Having a house with langdales estate and letting has been a nightmare of my life not only did they promise me things that never went through they made me pay for rat infestation problems never sent no one out for fixtures and when they did it was bodge jobs everywhere absolutely disgusting. Ceiling was falling through lucky it never while I was there after I reported it constantly which I have proof for. Had to watch my home turn worse beach’s I refused to have to do everything with estate agents who were ignorant untill paying rent... Read more

The state of the house we rented was devastating, we both had complete mental breakdowns. Rats, sewerage, mould, exposed electrics, doors wouldn't close, chimney pot actually fell through our van windscreen and could have killed someone - they denied it was from our house! They lied a lot and took months to sort anything (most things didn't ever get sorted). They seemed lovely people when we first moved in but it didn't last. I was physically sick and crying most the time I was at this property run by Langdales. I've rented for 17 years and never ever experienced anything this bad. 5 star reviews are fakes.... Read more

DON'T EVER USE! They don't care about you, 8 months for a new window in a grotty mouldy house and oh NEVER expect your bond back. They come up with bs to make sure you won't get it back. They just don't care even if you have disabilities. I wanted to end it in a house I rented off of them! Take heed with this review.... They need to be SHUT DOWN!... Read more

Worst estate agents in the northeast i wouldn't recommend to anyone once they get the rent of you they don't give a ****! (2 year tenancy)they don't do any repairs to the house at all to the point where we have been advised to find another property as this one is unsafe to live in, we changed bank accounts and forget to set a standing order up and the rent got missed by 1 day they were out the day after to claim it and all I can say about their approach is unprofessional and harassment... rent a property off them at your own risk, 3 months through the winter with no boiler/heating because they would pay £70 for the part to repair it, the bathroom radiator had a leak they just removed the radiator and capped it off... sons bedroom has that bad of a leak from the roof we have had to move him out of the room that was reported 2 month ago and they still havnt sent anyone out, multiple health care professionals have been out to assess the house and all have similar reports stating this house is unsafe even more so for children and as soon as we have a new property available we will be leaving... Worst estate agents, sorry - worst human beings ever. Desperate liars who take advantage of tenants in bad situations. I don't know how they live with themselves. They rent out properties that are rat ridden, water damaged trash. Don't trust it even if it looks ok upon viewing. And they're in alliance with horrible landlords. They actually laugh at your problems when you contact them. Please, for your own well-being, for anyone you love - don't ever rent or buy from these criminals.... Read more

Worst estate agents in the north east. Problems from day one, no communication unless we bothered to ring them, the manager Scott has the worst attitude over the phone, the landlord of the Bearpark property DH7 7TE should get rid of these as they’re absolutely useless. We waited 8 plus weeks to move into the property and had money coming out of our banks for gas and electricity through the third party company they use “vouch” - avoid 11 hartside view and any other properties these have advertised, we are currently moving into a property on Monday that’s the exact same but cheaper that we viewed yesterday, cowboy of an estate agents.... Absolute terrible letting agents the worst you can get get. If I could give a minus score I would, rented a property off them for nearly 4 years. Rent was payed up to date until we starting having problems needed repairs done and guess what nothing ever happened. I got the same excuse every time someone will be out, we will send it to the landlord. We had damp in the porch from moving in windows cracked in the back room which was wrote down on viewing and told it would be replaced and nothing ever did, two holes in the roof which never got fixed light fixing that were so old and corroded that they wouldn’t hold a light bulb. The list is endless and nothing ever got done all they are after is the money and not doing any repairs. Avoid at all costs!... Read more

If i could give a minus score i would, live next door to a property they are letting agent for, young family cant get repairs done,fence blew down during November storm, still waiting for repair, staff lie saying quotes for repair were in.....they were not, and when i have contacted them myself to enquire about completion of repair i was lied to they gave dates for repair to start and still waiting, total shambles of a company...
