I have just recently bought a property through Liam Darrell and was impressed with their professionalism throughout.
Every step of the way was well communicated to me and on occasion they chased and worked hard to push the solicitors for answers, when issues arose. This gave myself and the sellers piece of mind that everything was being done possible to help both sides.
Ive spoke to most staff at their office on different occasions and found each persion has always been friendly and courteous. They truly put the customer first which gives you confidence whether you are buying or selling.
Id like to single out Bekky specifically for some praise; as her help, knowledge and moral support throughout (when the conveyancing was dragging out) made a big difference, so thank you!

We first put our house on the market with Liam Darrell about a year ago. We accepted an offer on the very first day it went live, unfortunately that was the start of a roller coaster experience for us with the first buyer pulling out at the last minute. Then our second buyer did the same, and thankfully we secured our current buyer. All through this time it was so very stressful but the staff at Liam Darrell were amazing. Bekky kept us informed of progress and was a brilliant help with keeping us sane and acting as intermediary with solicitors and other estate agents. We can’t fault their service, they certainly go way beyond expectations, always cheerful, professional and ready to help. Would definitely recommend.

From initial contact, valuation then right through to completion they have been excellent communicators, always there to offer guidance and advice.
Prior to viewings we always received an email notification with full details and post viewing we got very honest feedback which enabled us to adjust our pricing in what is a competitive Scarborough market.
LD supported us throughout the actual sales process , speaking with the buyers , their solicitors and bringing any queries forward quickly so we could respond and move on in purchasing process.
A massive “Thank You” to Diane who has been with us every step of the way, also Bekky & Neve who always stepped in to help and dealt with any questions we pushed their way.

We had several viewings of which they did none, one excuse was stuck in traffic. So i would not recommend , although he does seem to have a large part of the selling market. Shame

Selling a house is a stressful time for anyone but in our case it was made harder by the fact it was my late parents home and both my sister and I are not local to the Scarborough area. We met up with many local agents but Liam Darrell's approach was empathetic and enthusiastic without putting pressure on us at a difficult time.
True to their word the house sold quickly at the price we had wanted and the process was handled efficiently and professionally by Diane who was genuinely happy to have helped us at this sad time.
I don't suppose we'll ever have a house in Scarborough again but would certainly use Liam Darrell if we ever did ????

It would be difficult to exaggerate the impeccable service which I received from Liam Darrell’s. From the first visit to the completion of the sale the service was exemplary. Every stage of the process was managed with professionalism but in addition with extreme consideration and sensitivity. Selling a house and moving is inherently stressful but in this instance the stress was reduced as effectively as possible due to such exceptional care. Everyone was worthy of praise but I must mention Diane in particular. Blown away with how stress free buying my first property was with these guys and highly recommend.
I had previously viewed a couple of other places with different estate agents and was treated poorly as my budget wasn't that big and was made to feel like I was wasting there time.
With Liam Darrell it was the total opposite extremely friendly, helped me through all the stages and kept me regularly updated on how it was all going.

The only reason for giving a 4 star rather than a 5 was that we specified at the start that we did not want For Sale signs outside the property (as it was empty and we did not wish to advertise this). Just like any other estate agent really and I wouldn’t say they’re much cheaper than others. The online portal took a while to get working but in the end didn’t provide much information, they should try and push viewers more in providing feedback. The valuation was very positive for the property but the valuation price was too high to attract viewers, this may be to get your business.

After a very negative experience with previous agents we had decided to take our property off the market, which was a hard decision as we had found our dream home,however as a last ditch effort,we decided to contact liam Darrell and we are so glad we did..liam and his team were amazing..nothing was too much trouble and they were allways there to speak to, even out of office hours.liam sold our house very quickly and we were able to move to our dream property ...liam is extremely professional yet very down to earth, relatable and likable..I would recommend liam to anyone selling a property to contact him..he has a great deal of experience and really understands the turbulent property market and after dealing with other traditional agents in Scarborough ..I would say liam Darrell is a breath of fresh air

I can't recommend Liam and the team at Liam Darrell highly enough. They are so friendly and professional, always on hand to answer any questions or offer any help you might need. The whole house sale process was very fast and easy - from start to finish. Liam was honest and realistic with the valuation and the house was advertised, viewing booked the next day and within 48 hours we had an offer and sale secured.
