Oliver was a pleasure to work with. As we were purchasing a house he was trusted to sell on behalf of another couple we never actually paid for Oliver's services. However that didn't matter, he was still treating us like he would his clients. Nothing was to much trouble, he would often be on phone calls with us way past 5pm on a a Friday and sending us emails on a weekend to keep us updated. The whole service felt very personal to Oliver and you could see he has real passion for selling houses. We sold our house with Lawrenson Ball recently and it has been the smoothest process possible. We chose them after viewing a house that they were selling and Oliver’s friendly manner and his knowledge of that property and his selling of the house was literally lightyears ahead of any other agent we’d viewed houses with, so it was an absolute no brainer that we would use him to sell ours. He got our house sold within a week and was able to give us really solid advice around that whole process. He’s really responsive and proactive with communication and nothing has been too much trouble and he’s been able to answer any questions we had about the whole process of selling a house They are a smaller business and because of that they know who you are and which one is your house when you get in touch, so you get a really personalised service. I both bought and sold a house with Lawrenson Ball and couldn't fault them. From start to finish both Oliver and Nicky were amazing. For our sale, I knew I wanted to go with them because of their communication and incredible flexibility. So many times as a full time working buyer you just cannot get viewings, that is never the case with Lawrenson Ball because they're so flexible and accommodating. I've struggled to find the right words to express my gratitude and wonder at the service and support Oliver delivered during the sale of my late Mum’s home. Excellent in short but he was much more than that. Oliver gets that selling a house can be more emotional in some situations than others. He treated my sister and I sensitively and took the stress out of what was a difficult situation for us. The marketing of the property was amazing with excellent images, a walk through and a floor plan all included in the fee. This definitely led to the high interest we had in the property. Oliver is flexible, he handled a number of viewings on the property at weekends and evenings so no potential buyers were missed. I also felt reassured that at each viewing Oliver would be presenting the house and the area in the best way to potential buyers. Once we had an offer, Oliver worked hard to ensure the sale was completed. He gave us regular updates and kept all parties informed to keep things moving. We faced some delays and without Oliver’s advice and reassurance this would have blown my blood pressure. I’ve found myself telling people if they want to sell their house they have to use Lawrenson Ball - even if they aren’t thinking of selling for years! I can’t thank Oliver enough for everything he did, his support, advice, expertise, communication and finding us a buyer, who we hope, will be as happy as we were in our family home.... Read more

These chaps are absolutely excellent! We have just completed on our house sale today and I can honestly say they have been the most honest, genuine and proficient estate agents I have ever come across! They are super responsive and have made the whole house selling process as stress-free as it can be. We had some small set backs along the way, but Nicky and Ollie helped us manage all situations which came up with great professionalism and kept us cool, calm and collected. Selling a beloved family home, somewhere you have lived for almost a decade (and brought home 2 babies in!) can be very emotional and stressful, and having Ollie and Nicky assist with the process made everything more than manageable. As they rightly claim on their website, they are down to earth and easy to talk to, and their combined experience shows in their highly professional and organised approach. What can we say - extremely patient and professional throughout. We sold our house in May ‘23 before our buyer then dropped out due to issues at their end of the chain. But before we knew it, Ollie and Nicky had it sold again in June ‘23 at the asking price. The ‘patience’ aspect is that it wasn’t until March ‘24 that we found the house we’ve just moved into (Aug ‘24) and during all that time, they kept our buyer engaged and informed and critically, still keen to buy. Can't speak highly enough of Oliver and Lawrenson Ball! When we viewed a house we loved we hadn't got ours on the market but made an offer. The seller understandably wouldn't progress with us as we hadn't got ours up for sale. Oliver valued our house on a Sunday, arranged for the superb pictures to be taken on Thursday and our house was up on Rightmove by 6pm on Friday night! We were away that weekend but by Saturday morning Oliver had arranged 7 viewings and showed them round the house himself that weekend. By Monday we had 5 offers! Throughout the process Oliver was on hand to offer advice, information and updates and always responded very quickly. Even when we had a nightmare of a moving day, Oliver even offered to help move some boxes! I’ve had a great experience with Oliver, again, this is the 2nd house he’s sold for me! After trying other very well known agencies, I came across the LB website and once I realised it was Oliver then I knew this time would be different.The difference I think is the personal touch, no having to deal with different people and the flexibility so people could view our house in the evening and weekends.
