I was booked in for viewings of 2 flat a couple of weeks ago, I took time off from work to go to the building and we couldn’t get in as they had the wrong keys. Got booked the next day for viewings with a different agent and after seeing the flats I asked about the process to put submit an offer and the agent said over the phone, he took my number and said that he will call me at the end of the day. It has been 2 weeks and haven’t heard anything from him.

Paul is disgusting and they are liars! Told me they had the keys and then the day of collection no keys! I asked for the EPH box they hang up and the actual partners straight away was able to assist and ask the previous owners! Hope one of your siblings, mother or farther feel some karma for your nasty behaviour and disgusting customer service and the problems you cause people!

After working in the industry myself for 5 years I have a good understanding of how an estate agency should operate and this is the poorest outfit I have ever come across, at the start of the tenancy they left us without an oven for 35 days and basically just fobbed it off as the landlord and tradesman's fault which in turn cost us an arm and leg in food after we had just jumped through hoops to pay 6 months rent upfront to secure the flat, we then had an awful leak at Christmas which was still not fixed in the middle of March (this is a health risk as well as a nightmare to live with, the whole hallway was soaked). Then the boiler exploded on the 18th of April while I was visiting home, the agents failed to notify me that this had happened even though they knew and I only discovered this when i returned 2 days later to the whole flat flooded, the agents also lied about calling myself and my flatmate we even sent them our call logs and they just fobbed it off... i honestly cant even put into words how unprofessional and poor this company has been throughout our tenancy and to top it off they have now tried to charge us £1000 of our deposit to replace a single mid spec carpet for a small mark which was caused accidentally. This is complete betterment. The flat was uninhabitable due to the leak and we were unable to live there for 18 days of which we have not received our rent or any compensation back for, we are both busy people who have tried to be fair and liase with the agents on numerous occasions but trying to speak to them is like talking to a brick wall. I am now going to have to waste more time taking legal action to sort this out due to the agents incompetency to deal with it themselves.
After nearly 2 months of waiting for my deposit to be returned mid cost of living crisis the deposit has finally been returned, Liberty Gate or Leaders whatever you are called, you are the single worst agency i have ever dealt with. The fact I have still been robbed of £185 'cleaning charge' when I wasn't even able to live in the flat due to flooding for the final 18 days of the tenancy is absolutely disgusting. The landlord still owes me 18 days rent but this agency have just completed fobbed me off since i moved out as unless there is money involved for them they could not care less.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Absolutely awful agency – avoid at all costs. From day one, this agency was unprofessional: left me waiting 30 mins for my key, Joelle failed to mention the NDO had a monthly fee, and their “all bills included” contract turned out to be a “mistake” that cost me a large sum I’m still owed. Ellie conveniently left right when she was supposed to update me on my reimbursement, and Charlie Smith even hinted at ending my tenancy early – effectively trying to kick me out and not own up to their mistake. Dishonest, disorganised, and utterly untrustworthy.

I rarely take the time to leave reviews but it felt particularly important to me to make the effort to leave a review for Alexandra and her team at leaders. Having previous experience, I know just how brutal the renting market can be in Nottingham, but Alexandra made the effort to understand what I was looking for and I felt she genuinely wanted to help rather than just tick a box. From dealing with more agencies than I can count on my hands, Alexandra at Leaders was by far the most genuinely interested in what I wanted in a property. I received multiple courtesy calls before my viewing so I knew exactly where I was going and what was going to happen, which is really valuable when you are going through the process of a lot of house viewings. If you want someone to manage your property then DO NOT choose leaders. They are unprofessional and incompetent from the rental team to the sales team. They took months to sort out simple tasks that required me to chase them. They added stress and added to my work load when I delegated to them to make my life easier. I would not use them again or recommend to any family or friend member.

If you're looking for an agent who’s efficient, down to earth, and won’t vanish the moment you sign, Alexandra’s the one. Highly recommended. If renting were an Olympic sport, Alexandra would’ve taken gold and probably still had time to help the silver medallist with their paperwork. Above all, Alexandra made the whole process feel easy which, let’s be honest, is not something most people say about moving house. She’s professional, approachable, and has a great sense of humour although she doesn't reply to her Instagram dms.

Very detailed explanation by Owen who showed me around the flat that I ended up renting in Nottingham. Definitely put our mind at ease. The flat was also very clean and presented well. The only issue we had was with the referencing as this was quite long winded and did leave things until the very last minute to have us collect the keys. This being said, we viewed on the Friday and it was bank holiday on the Monday so just bare this in mind.

Absolutely appalling. If you're a landlord I would avoid at all costs.
I have been using their rent collect service for 3 years. They have tried to sneak on additional charges to my statements, not once but twice. They are terrible at finding tenants. They told me they had secured a tenant and on the day she was moving in, told me she didn't pass her referencing, but still strong armed me into letting her move in, 6 months later she couldn't pay rent and had to move out. After that they didn't find me another tenant and left the room empty for 5 months, until I finally decided to take my business elsewhere. Oh and when you do try to leave they squeeze you for all the money they can.

I think it was a big mistake with the leaders no deposit options, after a year of no repairs and not responding to any complaints well maintained now I moved out the are sending a mail for me to make some payments of about £2000 when nothing was damaged in the house telling me I have signed. Please be very careful with leaders housing agents after £40+ additional every month for what please . I was advised to take it to Nottingham city council to look into it with all the evidence sent to then and nothing was done all , please be careful of leaders housing agencies

Do not let a property with this company i have had nothing but problems from the day I paid the fees to move in to now nearly 2 and a half years later and I'm still having troubles the property has repairs that I reported when I moved in that still haven't been fixed and paperwork is a nightmare with them, they never have an answer to questions they should be able to answer and thats if they answer the phone.

AVOID. I'm not one for leaving reviews but this service is so laughable it's got to be done. The agency has owed myself and my housemates £525 each for 3 months now, any efforts at communication is ignored. I'm not sure as to why they're so desperate to hold onto our £4,000 for so long but it shows a lot about the company. Don't be fooled by the high rating, they practically beg you to rate 5 stars when you're in the office.
Right from the beginning of the process it has been shambolic, the day before our move-in date we were told to wait another week as the property wasn't ready and they hadn't bothered to write up the tenancy agreement yet.
Upon arrival the property was still a state, The garden was full of broken chairs, car tyres and stolen road signs, recycling bin was already full. construction material left in the hallways and random sets of draws sat in the hallway waiting to be taken away. We left the property in a far better state than we found it yet were still charged a £75 cleaning fee and £35 removal fee for the same waste left by the previous tenants.
I could continue to list of issues, personally I would recommend staying clear.
I am not expecting this to get resolved any time soon and I'm sure my review won't lead anywhere, possibly get the same careless copy & pasted response all the other reviews have received.

