Worse agacy ever I'm have. If something broken like water leak you raport wait more then 7 days to somebody answer you. Same if you have any problem you send email you wait 7 days to reply from them. When you call nobody answer you leave voice massage not call you back. They call you tell you incredible story you have dog in home but you don't have. Never again cooperate with that agecy

I spoke to a girl called Catie on the 10th of June about a property up for let, she said they weren’t doing viewings just yet due the property being currently occupied, she then proceeded to take my details and register them with the agency and I’d be contacted in due course to arrange a viewing. I found it strange that she said the property was currently occupied as on right move it said “available now” so I sent a follow up email later that same day for some clarification, no response, I sent another email this morning (the 19th) for an update to which again I had no replay, so I called them at the office this lunchtime and Catie happened to answer the phone. She said the emails I’d sent had gone through to the “office email” and that’s why they hadn’t been picked up, she offered no apology and just asked if I was free at 3 o’clock this afternoon. Even when questioned why nobody in the office is checking those emails and the fact that I’ve had to chase YOU up to arrange a viewing there was still no apology or accountability, just excuses and passing the buck. Having worked in retail management successfully for nearly 20 years I can tell you this isn’t how you treat customers or clients, not if you want your business to be successful anyway. May I suggest your staff receive some training on basic customer service.

My husband and I have been very impressed by James's diligence, efficiency, hard work and courtesy when selling our home for us. We were very happy that the buyers also then put their trust in James for selling their home, making the process smooth, and seamless with James 'at the helm' . He was then chasing three lots of solicitors , and other parties and certainly kept us up to date and informed with what we needed to know at every stage. (whilst professionally maintaining confidentiality for the other involved parties). James made himself available to answer any emails, texts and phone calls as needed, very quickly. Other Acquire staff were also on hand to help if occasionally needed, and messages between staff were passed on seamlessly. Overall, probably the best experience we have had with different Estate agents , over the years. We hope that the excellent service that we have received is noted by management. Thank you , James. STAY CLEAR! UNPROFESSIONAL AND LAZY! LIARS AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO AVOID COSTS! Worst experience I have ever had with a landlord. They lied about our tax band until we found out on signing tenancy, they sold us a faulty fridge that broke within days from the previous tenant with no reimbursement. The pictures you can see on the attachments are leaks reported and occurring from March 2022 that led to our ceiling to collapse in our kitchen. The work has still not been fixed nor the leak as of February 2023 and an environmental inspector from the council is now investigating them....

Total RIP OFF!!! Stay away as much as possible!!! Never expect your deposit back from this people because you will NEVER see it. For all out there considering this agency, let me tell you the truth!! They always will bring PROFFESIONAL CLEANING agency at the end (which YOU will pay for it) no matter how clean you leave the property. If you think you can clean yourself, they won’t look at it. You only have to proof with VAT receipt that you cleaned it. And the most important part, they hire the most expensive people out there to paint the walls after you leave. No matter if you do it yourself, just like the cleaning. And YOUUU PAY for that as well! £460 for painting 2 bed apartment! Total: £663! You will never receive your deposit back unless you hire somebody else yourself ( remember with proof) total rip off and a massive scam. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody out there!
Also I would like to add that I have loved in that property for 2 YEARS! Never missed a payment never caused an issue!
SHAME ON YOU!!!
PS: THEY PURCHASE IS EASY!!! when you leave you get the surprises!

Not only was James friendly and warm in his service, making us feel valued as clients, he was punctual and well organised when arranging viewings. He kept a constant line of communication with us on the progress of both viewings and offers. Additionally, James provided valuable expert industry advice on suitability and fairness of offers, and ultimately utilising his expert negotiating skills to achieve the best price on our behalf. He went above and beyond to achieve the best outcome possible.

We agreed viewing, it has been agreed 1week before, but 2 hours before viewing agency called it off, they told me they will come back to me with another date, but haven't heard from them since, no idea what to think about somebody if is not able attend appoitment and not able call back with some solution??

Avoid at all costs, numerous issues regarding locked out due to not being given a keycode, blatent disregard to tenenats and only care about keeping your deposit. Avoid and save yourselves heaps of trouble.

This agency is a court material. 87 St. James Road in Barton under Needwood, we were going for the property and agreed with the agent that the property would be deep cleaned by move-in-date after previous tenants (for 7 years) left the property just a day before our viewing date. We emphasised to the agent how important it was for us not to start our first day of tenancy with cleaning. The Inventory Report was provided to us 3 weeks later on the day of our move and the condition of the house appeared exactly the same as on our viewing appointment even though in the meantime the agent claimed to have postponed the move-in-date due to getting the house cleaned. Photos were dated 23 Oct, move in date was 24 Oct. Toilet still dirty, huge dead spider still there on the kitchen floor, rooms left untidy. We pulled out the minute we realised it had not been done for us and the conditions agreed were not met. The agent said they would not refund our holding deposit due to it being fees to cover referencing that had already been done. Referencing fees had been banned since 1 June 2019. The house has shown up again on Rightmove as available to rent now (27 Oct) not allowing any time for negotiation on the matter even though we had not come to any agreement on further proceedings and none of the below funds had been processed for refund. We have paid holding deposit, 1 month's rent + 8 days and a deposit equal to a month's rent. The agent was Britney Lewis. Overall, very poor care for customers, if at all. The branch manager has apparently been left in the dark about the whole of this matter and would not take responsibility. Britney referred to various team members as well as the landlord during our communication with her. She mentioned the accounts team, the director and the property manager (was that not herself?). She dreams of collecting holding deposits as a means of pocket money while neglecting potential tenants due to her misleading promises and agreements. Would not rent or buy through this agency even if the property was the dream property.

