Very rude. Actually try to bully people. They want money for a house deemed unfit for purpose and then try and make out I want to end my tenancy when the property has been deemed unfit unsafe to live in twice now avoid at all cost

Very unprofessional service from this Estate agent
As a tenant my rental property was transferred to Limegreen when it took over my previous Estate agent.
They failed to clearly communicate the transfer of business.
They take very long to actually address issues, I raised the issue of missing tiles in May which lead to a bad leak and terrible mould.
From personal experience they like to play pass-the-buck
The owner even told me I had no right to record my call with them which I am legally entitled to do so.

I had a very disappointing experience with this letting agency. After the landlord confirmed that the property was “let agreed” to us, the agency asked for every document and reference, which I provided immediately. They also took a £300 holding amount. Only after completing everything did they tell me that my affordability “did not match.”
This feels extremely unfair and unprofessional. They should have checked affordability before asking for full documentation and taking my holding fee. Their unclear process caused me unnecessary stress and embarrassment, especially because I had already informed my manager while preparing for this move.
I would not recommend this agency to others based on how they handled my application. Their communication and transparency need serious improvement.

Recently my sister, due to dementia, had to enter a care home.
My husband and I were then faced with the issue of selling her property in Prestwick
We live an hour’s journey away, and as my husband is disabled visits, to deal with the many issues that arose, could only be by taxi.
A big problem.
We contacted Limegreen Estate Agents in Prestwick who were most helpful, and in our circumstances, also supportive, and we would like to thank the staff (especially Deborah!) for resolving our many problems and for very successful marketing exercise as well as organising viewing
Help was particularly valued getting the house emptied of contents, and resolving pre sale repairs, as well as number of lesser issues

This company are very ignorant ignoring requests for repairs the worst was when we had a leaking radiator in bathroom it was that bad my husband slipped and fell this after numerous phone calls numerous emails then witholding some of our deposit saying house was left dirty and dog hairs yhey new we had a dog

Utter shambles of a estate agents.. they haven't done any repairs to the property since they took over as landlords in 2017 I have had constant arguments since 2017.. over the dated property with its damp Issues and disrepair of the property.. rusty old cooker I asked them to replace which they haven't. The bathroom ceiling and bathroom was very dated. It needing repaired replaced . The bedroom corner wall was suffering damp ... I used there rent money to Fix the property of its issues.. they have the cheek to bill me for deep cleaning and disrepair of the work they haven't done.. avoid them.. there not nice people at all.. to run anyone's house

Unfortunately lime green bought out the company I had started my private let with and since then they have been useless, the staff are rude and blame contractors for jobs needing repaired. My issue was raised in January and still not corrected. More than happy to take the rent each month, not so keen to do anything else. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone looking to rent privately.

I am a landlord with only one property. When I made the decision to rent a property many of my friends told me to handle it all myself. "Don't waste money paying an agent" was the usual advice. Well, I ignored them and went to (then) Murphy & Scoular in Kilmarnock. The service I received was exactly what I had hoped for. I had the idea that they would allow me to "let and forget" and while that maybe wasn't completely true it was as close as possible. They handled everything for me - paperwork, advertising, legal stuff, safety checks, contracts, vetting tenants, cleaning etc. Yes, there's a cost but they quickly demonstrated that it was absolutely worth it. When Murphy & Scoular were bought over by Limegreen, I of course worried that things would deteriorate. I was delighted that they kept the same staff and the service is every bit as good as it always was. They have been a great help over the years. If you're reading this and wondering whether to take on an agent, then have a read at all the Government Regulations that are in place re renting and get yourself to Limegreen!

Had a viewing at a property today and was greeted nicely. He didn’t follow us about, he let us have a look ourselves so we didn’t feel pressured in anyway. Staff in the office seem very kind through phone calls I have had recently. 5 stars soo far :)

My property was previously on with another agent who was hard to get hold of and worked minimal hours, the property was transferred to limegreen from this agent with only an email stating it had taken place, obviously a bit of a surprise this had happened but was a move that was most satisfactory as limegreen is professional, know what they are doing and importantly at the end of the phone if I need to speak to them! Very satisfied.

A year long problem with a broken shower door I was with another letting agent lime Green took over within a week this would have been sorted but my brother had a stroke so had to postpone the repair .update sad to say the owners of the property wouldn’t fix the door a shower curtain had to be attatched iv since moved out that property

This company happily collected my rent each month but did nothing to sort out the damp, mould, draughty windows, hole in the front door, water coming through kitchen ceiling when it rained… because the landlord was a good customer of theirs and it was a collections only agreement. They did try and increase my rent though… despite Environmental health declaring the property below tolerable standard. The house was freezing cold, even with the heating on. The owner rang me to scream and shout down the phone at me when I copied my local councillor in on an email. Terrible company with no morals. Avoid !

They were rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. They showed me properties that were nothing like what I asked for, and they tried to pressure me into signing a contract without reading it. They lied about the features and conditions of the houses, and they ignored my calls and emails when I had questions or complaints. They were the worst estate agent I have ever dealt with, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

After almost 16months of a private let this company are managing for me I asked about their process for increasing the annual rent. I was astonished to find that this was depended on ‘someone looking’ whenever this person ‘choose to look’. Were it not for my asking there would have been no review. Now I need to wait until next year to get an increase in income. When I hired this company I was told that they were ‘on my side’. I’m glad they’re not on the other side. But I don’t think they are on my side at all. And, try finding out about any complaints procedure. I tried but was told that the only person (the only person in the whole company, mind you) who could advise me how to complain was not working at the moment! You couldn’t make it up.
Update: the tenant has served notice to vacate. Unfortunately for me Limegreen were too busy to let me know until more than a week later. They were not too busy to immediately acknowledge this notice with the tenant and to wish them all the best.

I booked a visit for a property. I have received a call day before the visit day to confirm with me the time and location in addition to an email which great.
The agent was friendly and on time waiting for us. The visit went well and the agent answered all my questions and gave all information needed to apply the the tenancy.

Laurie Weir, Manager and her team have handled my house letting for nearly 6 years now without any problems. They work with such professionalism from start to finish. They keep me well updated and any help the Tenant requires is sorted very promptly. They keep me updated on the house checks made and make sure all my Landlord Certificates are all up to date. I can highly recommend this company if you are looking for a letting agent .

I viewed the property at Glebe Road, Kilmarnock. Although it ultimately was not for me, I was impressed by the professionalism and courtesy shown by both the office agents and the person showing the property. Not every letting agent even replies to emails, but Limegreen was exemplary. Excellent service.