Unorganised, unreliable, lack communication skills and very unprofessional.
They give flimsy excuses after you have paid your rent and waiting on them to give you keys.
E.g they will say they are waiting on landlord to sign paperwork or waiting for cleaners to clean the property.
Worse letting agency in Nottingham.
Better read your tenancy agreement because they will include clause in it.

AVOID AT ALL COST FOR YOUR OWN SAKE.
I am genuinely and utterly shocked by the poor standard services we experienced from this agency. I must say I have never dealt with an agency of this low standard before. I advise anyone who want to stay sane and not waste their money to avoid it at all cost.
I will write what we were subjected to by them and you can judge for yourself. My nephew and niece (I am their guarantor as they are still students) were told that they were chosen by the landlady for an apartment in Nottingham and promised the moving date to be on the 7th of October. We received a call saying that the date has been changed as they cannot facilitate with moving in during the weekends and changed it to the 9th of October. They have contacted us after this date just to say that the landlady decided to extend her previous tenant stay for the 19th of October (keep in mind, she did not even discuss it with us beforehand or offered a single word of apology). We were told by the agency that the tenant will be definitely moving on the weekends before the 19th of October so they can arrange for the electricity check and organise everything.
The 19th came by, my niece went to them in person just to be told that the property failed the electricity check (on literally the same day without giving us any heads up) and that the moving date will be extended to the 30th of October and were giving some useless excuses saying the tenant kept pushing the date of the key collection till the 18th of October (did not bother to contact or push the landlord in anyway). We were furious but did not have much option because we have already invested so much time on it. The 30th of October came by, we kept calling them but they kept informing us that the person in charge of the property will be in contact with us later and that did not happen at all. We had to go in person and after multiple confrontations and asking to meet the manager (which they never allowed us to), we were told we will be given the key on the 31st of October but the apartment would have not been cleaned as they have only reserved the cleaning agency for the 1st of November. We took the key on the 31st from them and guess what, the key did not work and did not fit the lock at all. We were not even sure at that point whether we were given the wrong key or not but I sent them a long email complaining about their services.
Today (the 1st of November), we picked up the correct key and the apartment was in absolute shocking state. Not just from the cleaning perspective, so many stuff were left behind from the previous tenant (keep in mind, they had all the time from the 19th of October till the 31st of October but did not bother to do a thing about it). Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional services and I would definitely discourage anyone from using their services (I might genuinely speak to a solicitor for an advice because I definitely believe that we were taken advantage of). I wish I could rate them a 0 star but unfortunately this does not work with Google review.

I went onto Leaders website had a few phone calls with CJ he was extremely helpful and proactive, he managed to get me in for a viewing around my work hours. He helped me fill out an application on the spot. Answered all my questions Definitely the easiest and quickest letting agency i’ve dealt with. Thank you for your help, can’t recommend him enough. We tried to rent with them! Cancelled our viewing 15 minutes before it was supposed to take place.
2nd time they didn't have the right keys to enter the property, so we returned without viewing.
3rd time booked a viewing and it got moved again. This one got also cancelled.
Called on the day that a property was placed online, and were told they do not take viewings yet but would let us know if they did. After 4 Days WE call and they just mention the let is agreed.
When viewing other properties they were not able to answer our questions but promised to get back to us. They never did.
Promised to let us know if they have more viewings fitting to us.
They never did.
Really disappointed.

I am so happy I have moved elsewhere, the 6 months with leaders as my letting agents were awful. Emails and calls ignored constantly, problems with the flat were never fixed and now they have been ignoring my emails and have been holding onto my deposit for over a month for no reason at all!!
All they cause is stress.

I went to a property viewing organised by this agency on Wednesday and I've been trying to check on the progress since. First few calls weren't answered, when I was finally able to get someone on the phone this morning and they have 1: send me to an answering machine to leave a message and 2: put me on hold and the call dropped. 3rd time went back to just not answering. Is it that hard to know what's going on with a property???

They take ages to respond to your query, you must keep chasing them and even then things don’t get solved most of the time. I’m always dreading having to ask them to resolve anything for me. Theo (our negotiator) and Tom (the agent who showed us the property) were both excellent.
We needed to rely on virtual viewings, and this was effectively accommodated by Tom, who was great at giving us a property overview via WatsApp call. Theo couldn't have been more helpful. After our initial let was taken, he swiftly found us another suitable property which was, if anything, better. Following that, he has been extremely communicative throughout all the pre-rental checks, which has made it a very smooth process, even when completed remotely.
Would thoroughly recommend Leaders to anyone looking to rent or purchase a property.

I am a landlord and this is the worst agency I ever dealt with. Would give them a minus rating if I had an option. Will never use them even if they work for free. They are unprofessional, incompetent, careless, damaging to your reputation, breaches confidentiality, amateur and illitrate to level that they can't even do a rent calculations correctly on a legal AST. They increased my burden for managing property, contracts and tenants rather than reducing it. Spoilt my relationship with almost all tenants and made them unhappy too.

Update: I feel they need to work on the internal communication, I got an email to go pick the keys, however I called on the phone and I was told that they were still awaiting some sort of verification which have already been done. That delayed my moving in to the next day.

I hate to leave this review but unfortunately I had a bad experience here. The team was very uncoordinated and didn’t communicate well. They told us we could pay our rent 6 months in advance, so we did but they told us after we sent the money that we cannot pick up the keys an hour before we were about to leave.If we didn’t have a plan B we could have been homeless. Had to wait over a week for our money back. They also didn’t respond to emails in a timely fashion and wasn’t much help with questions we had. Also had no help when it came to organising our gas + electric.

Do not fall for the 5 star ratings. I doubt if there are true. These people are scary. They wouldn't care for your physical or mental health and put you through some horrendous experiences.
Here are step by step guide what is so bad about this agency, especially if you're moving from another country and booking with them.
I viewed the house online and was bit skeptic about this and they pushed (by saying property is in demand, you might miss this etc) me to submit a holding deposit (which I did).
On the day of moving, they gave me the wrong keys to the house and it was raining and I was soaked with rain along with my baggage.
Upon entering the house, I was devastated to see that house is utterly filthy, disgusting. No cleaning of carpets, washrooms are beyond filthy. There is mould and house has damped walls.
There was no heating although my contract says that rent is inclusive of all bills.
I finally ended my contract while paying them a hefty amount of 150 pounds.
The property manager just didn't listen to you.
Please avoid at all costs or at least have a physical viewing and make sure there's no shady clause in your agreement.

On completion day, I was met with a barrage of issues that Leaders should have been prepared for and resolved. The most frustrating of these was their inability to hold spare keys for the property. They will conveniently say that they don't have to legally to cover thier inadequacy in managing their vendor. This basic oversight meant that I was unable to access my new home on time and had to scramble to locate the keys from the previous owner.
Additionally, Leaders failed to ensure that their clients complied with the law. As per the legal requirements, the previous owners should have vacated the property by the time completion took place. However, this was not the case, and I was left in a difficult situation, dealing with the previous occupants who refused to leave the property.
If you're buying through Leaders, I recommend you don't!