I have a rental property in which Acquire found me a tenant within 4 days of the let becoming available and now they manage for me with no issues.
Then recently I put a different property on the market and they sold it within 3 days at above the "offers over" price.
I have always found them professional and knowledgeable of both the rental and sales property markets.

As a Landlord who uses Aquire only as a Tenant Finder I have recently had an issue with a leaving Tenant.
I called on a Saturday morning speaking to Courtney Laud, who couldn't be more helpful. She asked if I could get to the Agency that morning should would assist me with my claim.
This she did, taking the burden away from me and making sure the claim was submitted on time. She is a credit to the Company.

From start to finish this agency is the worst I've come across, all there employees lie and back up landlords, many issues were reported 4 months still didn't get resolved, served a section 21 because we reported too many faults. Never gave us our £800 deposit back despite it being in a held account. Checking out report was faslely reported, made out we had done things in the property that we hadn't.
Was supposed to be managed agency yet we had landlord contacting us coming round the house we rented, we spent lots of extra money on fixing the property yet we were treated with the most disrespect. Avoid renting from this agency. Especially avoid dealing with there manager James who never returns emails or calls and that goes for their employee Courtney, who was the person who made up the lies about us as tenants. Just to say I've never come across someone who appears friendly in your face but lies behind your back, hopefully you'll get your coumpance one day.

Take your money for holding fee. Fail your application because apparently you have a CCJ? Told I wouldn’t be able to private rent at all. Funnily enough I’ve rented through another agency, exact same credit referencing agency and no CCJ has appeared. Complete scam AVOID.

Avoid renting from Acquire they will keep your deposit by any means necessary. Should you be in a property already I would suggest photographing everything to avoid exaggerated claims against your deposit

If I could leave no stars I would! They are robbing crooks that are just after your money, we moved into one of their new build properties and when we moved out they were very rude taking off pretty much all the deposit for wear and tear in a house claiming they wanted it exactly how we moved into the property taking money off for a piece of cello tape on a light and the grass needing to be cut! It’s an absolute joke and need to be shut down!!!

We bought the property through Acquire and decided to sell through them recently ... good move! The Boss came out to value the property ... and when I asked his advice on things to do in readiness he suggested emptying the house , a deep clean and some internal and external redecoration . A few weeks later and we asked Ellie to put the house on the market. She was friendly , professional and an excellent communicator. A few weeks later and we accepted an offer ... and the sale completed last week. What a Fast and stress free experience ! Thanks Acquire ! We will come to you again in the future! One of the worst estate agent in the town no way some one can trust them i had 6 month contract with them when i had massive leakage in the house they didnt even bother to come and fix it always ready to take money from u but never try to help out when u need them. Big bunch of liars works there. I would just say avoid them at any cost

If I could choose a rating below 'Poor - Fair' I would without hesitation. I phoned their Burton office to arrange a viewing for a flat. I was advised if I could make it there for 5:15pm someone would be able to show us around.
I left work early in order to make the appointment on time. I unfortunately arrived five minutes late. However, I also managed to arrive five minutes before their agent did. We're not off to a great start then,
With that small and forgivable hiccup out of the way we proceeded to the flat in question. I was told on the phone earlier that day that the apartment was currently being let, but the rental period was due to lapse. Therefore viewings would be arranged around the tenant. Absolutely fine.
When he knocked the door though, the resident knew nothing about the appointment and was in fact in the middle of a conference call. We were quite curtly asked to leave. I don't blame her at all. At this point I'm feeling very confused and very let down. I've driven 35 minutes and they can't even manage to organise an appointment for me? Did nobody think to ring and confirm?
I was feeling bad for their rep at this point, but that's not to say I was feeling forgiving or OK with the situation. As if things couldn't get any worse at this point as we stood out in the cold at a loss, he proceeded to plan B after a quick phone call.
He produced a key and let himself into the adjacent apartment. I assumed this was a free property and was similar in design to the one we should have been led around. But no! That flat was in fact occupied by a young family in the middle of their dinner! Again he was asked to leave and there was no chance of us viewing their apartment (can you blame them!).
The sheer incompetency and gall of this letting agency shone through in full force here. A wasted hour in the car, a waste of petrol and all they could offer was a red face and apology.
One to be avoided at all costs.
