Brilliant service. Always on the end of the phone to help with any queries, and never made me feel like I was bothering them when I contacted the office. Harley especially is fantastic, she answered all my queries, reassured me when I felt stressed and I felt like she was there every step of the process.
All the staff who assisted with viewings were very knowledgeable and professional. Viewing feedback was given in a quick manner and any emails were answered on the same day.

I put my house on the market with Hunters at the end of January 2025. After speaking with a couple of other agents. They knew their business and the local market far better than the competition who left me a bit bemused.I thought it would be a long process due to the price for the area. It only took 3 viewings and 2 months later a sale was agreed.
I put that down to some excellent marketing, there were really good photos, video and drone shots which really showed the house off to its best.
The whole process was finished and completed by early July without any hitches.
I was regularly kept updated how the process was progressing by the staff.
I took the exclusive package and whilst I didn’t want a for sale board outside the property I got lots of interest.
Everything went very smoothly and I would certainly recommend the Bridlington Hunters branch to everyone.

I have dealt with Hunters previously at Head Office level some years ago in a profesional capacity and I gather the Company is under new ownership and the branches we dealt with were both under a franchise arrangement.
I am happy to give positive feedback regarding the handling of our proposed tenancy and being a bit of a dinosaur with regards to IT, I struggled a little with the computer based side of the referencing process. However, once Hunters were made aware of this, they quickly came to our rescue and expedited this to a conclusion.
The viewing process of the said property was another positive aspect of our experience and it was refreshing to hear such positive feedback regarding the landlord - we believe this is most critical and gave us both confidence to proceed.
The property was presented beautifully by Hunters and it was a nice touch by the Franchisee to supervise the final checks and also leave the heating on, in order to make the property so welcoming on our arrival in the present bitter weather. Many thanks to all at Hunters. Paul & Elizabeth

I finally seem to have found a really good, competent agent to manage my rental properties.
The first property I put with them rented quickly and they took care of the details efficiently.
The tenants in the 2nd one move in tomorrow. I'm looking forward to a stress free transfer of utilities etc.

They advise on rental values.
They do really thorough inventory and pictures on check in ( I assume checkout too but I've not got that far).

We drove 250 miles to view a house to let, advertised @ £900 pcm. On viewing the house we said we would like it. It was said during viewing a similar house down south would cost at least £1000…. The very next day, they ring to offer us the house for £1000!!! We were shocked how the price just went up. A very dishonest and unprofessional estate agency.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Such an unprofessional slipshod business, very poor communicators mainly dealing over the phone, reluctant to email for some reason. Constantly having to chase them, no initiative even forgetting to inform me of a viewing resulting in a buyer pulling out. So poor I changed agents and sold in weeks. Also watch out for the 21 day clause in the contract that ties you to them even when you leave. Such charlatans, go anywhere else.

I am disgusted by the practices of this place. There is a complete lack of professionalism, and buyer respect. I would no longer trust Hunters to look after the purchase of our new home, or the sale of our existing one, when you cannot act in our best interests by allowing other viewings of a property which had already been sold to us. As a young buyer we were ready, willing and able, and I did absolutely everything asked of us (providing documents etc). These people have no integrity and did not do as they promised. I will definitely not be recommending them to my friends, family or clients - especially Catherine who we found consistently awkward to deal with.

Given 1 star because Google won't allow a minus, typical Dirty tricks as these people still allow Gazumping to take place, we are due to sign contracts on monday next when they inform us we have sold the property to another buyer, this is after they agreed on more than one occassion to remove it from the market do not show anyone else round the property and price agreed. Scum is what they are and why everyone hates them so much. I wish all in the Bridlington office all that's bad. It takes a certain type of person to be an Est Agent, imagine what it takes to be a Hunters agency.....The only agent in Bridlington to still carry out this appalling practice. Very poor. You ask simple questions as a potential buyer, like whether there is a lease or maintenance charge, and they don't bother getting back to you. You ring office and get a 'couldn't give a sh1t ' attitude.

Friendly, polite professional staff who seemed to care and were happy to help deal with problems. They were on the ball with communicating with solicitors and sellers, taking some of the stress out of the legal proceedings. If only the paid solicitors had the same ethos it would make moving house not as daunting.

We were promised we got a house through the rental side of hunters so we handed our notice in at the current property, to then find our application didn't go through because they based it on partners last year's earnings in which he didn't earn much, got a guarantor who had savings to also be declined even though we have well over enough earnings now and offered proof via bank statements. We have 2 weeks to find somewhere to live now with a child and they don't care at all, their reply were " we didn't ask you to hand your notice in" absolutely disgusting will NEVER use these again and poor communication skills between staff. They have caused a lot of stress and upset i am very very disattisfied and will be reporting this further

Accepted our offer on a house and told us they wouldn't take any more viewings, we where made up as it was the house of our dreams only to receive a call later that day to tell us they let someone else view (a chain) and they put in a higher bid and they have accepted that one, in a word disgusting!
We had a previous offer rejected as we where just short of the asking price so we went away and borrowed and sold assets to be able to meet the buyers price only a week later! To be told its ours and be overjoyed then have it ripped away from us just five hours later is outrageous.It has gone to a mortgage chain rather than a young family!
This practice is scheduled to be debated in the Houses of commons and could soon be made illegal, regulation of property agents has been proposed by mp's to protect first time buyers (like us) and to also enable young people/family's (like us) to get on the property ladder. My advice would be go with and estate agent that practices a good moral code before waiting for the law to step in, the extra couple of % in commission was obviously of more importance to Hunters Estate agents than been a moral practice and shattering a young family's dreams
Simply additional viewings should have been cancelled once the offer was accepted by the seller

I bought my first house in December through Hunters and I was really pleased with the service and help I received. We bought a repossession property which had to go ahead quickly and efficiently. We received all the relevant information we needed and was able to get the house we wanted after much fighting off other interested buyers!!