I had a very frustrating experience with this letting agency. They failed to show up for property visits despite scheduling them with me, causing me to waste time and come home early from work. Additionally, they consistently sent me incorrect files and information via email that were meant for other tenants, indicating a lack of organization and attention to detail. It's clear that they don't know how to keep their records straight. Overall, I would not recommend this agency to anyone looking for a reliable and professional service.

I am a current tenant with Leaders Letting Agency in Nottingham.
Leaders are completely unprofessional, rude and incompetent.
I live in a student house with three other nursing students.
Leaders have left us without warm water to any tap from September until March, and no warm water in the shower for a month - and yet to be resolved with multiple complaints made.
We had a leak from our shower into the kitchen that took 6 weeks to be resolved, but resulted in a cupboard below to go mouldy causing the contents to also be mouldy and unusable and this too is yet to be fixed despite constant complaints.
We had our management keys taken from the branch without our permission, and was told they hadn’t had them since November until January and again in March a contractor informed us Leaders again did not have our keys and gave them to a contractor without our permission.
We have had multiple different property managers, and are currently left without a property manager meaning we are having even worse communication.
We have had numerous issues with Leaders regarding communication as they persistently pass us between staff members and do not communicate with each other leading for issues to be unresolved.
We have sent emails to the customer care team, as stated per their formal complaints process, as well as branch manager and have received no response or a dead end response, and it is completely unacceptable.
Leaders will promise a call back but will never call back and you will be left chasing them.
Even before moving into the property we had endless issues as they would assure us everything had been complete and then contact us stating we had outstanding tasks we were unaware about.
They were happy to take our deposit and our money and leave us without any update on further steps. We were calling multiple times a day chasing them to find out what we need to do.
They moved is in late to our property and we still had to pay for those days we were not in the property despite it being their fault.

I do not recommend these people under no circumstances.
I made a deposit of £100 with them to secure a room and they assured me it was refundable in case I decided to change my mind, which did happen.
I had to chase and call them every 2 days for a whole month to enquire about this refund and they kept giving me different excuses. I ended up losing that money

Cannot believe this company has more than even 1 star rating. By far the worst experience i’ve ever had with a company. And this isn’t a one time experience but a repeating situation since August last year (2021) still on going. Where to begin!
- handed property over uncleaned with tenants property still in
- mould everywhere in the appliances, on the walls
- no electricity, no system for doing it eventhough it was bills included so we are stuck doing it
- no contact with landlord
- never call back, or respond to emails
- empty promises on phone calls
- took a month to come fix a leak in the bathroom that leaked through the carpet
- took MONTHS to get heating working
They really don’t care about tenants - especially students - in the slightest.

It was a bit of a rollercoaster experience at the beginning and I was not too happy with the lack of communication at times - and people going on holiday without letting us know that we couldn't reach them when we were supposed to move in. But it did change and I appreciate the hard work of certain individuals (Yvonne especially!) who did everything they could to get me in the house - even when there were snags that were not created by them, they worked tirelessly to get me in the place and make sure I had everything I needed.

They advertise properties two months earlier and tell you that you can't do a physical viewing. Then with pictures and video trick you into signing the contract.
My contract started four days ago, but the flat is a mess. The toilet flush does not work and I tried to get a shower, but the bathroom flooded with water. The plumber can't fix it until next week! The property manager, Vickie, tells me to put my hand in the water to flush the toilet!!!!
Everything such as the fridge, sofa, etc. is out of function and needs replacing. They have not even thrown out the last tenant's mattress topper and kitchen stuff.
If you do not want to get your life ruined, do not go to this agency.

Student housing - Always took months to get back to us and sort anything out. When we left we had cleaned the whole house but we got charged a lot of money for cleaning (place was disgustingly unclean when we moved in and we had to do a deep clean ourselves so it seems unlikely they will have actually decided to clean it this time. We provided photos of the conditions when we moved in but we were ignored). One of my housemates asked for receipts of the cleaning to check if they had actually hired a cleaner, his request was ignored. Me and my 2 housemates have sent multiple emails trying to sort this out but leaders has now just decided to ignore all our communication, similarly to when we tried to sort anything whilst living there. Just a scam to keep our deposits as a lot of landlords and estate agents do with students. I would not reccomend.

This is the note for all INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS!
this letting agency is the worst agency in Nottingham. I am facing issue with them since the beginning of intake. Although paperwork for keys was delayed by them in the beginning, I couldn't access the property. I paid the first month rent, security deposit and got the keys. I entered Denison Court. The house is in its worst condition. There's the leakage, tripping of electricity, no wifi(they promised to provide), broken staircase. When I told them in October about contract termination, they are not allowing me. First, they began drama of finding new tenant, second, they said that we will put this property on market, third, it's easy to terminate contract. There statements change with every second passing. Now, when I gave them every details, they gave the new chaos that landlord asked to pay full month rent. Sometimes, their landlord agrees another moment he disagrees. His mood swings are horrible. Worst are their property managers.
AN advice, don't book house with them.

I have been reporting a wet patch on my kitchen wall for over a year. I would always have to chase Leaders, they very rarely contacted me. When they do call, they don’t even leave a voice message. When I email, I have to chase up. A contractor came out and said there was a rotten floor board and damp in the chimney breast, but the landlord rejected this claim and moved the guttering. A year later, the place has wet patches. I sent an email and my usual point of contact was on maternity, so forwarded the message to her replacement who is also now on holiday. So I called on Monday and spoke to a man who said he’d pass on my details to someone higher and I still haven’t had a call back. They are leaving a 2 year old in a unfit house. I would much more recommend Express Lettings!

Initially all went well and we had started signing the contract for a property, then A DAY BEFORE the move in date we were given we were told that it was no longer available despite having already paid the holding deposit. We were then shown another property which was meant to have the same move in date and agreed to it. While we were waiting to receive keys we were told AGAIN that this property would be unavailable. We decided to look elsewhere and it took TWO MONTHS of chasing down before we finally received a refund for the holding deposit of the first property. I would strongly recommend that anyone avoid this company unless you are seeking a stressful and tedious experience.

Happy to take tenants money and never inspect the house.
Not habitable.
Repairs never acted on without endless chasing.
No action taken when communicating with the landlord.
Only began to interact when council undertook inspection reports.
Palmed off through complaints process too.
Shocking service and shocking property - steer clear and find a better letting agency.
Manager avoids all contact.
The 5 star reviews are a laugh - most of the staff mentioned have left, probably written by family members.
And interestingly only 5 stars or 1 star reviews - no middle ground - very suspicious!!!
And the replies to the 1 star reviews are all exactly the same bland brush off.

