and I felt so much more confident. It felt like a fresh start despite so much disappointment.
The viewings came thick and fast and within six weeks I had an offer. I rejected this but it was quickly followed by another that Alexis secured for me - just before Christmas! A wonderful way to start 2024.
During the whole process from start to finish the Portland team have been very friendly, professional and efficient in everything they do. Above all else, they genuinely care and are sincere - which is not something I can say about the majority of agents I've experienced.

We were looking to buy a house in the Portland\Weymouth area, while living several hours away, which added its own complications. But despite this, everyone at Hull Gregson Hull did everything possible to help us.
We mostly dealt with Alexis, who dealt with all of our questions promptly, and where they needed to be answered by the developer, passed the question on and ensured that we received the answer.
Every time we wanted an appointment to view the house, they were made on the date and time that we wanted.

We recently used HGH for renting. We were in great need to find a home and the entire situation was time sensitive as finding a home made the difference between keeping our jobs or losing them! We had had several bad experiences with several other estate agents and so confidence wasn’t there!

I cannot recommend Matt and his team highly enough. They made what seemed what seemed to be a daunting task (buying our first home) into a simple and pain free experience providing us with reassurance and handling all of our enquiries along the way!
During the process our solicitors were absolutely shocking but HGH continued to support us throughout ensuring that everybody including the developers stayed in the loop and timelines adapted accordingly.
Even after moving Matt and his team have stayed in touch checking in on progress with the house and genuinely paying an interest in what we have achieved.
If you want to feel like more than just a number on a database and have a team on your side who genuinely have your best interests at heart then Matt and his team at HGH are the team for you. Looking forward to maybe using them again in the future should we decide to move again.
