Our experience with J Lord from start to finish was exceptional! We had seen the property online and got in touch straight away with a viewing sorted for the following day. We made an offer and even though there were other interested parties, we were kept informed over the coming days about what was happening. Our offer was accepted and from that moment the service continued to be as efficient. We had weekly contact from Mollie who was progressing the sale and bringing together the other estate agents and solicitors in the chain. Although the chain was relatively small, it was still stressful for us but J Lord took alot of that stress away with their experience and professionalism. We were only purchasing through J Lord but I honestly don't think the completion would have happened as quickly as it did if it wasn't for them. Always available and always had the answer! Thank you for taking away some of the pain of buying a house and getting us in before Christmas!

I recently used J Lord & Co for the 2nd time and I have to say that the serviced I received on both occasions has been excellent.
On both occasions Jacqui did the property appraisal and valuation? She gave us lots of good advice and even challenged us on our expectation of what our selling price should be, and encourage us to have the confidence to go to market slightly higher than we had originally expected. On both occasions this resulted in us a better sale price for both properties.
Julie and Mollie are both wonderful at keeping you informed in relation to an interest in the property, and making the bookings for the viewings and always give prompt feedback afterwards.
Vicki was also excellent post sale in relation to liaison with both our buyer and their solicitor plus the developer of the new build property which we were buying.
At some point in the future, I’ll no doubt need to sell again and I will definitely head straight back for Jacqui and the team.

Since i hope they listen to reviews more than emails. I enquired about 1 property in my area this agent were marketing, they do not otherwise cover my area. I never signed up for any mailing list and have now asked 2-3 seperate times when being sent emails from Mollie Hill to remove me, she never responds and persists in sending me emails which are unsolicited and not subscribed for. Please stop clogging up my inbox. I have replied again today so hopefully, with this review as well, you will finally listen and take note for future. Very poor.

Selling in a falling market will never be easy, but Jaqui and her team delivered for me - albiet after some 15 months of searching for a buyer and a couple of sales falling through due to broken chains. Didn't get nearly as much as I had initially hoped, but as I said, it was a falling market. Communication was generally very good, and the only quibble I might have was with the advice regarding the preparation of the house for sale - I suspect it would might gone more quickly if I had left it furnished. However that was ultimately my decision, and is 20:20 hindsight.

The second sale was very protracted due to a succession of delays down the chain. Throughout, Julie and Mollie would respond quickly to our emails and chased the parties in the chain who sometimes proved difficult to contact.

I really can't rate J Lord highly enough. I put my house up for sale with them; they came round to value when they said they would, they took fantastic photographs - far better quality than other agents were taking - and did two days of viewings back to back. When, some weeks after accepting an offer we had to take the house off the market and withdraw, they were so supportive - even though they had spent time and money on our sale. When we re-listed the following year, they offered the same efficient and professional services and kept us informed every step of the way. Even when our onward property search fell through, they were patient and helpful and managed our buyer really well to keep the sale going.
I dealt with a number of other local agents while looking for another property, and the standard of customer service was seriously substandard in comparison. I couldn't believe so many were clearly taking photos on phones and using these to market properties; J Lord put real effort into the photographs and they showed the house off much better than anything I could have taken myself.
If you're looking to sell, don't hesitate to use them.

After unsuccessful marketing our house with two other agents, we decided to market with JLord after being impressed with their services when viewing other houses with them and it was far and away the best decision we could have made. The process was impeccable from start to finish, professional photos taken and every one of their team made the effort to come round to the house to get to know it prior to it going on the market.
We had plenty of viewings and three offers within 3-4 weeks, which we were delighted with. Outstanding. A tumultuous year of failed sales, not through my Estate Agents but Liz Truss and her mini budget and the rising rate of mortgages been a shock to many. I cannot praise this Company enough. The whole team are aware of your sales progress including fab girls in the office. However I have to praise Julie the wonder woman. Every offer she forensically went through the chain, estate agents and solicitors. I have moved quite a few times and this has been the most 'hands on team'. People often query Estate Agents charges, however I think Lords every penny. Yes it was traumatic and stressful but would have been so much more horrendous if I had not chosen Lords. One of my few brilliant decisions!! Especially as we in a strange climate regards house sales, if you want incredible attention to detail, professionalism, knowledge of the market, friendliness and scccess then go to this supercharged team. I initially dipped my toe in the water to sell my house in November 2021. Jacqui and Julie were excellent from the outset and had an offer lined up within 2 days. Due to missing out on the house I wanted to buy, I withdrew from the sale but went back to J Lord & Co 8 months later. They had another buyer lined up within 2 weeks. Throughout a period of 6 months they went above and beyond liaising with the chain, solicitors, mortgage advisers and a builder. Every time I contacted the office the other staff knew exactly where things were up to and gave me detailed updates. Julie in particular kept calm and held her nerve, even when things went wobbly part way through. I would definitely recommend J Lord & Co as professional, diligent and efficient estate agents. What some people might not realise when choosing an agent (and opting for a faceless online one) is that there is much more to it than simply finding you a buyer. We hit various snags during the process and could 100% rely on Julie, Jacqui and the rest of the team to fight our corner. Unlike other professionals involved in our chain, the J Lord team picked up the phone and got to the bottom of what was going on - they didn't just 'leave a message' or 'send an email', they persisted every time until we had an answer.

We purchased a house from J Lord and Co and felt nothing but utter satisfaction with the service, attention, updates and utter professionalism we experienced. They seamlessly worked with our chosen teams of surveyors, solicitors etc and would regularly call us with updates on the vendor's progress.
I know this seems strong but I would seriously not hesitate to return to J Lord and Co should we need to sell our beautiful house we just bought.

There were no pushy sales techniques in the show around which really helped us remain level heading on viewing and meant we could take our time. There were many frustrating bumps in the chain over the course of around 10 months, but J Lord were so good at communicating with us regularly, on behalf of the vendor, that it really put us at ease. We purchased a property through J Lord & Co and we had a great experience throughout the entire process. Buying and selling a house is really stressful, but Jacqui and her team do everything within their power to ease some of that stress and take some of the burden from you.
We were on a very tight schedule with a short time constraint to complete our purchase having previously been let down by a rival company on an alternative property purchase. From start to finish they simply couldn’t do enough to keep us moving in the right direction and on track. We were constantly kept us up to date with progress and keeping in touch was never an issue either by phone or email. Without hesitation and without me asking, they did their upmost to facilitate a smooth transaction and achieved everything we expected in record time. I found that the team often worked long hours and answered all my questions no matter how stupid some of my queries may have been. “When selling our house in Davenham, near Northwich, we thought it best to have 3 quotes from local Estate agents. All 3 were professional and polite, But Jacqui spent quite some time with me getting to know the property and what we wanted. As it turns out, the estimate that Jlords gave us was above the estimates of the other 2, but this was not the deciding factor, Jacqui and her team knew the local market very well and put more effort into showing the level of service they would provide.

When it came to placing our house in Hartford on the market back in June, there was never any question who we were going to instruct and our faith was fully justified. It wasn’t the easiest time to be buying and selling, at the height of the Covid crisis, but Jacqui and her excellent team were the consummate professionals from start to finish. From initial discussions with Jacqui over marketing, to preparing the particulars for which Rebecca provided some stunning photographs which showed our property in its best possible light, to arranging the first viewing a few days later it was all undertaken with seamless efficiency.