We rented from leaders for a student property but we had nothing but issues with them as a company.
Poor communication between ten members meant multiple phones had to be made then thinking we had the issue resolved turned out still not to be . We was delayed 3 weeks into moving in to the property due to poor communications and paperwork not completed after phone calls with them confirming it was all sorted. Furthermore issues within the house are poorly dealt with taking weeks to fix and often have to ring multiply times with little to no answers. As a housing company they have been awful would not recommend to other students. Also a lot of reviews have blank name here are faked

I have been to several estate agents in Nottingham, Leaders Estate is the best among all, as far as I am concerned.
My first call was handled professionally by Thom with periodic follow-ups. He calls back each time he promised to do that. His personality is 1st class!
Jamiel is another fascinating staff in the team. He works like he looks, charming! He smiles and give detailed response to every questions, professionally.
Their manager works well with the team members without being bossy. He attends to customers request in a way that make us feel like King.
I got a gift after making payment for my rent.
The team displayed good listening skill, critical thinking, timely problem-solving and good communication with customers.
I enjoined everyone to patronise Leaders Estate Agents in Nottingham, NG5 to experience their presidential treatment.

Abject incompetence all around. Organised a checkout for 8am weeks in advance, only get a call when I’m at the property that the inspector would never have been able to make it before 10am. Agreed viewings slots for new tenants only be constantly hounded for more days despite agreeing things with no less than 3 separate leaders staff. They never read their emails. Honestly the worst dealings I’ve ever had with a letting agent in all my years of renting.
If you are a tenant, I’d avoid any leaders properties like the plague.

My son and his friends, student at UON, put a deposit on a student shared house LAST year and two weeks before they were due to move in September they were told the house was no longer available... Discusting behaviour from a so say professional company.
Also, the icing on the cake, the boys are still waiting for their deposit to be refunded! I want to contact Leaders to give them a piece of my mind but my son asked me not to.????

Tom Hallam has been super helpful in assisting us swiftly with renting a property in Nottingham that we were interested in. We were having great difficulty finding somewhere to live, and had a tight deadline for when our new jobs start. Fortunately upon contacting him regarding a specific property in the early evening a couple of weeks ago, he understood the urgency of our needs and told me the exact steps we would need to take to secure the property and not be in danger of missing out. He swiftly sent a video tour, and after some great communication and prompt action from us, we had finally secured somewhere to live, all in the space of a couple of hours. Such a huge relief! If I could rate 0 stars I would. It has been weeks and months chasing a tenancy agreement for the property I'm supposed to move into on 20th of September. It's now 15th September and I haven't even paid a deposit let alone received a copy of my tenancy agreement.
I think I have spoken to every single person in that branch : assistant managers, property managers, and administrators alike. Every single one of these people have told me a different thing.
The lack of communication within this company is an achievment in its self. Never have I delt with a company so unprofessional and a group of employees so condescending. If you value your sanity and wellbeing, save yourself from the eternal torment this company will cause you and rent with someone else!

My daughter still hasn't had her tenancy agreement 11 days before she is due to move in, we have called so many times I have lost count and each time we are told different things by differnt people. Some of the staff have a condescending attitude and speak to you as though you are stupid.
With our experience so far I wouldn't recommend Leaders as a letting agent.

Don’t send any emails to update us but somehow magically, we don’t have a house to live in for the next year. How can you be so clueless as to make us pay you 2.5k and tell us afterwards that we don’t have the property even though we had it reserved. They’ll scam you out of a property and give the most barebones apologies.

When contracts were issued for our son's student property they were incorrect,stating that bills were excluded. So began a 3 week plus experience when we must have called about 20 times and were constantly told somebody would call us back. Each time we rang we had to go over the issue again. Thankfully,one day we got to speak to Theo Grant who was the only member of staff who took ownership of the problem and sorted it out for us. STEER CLEAR AT ALL COSTS!!! The 5 star reviews are deceptive, the agent will harass you for a good review during the process, that's why so many reviews mention someone by name. We've had nothing but trouble with Leaders, a month into our agreement and they still haven't turned our water and electricity on, and they're still asking for this month's rent. They go days and sometimes weeks without responding, and you have to fight just to get them to fulfill basic contractual obligations. Next uni term is fast approaching and we're still not sure if we're going to have anywhere to live. It was a big mistake ever giving these people money.

Careful in trusting this company, we had everything closed with the contract signed and the reservation paid, apart from the insurance contracted and in the absence of two days to enter the flat they have cancelled it and when we ask for explanations they only say that they will call us back and that's how it has been for a day. Very unhappy with all the treatment and disinformation they are giving us, I would not trust someone like that.

Been messed about for over 1 month.
The easy part was keeping me hanging with a deposit,
When there was an issue with the property 1 was interested in they started dancing ballet and kept me hanging... after 20 days they offered a exchange property that didn't suit me and I asked for the holding fee to be returned. It took 2 weeks for that to be agreed and a form to be sent over, i signed the form, it took them another week too sign it on their end and from then 3-5 days for a refund ... but guess what ... there was "an issue" that no one bothered to tell me about it till I called again asking for my money. The issue has been sorted now and I need to wait another 3-5-10-25-38 days. Rubbish !

Applied for a property to rent with Leaders of the 11th of April, and still didnt manage to move. I had soo many miscommunication and others issue such is delay in every step.
Today also, I had to rang 3 times still not got things shorted, is always someone will call back and no one actually does. My personal experience with them was really bad and difficult! Moving property is already very stressful and top of it all this I had to go through was not the best experience.

Finding a home seams quite easy in nowadays, but actually getting the property and dealing with all the paperwork can be a very slow and time-consuming process.
I dealt with "Dontae" in regards to a rental property, and he did a great job conveying to me all the steps to completing and acquiring the property by the end.

Pay attention folks! There’s a new property manager here at Leaders Nottingham and her name is Abbie Green. She is intelligent, professional, diligent, indefatigable and has a work ethic that is second to none.
In 2018, this place was in a bad state. Leaders put a tenant in my home who fell into arrears very early with his rent.
But then Abbie took over the management here. Head office appointed her to my property. Abbie worked tirelessly to keep me posted with the progress of the eviction and kept a constant line of communication with the tenant, encouraging him to keep up with payments. Eventually Leaders managed to evict him.
I decided to reciprocate Abbie’s professionalism and put my trust in her. Not once has she failed me. We have a new tenant in the property who hasn’t defaulted once on her rent.
If you are Landlord with a property in Nottingham, I’d give Abbie your consideration.
Thanks Abbie for really turning things around for me. I wish much success in the future and keep up the good work.

Had a property viewing at half 4 today, rang Leaders to double check the apartment number only to be told there wasn’t a booking and the landlord has actually taken it off the market. So all in all I messed around getting ready, literally coat and shoes on ready to leave (bare in mind I did a night shift last night and didn’t finish work until 7am this morning and I’m back on at 9pm tonight!) Had my partner rush home from work to fit it in only to be let down anyway. Had we actually got the flat no one would have been there and we wouldn’t have known any different! communication would have been great!!

