I have been a tenant for three years of the property with the agency, even though they changed their name and we left with amazing clean and very good quality clean. They try to take all our deposit with out clarifications. I don't suggest tenants use this agency and even their response for maintenance is very bad.

DO NOT RENT HERE.<br><br>They are terrible. They will take your deposit, they will ignore requests to remove mold and fix anything. They will. Also ignore an entire side of the building rotting and falling. No rebranding can fix what this company will do to scam students.<br><br>This is a nightmare agency, you will have mold and you will have mushrooms.<br><br>Pictures from my experience are attached.<br><br>Edit:<br><br>Sorry let me add the ones form inside the property. Also, we fought for the deposit, you are purse snatchers.<br><br>What stokes the review is a year of living with mold and mushrooms, with no compensation or admittance of fault. I should've uploaded all this sooner so no one else experiences the same thing.

Karl, the Property Sales Manager has been my contact over the last few months, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the property industry, which is extremely helpful if you’re new to either buying, selling or both!<br>I have found Karl to be very helpful and he is happy to answer any questions you may have when it comes to selling or buying a property.<br>I find Karl to be transparent along the sales process and tries to manage expectations along the way, which is quite refreshing. I had arranged a viewing for the property today and travelled from London specifically for the appointment. Unfortunately, there was some confusion regarding the viewing time, and I initially thought I wouldn’t be able to see the property at all.<br><br>However, Michael was absolutely brilliant. He came from home to meet me and personally took me to the property so I could view it. He was extremely helpful, professional, and understanding of the situation. He took the time to show me everything and explained all the details clearly and thoroughly, answering all of my questions.<br><br>I really appreciate Michael going out of his way to help me, especially after I had travelled all the way from London. He genuinely made a difficult situation much easier, and I cannot thank him enough for his effort and professionalism.<br><br>Michael is a credit to the team, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone dealing with the agency. Maintenance and communication have been consistently poor for over a year. Simple repairs drag on for months, often needing repeated chasing just to get a reply — sometimes the same photos have to be sent multiple times before anyone acts. Issues marked "urgent" aren't treated that way in practice: a broken bed frame reported as a safety concern was met with a suggestion to fix it myself rather than any real repair or interim support. When you push back on delays, the focus shifts to your tone rather than the actual problem. Expect to chase every repair yourself.<br>Moreover they are quite quick to chase you in a particular tone to delete reviews

Firstly not all bad, The staff were great<br>Communication was completely fine and helped me extend my contract for my completion on my mortgage thank you Kate who dealt with this she was very useful and kind. Although I can’t say this about the whole company I completely understand the inspections but it was every few weeks they wanted an inspection not all of us were at the uni I had a full time job and so did my partner, I did not feel comfortable with people constantly coming into the property with my kitten and all my belongings at all I had to keep taking time off for this and it became frustrating keep explaining my situation. I remember a few times we had arranged for someone to come to property one time was for an inspection and another was for a viewing as I was moving absolutely nobody showed. When I first moved in the flat was filthy and they have claimed it was clean and carpets were “clean” no they weren’t they had stains all over them they look like they’ve never been replaced (oil stains, marks in the draws, cuboard stains , even other people’s belongings just left there) I didn’t have a great experience with them whatsoever. One of the staff emailed me and told me “I seem to never pick up the phone” because I’m at work?<br>They always wanted something every few weeks and it became frustrating.<br>Please avoid this company at all costs.

A couple of months ago I came in here looking to speak to somebody about a property. Whilst I was waiting to be seen, another group of customers came in with a female member of staff, presumably from a visit or something. Then when those customers had left, the member of staff, joked and laughed about those customers to one of their colleagues.<br><br>My own experience was satisfactory, but who knows what was said after I left. I think it's pretty disrespectful to be making jokes about customers at the best of times, but at least keep that behind closed doors or after work. Doing that in front of other customers shows quite a concerning level of ignorance.<br><br>Finally sorted a property, hence not posting this sooner, but a hugely disappointing experience with Keystones.

My experience applying for a property through Keystones involved a few administrative challenges along the way, including some confusion around holding deposit paperwork and delays that were outside anyone's control. However, I want to specifically highlight Michael, who was consistently professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to resolve issues quickly, communicated clearly, and made a stressful situation much easier to deal with. Title: My Experience with Keystones<br><br>I rarely leave negative reviews, but after my experience with Keystones I feel it's important to warn other tenants.<br><br>After Keystones took over the management of my tenancy, the level of service deteriorated significantly. Throughout my tenancy I experienced repeated issues with repairs, poor communication and unnecessary stress. Problems such as damp, maintenance concerns and other property defects were reported on multiple occasions but were either delayed or not properly addressed.<br><br>What I found most disappointing was the way I was treated as a tenant. There were repeated demands for payment and unnecessary contact with my guarantor, despite ongoing discussions about my account. Rather than working with me to resolve issues fairly, I felt I was constantly having to defend myself.<br><br>At the end of the tenancy, the check-out process was equally frustrating. Minor issues such as cobwebs and dust were raised despite the property being thoroughly cleaned before I returned the keys. Some of the matters they attempted to attribute to me, including carpet staining near the fireplace and marks caused by long-standing damp, had already been reported during my tenancy. It felt as though they were looking for reasons to justify deductions rather than assessing the property fairly and objectively.<br><br>Overall, my experience with Keystones was stressful, disappointing and far below the standard I would expect from a professional letting agent. I cannot recommend them based on how my tenancy was managed and how I was treated throughout the process.
