Jessica went over and above to ensure everyone in the chain was ready for completion, which definitely helped reduce the stress levels!
7th May 2025 (10 mo. ago)They’ve moved to a dingy cottage on Upper St John Street, and told no-one, not even their head office knows where they’ve gone, and gave me the Bore Street address when I phoned to ask where they’ve gone. Gives the distinct impression that they’re cutting costs and on the verge of going under.
17th Mar 2026 (1 day ago)I had a really great experience with Bagshaws Residential Mickleover, especially working with Richard Gulley. From start to finish, Richard made the whole process feel incredibly easy and stress-free. I didn’t have much prior knowledge about how mortgages work, whereas my wife (who is a conveyancer) already understood a lot—but Richard still took the time to explain everything clearly to me and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. He answered all of my questions and concerns without hesitation and really went above and beyond to make what could have been a daunting experience feel simple and straightforward. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Richard enough—I’ll definitely be pointing any friends and family his way if they’re looking for a mortgage advisor!

They have been so instrumental in my settling into Derby that I now relate with them as ‘family’. I will gladly and unreservedly recommend them over and beyond to anyone seeking a reputable letting agency. A huge relief and a huge thank you too to Heather and her colleagues at Bagshaws Estate Agents. I am not from the area but have bought and sold many properties over the years with varying success. Bagshaws I can confidently say are one of the best estate agencies I have dealt with. Extremely professional, helpful and nothing too much trouble. I would certainly recommend to anyone in this area of Staffordshire. Thank you again.

Their eagerness to sell our property, attitude and communication were top notch - and a special mention to Bethany. Whether you are buying a property through them, or they are finding a tenant for your property, they have always been easy to work with, good at communication and often going the extra step to insure everything goes smoothly.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional and every single person on the team we interacted with were highly responsive, approachable and professional. Their concept to selling houses is transparent, the app they use to track the sale and purchase of properties was intuitive and the team made the whole experience hassle free and straight forward. Have already recommended them to friends and would not hesitate to use Bayzos again. I wish the team all the success for the future.