This agent is not professional neither honest, they made me pay 155 pounds as a deposit over the phone, they called me that day when I requested a vewing while I wasnt in UK, they sent me pictures and a 3d for the apartment instead of a live video phone call. I told them i need to see how it looks now, they kept changing their words, on employer would say that the pictures are few months olds, another would say few weeks old, they kept telling me I have to pay deposit right now over the phone before even sending any documents, I was misinformed about the starting date for payment, plus I wasn't provided any documents I was instead rushed into paying the deposit over the phone, without even mentioning that is non-refundable. I didnt feel safe to continue so when I informed them about all these issues they refused to give me my money back and kept calling trying to sort things but they said nothing new. I never received my money back and I am now glad that even when I didnt receive money back that I didnt continue with this agency, I also had another incident with them the previous year, i should have listened to my doubts about this agent in the first place

We've been told that our intended move in date will be 12th of August, then branch manager Connor said it will be earlier 6th of August, then apparently after tenants moved out landlord said property won't be ready until late August so a new date was changed to 31st of August, today I got a call to say it won't be ready until 9th of September, that's nearly another 1 month after the agreed move in date, which was originally scheduled for the 12th of August! Bare in mind that I will become homeless any minute as I supposed to move in earlier and that I am also pregnant, and they want me to move in to a property at 38 weeks prengnat and what if this will be postponed again?! Very unprofessional! I am absolutely shocked! If you don't call or email and chase them up it seems that you don't get a reply for days! Absolutely fed up with the entire situation and I can't believe that I will end up being homeless and pregnant! The level of stress just hit the roof!

Worst estate agent I have ever experienced: misleading, unprofessional and unfit for purpose.
We arranged to move into a property through Leaders on 1st July. Despite signing a holding agreement on May 10th, we had to chase up Leaders to receive our tenancy agreements, which we only received 2 days before our move in date, which we felt was unprofessional. The inventory was conducted on July 1st, meaning the faults identified could not be rectified prior to us moving in. As a result, we moved into a property that had clearly not been cleaned by the previous tenants: there were stains and hair on the carpets, crumbs on the kitchen sides, and even a stained mattress (pictured). All of this was reported in the inventory, which means Leaders were happy for us to move into a dirty flat- not what you'd expect from a letting agent that boasts its 5* google reviews. We are now 10 days into the tenancy, and I am still paying for a furnished flat in which I'm having to sleep on an air mattress, as we do not know when the replacement mattress will be provided.
We also emphasized how we would need parking for two cars, and when we signed the holding agreement we were assured this wouldn't be an issue by Leaders. When we moved into the property, we were provided no information on how to access the car park (when we called, staff didn't even know where parking was for the building). Despite being told parking for two wouldn't be an issue, we were only provided with one key to access the car park. Leaders told us we were authorized to contact property management for a second. When I did so, I was told Leaders had no authority to authorize this, and that we had been misled, as the flat is only entitled to one key to access the car park.
Furthermore, electrical faults were identified, and the flat was deemed "unsatisfactory" and "potentially dangerous", yet Leaders still did not postpone our tenancy start date to accommodate this. They allowed us to move into the property knowing this, and only providing this information 5 days after our tenancy had started.
Leaders have been slow to address every issue we have raised with them- our flat still hasn't been professionally cleaned (which given everything we know about COVID-19 should be a basic requirement between tenancies). We are still waiting for electrical faults to be repaired, and as I have said I am still sleeping on an air mattress. We feel the landlords who pay leaders are their only priority- not the tenants- and we are feeling the full consequences of this way of management. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I would not normally leave a negative review but the experience I have recieved has been so appauling that I have no choice as I would not ever want someone else to go through the same experience. I was a previous tenant through a rented property of Leaders and since leaving, the after service that I have received from this office has been appauling and unbareable. I have vacated the property so am therefore no longer in a tenancy and also no longer liable to pay Leaders my rent. However, they are chasing me for rent arrears consistently. They have been notifed by the owner of that property that he has a new tenant in the property now. I have spoken to head office who pass me back to the office, but the office (Nottingham Branch) dont help either. I have received emails threatening me with legal action if I do not pay, when I have proof that I am not liable for any costs and I have also had money taken from my bank fraudently which I have had to fight to get back. I have also had emails stating that someone from Leaders will attend the property so I am aware that the Landlord has had to change the locks, out of his own pocket, to ensure the safety of the new tenants. I have tried to stop Leaders from putting pressure on me when I am no longer a tenant of theirs but they dont want to do anything so therefore deserve a bad review.

I have never been so shocked and humiliated by company before in my life. I am a real believer in customer service...but i also treat people as human beings. This company have offered a property to let but had failed miserably from the start..at the viewing the office junior was sent..he asked me to guide him to the property address..ok then he knew not were the keys were held..and wasn't sure what rooms were for rent..ok so I assisted him and decided I would still accept one of the rooms..bless him..ok so I now secure a down payment on the accommodation done...then told 1 day prior to moving in the prop was no longer available.....wow ok so a refund then....well..theses guys lied saying it was on its way..1 week later them told I had to fill a refund form in...really. you said it was on its way?...oh that lie...sorry..yea. send the form back and I will get your money sent back fast track..lol...oops that will take a week as it's not that simple...thats the boss telling me it's such a complex process i wouldn't understand..look these guys are a complete Muppet show..they have effectively robbed me as I can't trust my money will ever be refunded if they lie with impunity..stay away good people. They said they frozen the rent which was a lie because some cerdit company started calling me for rent.
Highly recommend to people to see property first see paper work dont believe them what they say you on phone.

Lauren and sandra are a credit to leaders Nottingham sales team.
They went well above and beyond for me during this sale. The property was empty and I unable to visit due to covid, Lauren took care of it, she arranged visits and kept me well informed.
Sandra was like amazing organising viewings, keeping me updated with responses, and got the house sold in no time at asking price.
Between them they answered all my questions, got onto the solicitors, rattled a cage or two to get things moving.
I cannot recommend Lauren and sandra enough if you deal with these 2 you will sell you property and you will be in the best of hands.

If I could give them star in negative, i will. They have failed in everything from taking offer to check in. Negligence in duty of care to inform that you will have different managing agent. When you deal with them, you will be treated like hot potatoes. They will chase you for 5 star review then no response at all. Dont be fooled, stay away from them. We have done biggest mistake by choosing them. Clearly ignorance in everything. Worst communication ever you will have.

Leaders have been amazing, I cannot recommend highly enough, so professional and responsive, incredibly helpful and friendly. It’s been an absolute pleasure liaising with them, they’ve worked so hard securing proceedable people for our viewings.
They provided overshoes for the viewings and advised re Covid etc.
Ultimately, over just one weekend of viewings (of which they’d scheduled 19), we had multiple offers and sold within hours.
Excellent service, not the cheapest but worth every penny as they’ve sorted all the legal side and validated/vetted people thoroughly, putting our minds at rest.

