Arranged a viewing for a property and the estate agent was unprepared.
They were not sure of the property they were meant to be showcasing and picked up the wrong keys.
They tried to go back to the office and get the correct keys and realised they are at another estate agents (who were closed).
15 minutes later the agent proceeds to blame his customers and joint agents for being unprepared for their own viewings. After I closed down further interest the agent attempts to argue down the phone - I hung up.

Having just dealt with the renting process on behalf of my parents, Ian Watkins team have been nothing but fantastic from start to finish.
From the getgo we had the pleasure of dealing with Kirsty from the lettings team.
Her kindness, compassion and willingness to help us has been exceptional. Whilst handling the whole process with the upmost professionalism.
With my father being disabled & parents of a certain age, we took on the (at times) daunting task of handling everything that is involved with renting a property. I can honestly say, we wouldn't have got through it so smoothly if it wasn't for Kirsty. She was quite literally on hand to help, also out of office hours or on her days off!
Her dedication, knowledge and great sense of humour made it, dare I say... enjoyable!
My mother has spoken to Ian Watkins directly since they've moved in and she says he's also extremely accommodating and had a warm manor when a few small queries have arisen that were dealt with immediately.
For example, the toilet wasn't flushing properly when they moved in and within hours (on 'Christmas Eve) after reporting the issue, a plumber was on their doorstep to rectify the problem!
With all of the above said, goes without saying that I 'highly' recommend Ian Watkins Estate Agents. A fabulous five star team & service, with a warm dedicated attitude.
Thank you team and Kirsty, you are clearly a valuable member of 'team Watkins' and like I said, we wouldn't have done this move without you!

I was recommended to Ian Watson and in particular Kirsty by a close friend who had experienced outstanding service when buying a property a few years ago. He literally had five weeks to find a house and move (having sold his) or become homeless. Kirsty made it happen in a very helpful, friendly and professional way. Ian Watkins had the right property, at the right price, in the right location.
I recently decided I would move from Surrey to Worthing and obviously decided to get in touch with Kirsty. This time I needed to rent on a temporary basis, while I sold two properties and could then decide what I wanted to buy, where and a what price.
Kirsty lived up to my high expectations and found me a very suitable place to live while I sort things out. Again she was very helpful, listened to what was required, all in a friendly ,yet, professional manner. Very highly recommended.

Ian and his team have been excellent in handling the sale of my Dad’s property. They are so efficient and have kept us up to date all the way through the process. It was also due to to them, specifically Suzanne, that a very tricky situation (caused by solicitors) was avoided. Would recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agency that goes over and beyond the standard service provided by most.

I am very unhappy with my experience with these estate agents.
I booked a viewing of a property and nobody turned up.
When I phoned, they said they had tried to contact me by email and phone call, but apparently my email and phone number had both been taken down incorrectly.
I find this hard to believe since my contact details were read back out to me correctly at the time.
Overall a very poor and unorganised service

I went through the purchasing process of a property being sold by Ian Watkins Estate Agents and I was looking to purchase as quickly as possible. The small but highly experienced team have fantastic customer service and were great at keeping me informed on updates of the process. Due to working odd hours, I wasn't always contactable by phone. Other estate agents I spoke to insisted on trying to call me every time they wanted to speak to me but Ian and Suzanne were more than happy to oblige to my requests and work around my restrictions. I also got a brilliant care package from them when picking up the keys. I would happily purchase from them again, look to sell my property through them and recommend them to everyone. Ian Watkins Estate Agents have been dealing with the sale of my late father's bungalow for us - which has just completed. For various reasons the sale turned out to be quite a complicated and very drawn-out. I cannot recommend Ian Watkins Estate Agents and everyone who works there highly enough. Communication was excellent: we were always kept informed of what was going on and they were always super helpful, friendly and professional. They went 'above and beyond' on so many occasions to help solve the many problems that cropped up with the bungalow. My sisters and I don't live in Worthing so it was so useful that Ian and his team were able to sort out roofers, plumbers, locksmiths etc for all the various problems that arose. As the bungalow was empty they were also extremely helpful in popping round to take meter readings when necessary, making sure the heating was on in cold weather and checking that the bungalow was secure. I cannot recommend Ian Watkins Estate Agents strongly enough - they really are the best estate agents I have every dealt with.

We brought our new property through Ian Watkins Estate Agents and sold our old one as well. From our first meeting with Kirsty till the end date they were all absolutely brilliant, friendly and a delight to deal with. I have to give an extra shout out to Kirsty for her amazing performance when showing us around our new home and pretending to our children (at our request) that she pretend to be a friend of ours simply showing us her home so not to confuse them. Brilliant improv from Kirsty when she couldnt open the garage door. I dont intend on selling my home any time soon but if i do, id definitely use Ian Watkins Estate Agents again and highly recommend them. Thanks again guys

Outstanding! We purchased our house through Ian Watkins and I only wish we had sold through them too! Ian and his team were exceptional from start to finish! We had regular communication more so than from our own estate agents. Ian is clearly an expert in his field and guided us through the process, nothing was too much trouble for Ian and his team, they were always happy to help and advise. Ian and his team have helped us to purchase the property in the past. When we thought the time was right to move, we went back to them. They were very approachable and professional and shown a lot of patience during our sell as we were struggling to find the right property for us as the market was very difficult.
They've managed to find us a buyer within a week and didn't give up on us when it fell through.
Their market expertise is amazing.

From the outset of contact with Ian our selling and buying process was professional, honest and open. The whole team, including those that accompanied viewings and that we contacted via the office were friendly and approachable. Suzanne is responsible for liaising with solicitors and conveyances and remained helpful throughout what is often a stressful time... her humour in times of need was greatly appreciated. We were lucky enough to move prior to lockdown and hope that Ian’s business has not been damaged by the enforced closure. Maybe not as digitally impressive as others, Ian is a local agent, with good knowledge, providing an excellent service at a very competitive price. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Excellent service from Ian. Photos and property description of my bungalow prepared by Ian really did it justice and reflected the great property that it is. My preferences on the marketing were listened to and then enhanced by Ian's expert advice. Sale was agreed in a short timescale and completed wholly satisfactorily. A real 5 star service at a good fee.
