They find excellent tennants manage the properties, they communicate everything to me that I need to know and bother me with things I don't. There fees are excellent for work they do. I have bought two houses with Kings estate agents after been a tenant, they have helped me greatly! The team responded to my requests within a reasonable time frame and will go above and beyond to help. The team are professional and have a huge span of knowledge on the things I required. Ive given one star because I have to in order to leave a review. I contacted kings this morning via phone, the woman on the phone didn't seem to have a clue what she was doing, didn't know answers to any of my questions, so I thought I'll contact via Facebook got a reply asking to forward my number on I did and no one bothered to call me back, first impressions count and this certainly has, if this is the service they give I can only imagine how they manage their properties, this relates to the lettings team. disgusted. Follow on from the owners reply - I was told I would be contacted an no one bothered to do so not even to advise me u were so called looking into this, don't try and dress this up, I called earlie in morning as well and the person who answered didn't seem to have a clue what she was doing on the most simplest of questions, and found her tone to be as though she couldn't be bothered, its not at all unjust this is the kings estate agents review regardless if it is selling or lettings, if you have an individual page for lettings ill happily move the review to that page otherwise this review is valid to my experience weather it be liked or not this is what reviews are for.... Great Service and expert Advise!!!! After a long period of advertising my property with another Estate Agent with very little viewings and numerous timewasters I made the decision to swap to Kings Estate agents. This was the best decision I could of ever made. They sold my property very quickly and only allowed people who were in a position to buy to do viewings. The office staff were very professional, always responded to my emails, calls and offered expert advise when needed on the processes involved. The marketing material they used included better pictures, drawings and a video which some estate agents don't offer. I am very impressed with there professionalism and commitment to drive things forward in such challenging times. Price agreed with the owners of 113 Castle Road Redcar. Bungalow taken off the market over 2 weeks ago. Survey completed. Which kings told me to email to them. I wonder why ? Phone call yesterday off Kings on the 10 11 2020 to say another party have put in a better offer. Kings say they had previously viewed the bungalow 3 weeks to a month ago like I did & have came back with a better offer. Hard to believe. Who's to know this was not a new offer ? Very unprofessional & a sneaky trick by the owners. I refuse to up my offer because do not think bungalow is worth it. Lots to do in this bugalow & probably overpriced anyway. Told all my colleagues which I have many. They are all discusted at Kings & would never use them now. So Kings have a very bad name. Some more bad reports on here also i notice. NO SURPRISE HERE. I have had to put 1 star to write a review. Really its minus 100 STARS. No stars here. Avoid Kings estate agents like CORONA VIRUS & THE PLAGUE . KEEP YOUR DISTANCE 2000 METRES AT LEAST. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL FIRM. AVOID. AVOID. .AVOID. Kings have made a response but they have had to. This to make them look good on here . I don't believe the tail. Many others don not either. I am absolutely disappointed on everything from the start To start with i gave them a call starting this week and got an appointment(even if i didnt like his attitude over the phone-very bored) The appointment what he made me was for Thursday at 15:30 pm I got a phone call to confirm appointment on Thursday about 12 ish At 15:14 min(16 min before appointment) he rang me and saud that someone has paid deposit this morning and is not available anymore Now question:how is it possible to ask me to confirm the appointment at 12 ish and 3 hours later to tell me someone had paid deposit this morning??(means before he asked me to confirm?) After a bad experience with a previous estate agent and feeling very negative about the sale of my property, I decided to go with Kings, this was driven by an excellent review from my parents. Straight away I was reassured and given confidence that my house was worth what I was asking. I was given professional / rational advice on how to act on the sale. To my surprise (after being up for sale for 4 months with a previous agent) it was sold after 2 days and received the asking price. Great result. I cannot rate the service from Kings enough. Constant feedback on each stage of the sale. I had total trust in Andy (the agent). I have to give him merit for being such a kind and genuine person.... Read more

This is the third time I’ve used kings estate agent, to buy a house. If you like long standing local family businesses , run by a family that treats you like family then I’d recommend. Great knowledge of local solicitors, and can really help you get the ball moving, with them if you need things done snappy. Quite possibly the worst Estate Agency in the UK. Having dealt with multiple agencies as both buyer and seller, I can quite honestly state that this must be the worst. When an agent or staff within the agency tells repeated lies; 1 Buyer is a cash buyer, yet he is refinancing a property to make the purchase. 2 He has his re-mortgage but is waiting for the cheque from the company. 3 He is going into his solicitor to exchange contracts but has not given the solicitor funds to do so. 4 Agency staff advise us that the client had exchanged contracts, our solicitor confirmed otherwise. 5 Contracts due to exchange two days later, buyer does not instruct solicitor to do so. 6 We instructed another agent as we assumed the sale was going to fall through, Kings called them and advised them that the property transaction had completed 5 days before it did. 7 Contracts exchanged and completed on same day, a surprise to say the least. The agent (Andy King) did not keep us informed, lied or misinformed us on numerous occasions, his staff lied to us and another agent. You could not have a proper conversation with him, as he tried to talk over you or avoid your call. Do your research and you will find more professional agencies. My top tip would be to avoid this one like the plague. Harsh but fair.... Read more

If I was selling my house I would expect 7 day service. We are looking for a house in the Redcar area and had 2 we wanted to look at on their books. When I enquired if we could see them either Saturday or Sunday I was told 'We dont do weekends. As I work over 50 miles away it would be nearly impossible to travel after work & weekends are the only time we & I suspect 90% of the population can have the time to do anything. Maybe should pull their socks up.... Read more