Lauren so far has been outstanding.
Lauren valued my property, arranged for the photo's and got 9 viewings on one day and sold my house for the asking price in 2 weeks!! This is a rental property, so Lauren had to be mindful of my Tennant's, which she dealt with in a professional way.
I'm very pleased that the new owners are taking on the current tenants.
Lauren also arranged my solicitor, who seems to be on the ball.
Lauren and the staff at leaders have answered all my questions and sent any information over to my solicitor straight away. Lauren also offered to be available for contact on her annual leave!! That's above and beyond, in my opinion!
Anyone on the sales team in Nottingham leader's so far have been very efficient and friendly.

Company is unresponsive unless in their own interest and is internationally deceptive to all parties, whilst also attempting to coerce tenants into signing onto contents insurance which benefits them as they earn commission. You're also coerced into leaving a 5 star review when you're in their office, before they get the keys (half of which they lost). Take the positive reviews with a gallon of salt. Would not recommend.

Don't want to be a negative but they have to learn a bit more regarding customer service and get some education with communication skills.
When I asked for deposit to get back to me, they told me to wait 10 days, after 15 days they told me to fill up a form and than wait up to 3 days.... really?!?!?! Why not telling me on first place to fill that form, why they lie?
If they lie about this imagine what else they can lie about. If you looking for stress and troubles and waste of time....this is the right place....I wish I could give no stars

Amending my review to match my feelings after moving in with this estate agent:- to say it went downhill would be an understatement. We were told that we would be offered a discount with a particular energy company that the house was supposedly already signed to, and it was to our sheer disappointment that the house was in fact not signed to this company and after contacting said company they had no knowledge of this special discount. You'd think that the one thing an estate agent would get be able to get right would be ensuring all the keys were given to us but nope, two of our keys went missing while in their hands. The most painful thing of all though is how many attempts to contact them it took for us to get a direct answer about either of these issues.

THEY DO NOT CARE FOR YOUR INTERESTS, JUST THEIR COMMISSION.
Initially seemed friendly and responsive, the property was clearly dirty but we were told that it will go through deep cleaning before we get the keys. Once the security deposit was put down the estate agent proceeded to text us in the morning asking for us to write a good review(initial red flag) some days down the line we were told that if we do not sign up for insurance we would not receive the keys to the property (this wasn't mentioned anywhere in the initial forms we had to fill out). We disputed this claim and soon after they dropped it. Further issues arose when we have gone to pick up the key and were only given 1 key for a 2 people apartment claiming that they don't have another key. When prompted if the apartment has been cleaned the response was yes. Once we got to the apartment we found it in a worse state than initially. One of the toilets has been used with excrement still present. Bird excrement was present in the livingroom along with feathers and dust. One of the beds was clearly broken.
When speaking to their manager Connor we were met with snarky remarks and laughter as he clearly got what he wanted, a signed contract, and did not wish to help us further. The lettings sent a cleaner who never made it to the property as she wasn't given a key and we weren't told to wait for her. When this was told to Connor he proceeded to suggest that we have made the whole thing up so that we could break the contract, despite obligations haven't being met to clean the apartment especially given the COVID-19 situation.

It was a rather difficult conveyance, taking close to 10 months from acceptance to completion and I can't blame the lockdown either!
Yvonne and Lauren have been utterly fantastic. Every stall was met with professionalism, integrity and most importantly, humour and a positive attitude.
The whole chain came close to collapsing several times due to issues with our purchase and the never ending delays, but the team at leaders kept pushing forward. Countless times going above and beyond to keep us informed and liaising with all parties.
Not all Estate Agents are heartless, target driven automatons, leaders have proved that to us.

I thought about using one of the online services because they were going to be much cheaper on paper than Leaders. I spoke to Leaders (Meghan Farnell) however and they told me what I would be getting for the extra spend. I thought it might be a bit of the sales patter etc but decided to go with them and am so glad I did. I was under a bit of time pressure to get my flat sold. I engaged them on 2 March 2020. They provided sound advice as to the price I needed to pitch the flat at to generate interest without compromising my position and giving the flat away at an undervalue. Then they put together a bang on advertisement and by 16 March an offer was accepted. Then lockdown put paid to progress but Leaders were really very good at what they do.
I dealt with Lauren Bennett and Paul Unwin and have only good things to say about both. They know the local market really well and have contacts with the right people to get viewings of my kind of property going. That was a real plus and something I never would have got with the online services. They are more expensive than the online services but having been through it, i would always use these guys moving forward and pay more to get the job done properly then to try to save a few quid but have potentially endless nightmares through the process. No brainer - use Leaders.

AVOID the Nottingham Branch of Leader estate agents if you value your wellbeing, time, and money!
The Initial experience with Leaders Nottingham was professional and friendly with Tom when he hosted the viewing of an apartment in Park West, Nottingham City Centre. Although the property did require cleaning and had a broken blind in one of the bedrooms, my flat mate and I were assured by Tom that the property would go through a deep clean and would be ready to move in to before moving in.
The application process took around a week after the security deposit was put down. Once the application and checks were successful, we were told that we could not collect the keys until there is proof of contents insurance…. This was never mentioned in the terms and agreements of the initial application forms we filled out. After pointing this fact out they had dropped their claims.
Once we paid rent for the first month as requested, we had gone to the office to collect the keys from Klaudia. My flat mate and I only received one key, Klaudia stated she did not have a second key cut as the key cutters were closed. I was baffled that there was only one key available in the first place, especially for a two-bed property we asked if the property was ready as promised, to which Klaudia had answered yes.
This was certainly not the case as the apartment was in a worser state than the day of viewing! One of the toilets has been used with excrement still present. Bird excrement was present in the living room along with feathers and dust. One of the beds was clearly broken, one of the blind supports was completely broken off the wall.
The allocated parking space was occupied by someone else (51 Plate Silver Vauxhall Corsa). The parking for this this building is managed by Walton and Allen who I could not get hold of as they were closed. I also could not get hold of leaders at this point as they were shut as well… we were only available to move in after I had finished an early shift.
I had felt completely cheated and had called the next morning to request that the apartment be thoroughly cleaned as promised. Tom, who had apologised for the situation, had promptly organised a cleaner to come to the apartment for the afternoon that day. The cleaner had been looking for parking (she was the passenger in the car she travelled in). She had begun to speak to me rudely because she and her colleague couldn't use the residential parking and then flat out refused to do the job and walked off after I told her to calm down.
I had contacted Leaders once again and got through to Connor, the most useless excuse of a manager I’ve ever had to converse with. He suggested I made the whole thing so we could break the contract, even though there was 2 weeks to prepare the property for tenancy. He even had the audacity to speak over me with a snide tone and even chuckled at me. Connor denied this childish behaviour when I called him out on it. He is clearly not customer orientated and just cares about commission, even at a time where COVID-19 is plaguing everyone’s lives.

