Kimmit & Roberts has on our street few houses on sale in their offer. Our house was 3 bed end terraced townhouse listed for £220k and our neighbours house is detached house listed for £229k. Due to our family and working arrangements our free time as family is very precious to us. On Friday, we got a call from agency to book the viewing. We agreed viewing for Sunday 11.30. I woke up early in the morning to clean the entire house and I asked my husband to take kids out to prepare calm viewing environment. On Sunday at 1130 - we got “no show”. On Monday morning my neighbour informed me that people were knocking on their door to view the house. I called the agency about the mix up and was told that they verify houses by the price and it was correct. They said they would find out what happened and call me back. They NEVER called me back - they called the neighbours to book viewing with them. Therefore, we decided to lose £60 we paid for verification and pull the house out of the market with Kimmit & Roberts.... Read more

Awful experience with this company. Had a viewing of a house, member of staff was late. i was not shown round at all, felt rushed and very rude uninterested staff member. Mad an offer and still have had no reply, had to chase myself twice and told numerous times they would get back to me and still nothing. Would not recommend this estate agent. The worst. Avoid. Made an appointment to view a property and the agent left before we arrived and we had travelled an hour to get there. They had allowed us 5 minutes to view! Registered a formal complaint via their website. Several weeks later the female manager rang to say the staff involved had left, did I still want to complain!! Shambolic, avoid!!! To reply to the business as below it was a property in Tenth Street, Seaham and it was the lady manager who I dealt with. It was sometime ago. I can't remember the manager's name. I waited a longtime for a response to my complaint. I never received an apology, either on the day when I was outside the house waiting or when she called me weeks later in response to my complaint. All she said was it must have a whole ago as the staff member had left to go onto maternity leave! Very poor. I was very angry!! I don't wish to waste anymore of my time.... Read more