Had to do 1 star as won't allow 0 worst experience with an estate agents ever. Lack of communication, customer service. No one knows what they are doing. Passed from person to person then they pretend to have no idea what your talking about then that person leaves so we start over. So many have left, that kind of speaks for itself. We stupidly rented a property in 2018 and still to this day its causing us nothing but grief. We got permission to terminate the contract early. Thankfully that's the only good thing that's happened. We have had an ongoing dispute with the landlord due to him claiming for things that we constantly reported while we were there.landlord and Estate agents lacked duty of care the whole time we were there with regards to communication and the non existant reaction to maintenance issues. We have had no apology or explanation as to why this has happened nor will we get one. There were a couple of things we were willing to pay for but now have been massively taken advantage of. We were left 2 weeks without the use of a bath or shower due to it causing a leak through to the ceiling that we reported non stop and we are the ones being charged for it! 2 contractors that were not qualified plumbers eventually came out but the issue was not fixed. After 2/3 weeks a professional plumber was finally sent out to sort the problem and stated that he had been to that house countless times with the same problem but the landlord had no intention of taking the advice on what needed to be done.This landlord also owns a fire safety company yet left us 2 weeks without the key to the patio doors that were a fire escape and also no batteries in the smoke alarms despite leaders signing legal documents saying there was. Again no one cared. We have a child to think about. Inspection and check out reports don't mean anything as we are still being charged for things that the reports state were fine. Also leaders lied on the check out report stating who carried it out and if we were present for it. The manager of the branch also ignored emails so he's as useful as a chocolate fire guard. Will never recommend leaders to anyone. Will never use them again even if they were the last ones on earth! All these other 4/5 star comments must be fake!

It’s CHALLENGING nowadays finding a competent estate agent, who respond promptly, are up to speed ???? with marketing techniques and who priorities customers ???? above everything else! The most unprofessional, inept law breaking property I have ever encountered & my work back is as a nationwide letting insurance provider.
Provide unqualified contractors, serious dangerous failures in property management. Discriminate tenants less favourably than landlords in repairs & insurance / deposit hold.
Property ombudsman, ARLA, Shelter legal services & solicitors all confirmed they are in various legal breaches including disability discrimination, victimisation, failure to maintain adequate property standards & harassment.
Got to say Holden Copley are in a different league in professionalism & service levels.

Would leave a zero but it won't allow. I don't do reviews but have been that upset by the service it has made me cross. You will speak to different staff who all tell you different things, they had no idea what is included with the property. One minute it is available then it has gone, then its available again and they want your money with no paperwork submitted or signed. Absolute disgrace to the industry.

Worst experience I've had with an estate agency ever. At first I'm told the price of the place is bills inc and then I'm told it's not and it's my fault that I hadn't seen it not-mentioned on the ad. The landlord then decides to extend their vacation and not provide the paperwork needed for my move-in. I had to stay in a 3rd airbnb for a week, spend a tremendous amount of money which they told me would later be deducted from the 1st month's rent. So one day before the official move-in he calls to say he decided to rent the place to a relative of his. Currently trying to get my deposit back and will be going to the citizens advice office for this. The agency assisted me 0% in this and appears to have known nothing. Ashley did try to help, but it was in vain.

Staff were friendly, booking process for viewings was fast and efficient with no problems and was even allowed a second viewing after holding deposit on the day I requested it. Sometimes didn’t get a call back on some organisation issues. Often had to prompt. Nothing had been done I had asked for before moving into the property. Still chasing the work to be done.
Would recommend asking for Ashley or Becca both were fantastic and 5 star employees they got things sorting quickly during the letting part of the process.

The service Leaders has provided was very poor. We lived in a house for 3 years and nevertheless we've been good and paying tenants, we received a section 21 notice to vacate the property, totally out of the blue with no warnings and in a stressful time for tenants (got to submit my PhD thesis in a month after the vacation date). Who knows how much deposit I will be given back even.
A poor service with twazzler landlords too lazy to perform any crucial repair at the house in 3 years (bedroom window did never entirely shut nor they repaired the leaky roof or fixed those roof tiles found on the ground in the front door -someone might have been injured-).
Leaders should improve the selection of the landlords they want to work with and comunication with their own tenants.

Very disappointed with our experience with Leaders. Spent 9 years in the same property which started with Belvoir in the first two years who were excellent but the owner fell out with them and it moved to PWR for the next few years who were ok but leaders took them over several years ago and in that time it has been constant chasing about getting anything done. In the 9 years we were there they never performed any inferior decoration. The carpet was 10 years old when we moved in and there were stubborn stains which were impossible to get out. The kitchen units were old and falling apart which even after constant reporting nothing was done until the house was put up for sale. It was that poor that we had to involve health and safety which made recommendations that the landlord needed to implement in a short space of time. All the stress and lack of assistance from leaders during this period contributed to my elderly mother having a breakdown and was hospitalised for over 3 months which is still a real sore pill to swallow. When leaders put the house on the market they gave my mother false assurances that there was nothing to worry about that it would be sold to investors consequently making life particularly difficult when eventually served with 2 months notice put through the door. She could have been looking for an appropiate replacement property during the time on the market instead of having to frantically look for one with only the minimum two months notice. May i add leaders made no contact thereafter. What wonderful service. We handed the keys in two weeks before the eviction date and they would like to charge us for the privilege. The fringe freezer packed up before the notice was served and my mother reported this to Leaders explaining that we had to didpose of 140 pounds worth of food but as always they have conveniently said there was no trace of this being reported which is about par for the course. Also adding that you need to claim on your contents insurance. That's rich we should have to lose out on our no claims through a low value claim. However you are expected to pay a furnished rental cost and no effort to correct the problem because then the house is put on the market . Total failure to meet their obligations. I handed the keys a month ago tomorrow and have received no further communication from Leaders thereafter. I released my tenancy deposit on this day and no word from Leaders until i rang them today only to be patronised by Jamie that i have to wait until they receive proposals from the landlord . This is propostrous as where is the respect and empathy for the tenant. Do you not work on their behalf? When indeed would you eventually contact us? Also he claims there were issues with the property then why indeed did they not contact us to give us the opportunity to see what they were and giving us the chance to dispute if needed. Afraid the whole experience just leaves a sour taste. The whole upheaval and destress has really taken its toll on my mother which is unacceptable. I have unbelievable amounts of phone calls made to leaders on our phone bills documenting the ridiculous amount of times we had to chase and the failure of the staff taking ownership and feeling back. The only light in the tunnel now is that when we eventually do hear from them about our deposit we never have to deal with them again. I dare say this will probably go on a few more months given their track record of dealing with us.

We rented a property through Bulmers who we could not fault at all from start to finish. They we unfortunately taken over by Leaders who I cannot rate as anything but unprofessional. When it came to returning our deposit for the property after we had moved out it took them 2 days short of 8 weeks. This was after several emails, telephone conversations made to them to keep chasing where our deposit was. When we were promised phone calls back nothing ever came of it & no call was ever made to us. The communication on Leaders part was lack, unprofessional & unapologetic. If it wasn’t for myself & my husband keep on at them then we most probably would still be waiting now. I would not recommend Leaders down to their sheer lack of customer service & care. They also had the nerve to say that our Rental Agreement was purely just a ‘guidline’ & not a legally binding document. I am sure that if we had ever missed a rental payment (not that we ever did) their view on our rental agreement may differ!
With regard to the rent increase, you failed to send us any documentation through to action this therefore because of fault of your own company it didn’t take effect until the 1st July & we had already given our notice & paid the correct amount owing to you. We did not owe you £50 arrears in rent, your own staff agreed it had been entered incorrectly & so they took this amount off. We have never owed any monies & paid our rent monthly & always on time.
I had to call to chase where our forwarding mail was to be told that you had it there at the branch already, again, a courtesy call or quick email would have been appreciated to inform us of this. If I hadn’t have called I’m sure I would have never of known you had our mail there!
Just extremely poor customer service & always having to be chased several times to get anywhere.

We rented a house with them, they were not at all useful during the rental and also once left the house. When we entered in the house the shower wasn't working and there was a stain on the wall in the kitchen after several mail and phone calls they "fixed" the shower after 3 months. After fixed the shower started dripping in the kitchen,staining the whole wall, ovviusly wasn't a new problem. We reported this problem for a year and nobody fix it, when we left the house that problem was still there. After that we had more problems. Now my partner and I are still waiting to collect the deposit after a month that we left the property. After all of that, they want to charge us with an incredible amount of money for cleanig, when i personally cleaned everything. As I can see from the previous reviews also other person reported the same thing. They do not bother to give you any news even after solicitations. Absolutely not recommended.

Such a terrible estate agents... me and my girlfriend viewed our first place together but there was a few things that needed sorting, leaders staff told us all the issues would be sorted before any move in date so we don’t need to worry about applying... on the move in date, nothing had been sorted. They allowed us to move in to a smelly house with cracks in the ceilings which looked like someone had clearly tried plastering over them to hide them. We also later realised the house had flees due to the previous tenants having unclean dogs “apparently” when we asked why the issues wasn’t sorted like they promised they said excuses like “we tried” or “we didn’t promise anything” we had people round who said the house wasn’t ready for anyone to live in it. We was also told on the viewing day that the neighbors were quiet and nice, when in reality they banged and screamed from 8am to 11pm, NONE STOP! We spent our own money on cleaning it up and de fleeing the house because leaders couldn’t be bothered. We kept asking to leave because we didn’t feel safe or happy there to which they said we couldn’t. Until we involved citizens advice, surprisingly, we was then allowed to leave. SHOCK! It has now taken over 2 months to get even close to them giving us our deposit back! If anything comes out of this I just hope leaders are no longer working with the landlord of this property especially considering no one could ever get in contact with him.

UPDATE: At the moment of writing there has still not being any progress regarding the roof, even though I personally have had contractors around and sent quotes to Leaders. We're now coming up to the 12 month mark.

Oh Leaders, you naughty people, did you delete my review? You did didn't you? I'm not sure what else I expected, but nice to see you don't have any dignity!
To anyone who is considering taking out a tenancy with Leaders... just know that, unless you owe them money or the landlord wants to inspect the property, don't expect anything to be sorted out. Our roof have been leaking since the start of the tenancy, 10 months ago.
(let me guess Leaders, you're going to ask me to email you so that you can try to sort out issues you're having?)

The worst estate agents myself and family have ever had to deal with. Took them a whole month to fix a boiler in middle of winter, constantly contacting the wrong house mate in regards to money.
The latest mess up they've made lately is my younger brother moved out of leaders property 3 months ago, paid up all his rent and then moved to new house, contacted leaders (as did his housemates) to make sure it was all paid up so nothing owed. He needed a reference so contacted leaders asking for a reference. Advised that they can't give a reference and needs to be from landlord (my brother has never even met the landlord and only dealt with leaders), after they realised that mistake they are now advising they can't give reference due to him owing rent, even though they confirmed months ago he doesn't and it's been discussed 3-4 times.
Never going to rent with these again, my brother will never rent with these idiots again and I would suggest others do the same.

Advice for tenants of properties managed by this company:
Email responses:
If a yes/no response - expect at least 2 days and to have to chase them up with a phone call.
If for a more detailed response with issues - expect to have to call them as they won't reply unless emailing branch manager.
If for you to make a payment - expect instant response.
Requesting repairs or replacements:
Getting a contractor - expect to have to chase contractors yourself and no matter what the issue, will take a long time.
Replacements being delivered - They will give you a days notice of delivery dates and times, meaning if you work, you'll have to find someone else to receive the delivery.
When first moving into the property:
Appliances - Don't expect them to have been checked to see if they work.
Security - Don't expect any of the potential entrances to the property to have been checked.
Property in general - Nothing will have been checked above the standard of someone with below average intelligence walking around with a camera.
Lived in the property for less than a month and have had nothing but trouble, 2 of those weeks where we couldn't actually cook or keep valuables / feel safe in the property, but still obviously having to pay for that time. I hope their service will improve in time, but at the moment, not happy.
Leaders in incompetence and poor service, not property management.

I would prefer more frequent inspections e.g. every 3 months and also after the first month. Also, when contacting me please specify which property you are referring to - last week I had an email to say the tenant called to find out if I had a key to the accessway. I didn't know which property this related to. Overall I am pleased with the service and would recommend you to others

Not very good with customer service, their attitude has been appalling on several occassions. They also need to check the houses they rent to tenants before the contracts get signed. I certainly will never be looking at a house under this company again.

Having bought and sold many houses over the years, I have had some Awful experiences with estate agents, that have left me always a little guarded and weary of them. No such need with Leaders, Phillipa was a class above the rest. Efficient, friendly, informative and worked hard to get the right result. Very friendly and helpful service for the viewing! We were greeted by 3 representatives, one of whom took us into the property and gave a guided tour (which was great as many agencies leave you to it!), answering all of our questions along the way. After we were provided with a bag with all the property details - a lovely touch- and a representative discussed the property with us, all of whom were very knowledgeable about the property! We then headed over to the office, and everyone there was very helpful too. Great service overall - if we ever deal with an agency again, we hope its Leaders!!

I used PWR (now Leaders) for a tenancy find only and they made the whole process very easy for me especially as this was the first time I have rented out a property. The staff were very quick to answer my questions and they drew up a contract that suited me. They were also very flexible in allowing me to be a part of the vetting procedure in choosing the right tenants and so I was able to meet potential tenants before any applications were made to rent my property. I was happy with the final outcome and would recommend their services.
