We were selling our late father’s bungalow around ipplepen and it was in need of renovation. Luscombe May provided good advice and secured a large number of interested parties within the first week of marketing. Despite one buyer pulling out another was quickly found and proceeded to complete. We found the communication good and the offers achieved fair. We lived over 200 miles away and also requested help in a regular visit to check the empty bungalow to help us satisfy insurance policy needs. Hebe was very helpful in doing this for us which was much appreciated. They did what they said they would do throughout. We would use them again if the need arose.

I recently sold my flat with the assistance of Luscombe Maye, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. They were thoroughly professional and highly motivated to work towards the buyers' goals, demonstrating attentiveness and excellent communication skills throughout the process with all stakeholders.
Their photographer was excellent, adaptable to my needs, and produced amazing photos while incorporating my direction. Luscombe Maye showed great attention to detail in my listing, always eager to get my input and work with me to meet my expectations, ensuring the best possible outcome.
What truly stood out was their willingness to communicate at all times, even outside of regular working hours. They made sure the entire team was informed about the latest developments, so I never had to worry about ensuring someone was up-to-date if my primary agent was unavailable.
The outcome of my flat sale was excellent because they were adaptable and worked closely with me, avoiding a cookie-cutter approach. ChartsEdge: all fur coat and no knickers—full of talk but lacking substance, with incorrect vital details in their listings.
Marchand Petit: Unrelatable spivs
With all that said, Luscombe Maye came out on top. They are well worth any cost and the investment of using them as your agent.

We met him when looking at a house that we were not successful purchasing but, Matt then took our details and what we were looking for and, within 2 months he had found us the house we would then purchase, reaching out directly to us with two recommendations. We really felt that this office went the extra mile. Having heard we were looking for something in Totnes, Ian 'phoned us and talked me through everything available - and with our requirements there was nothing that measured up. Then he told us about something that was absolutely not what we wanted, and talked us into going to see it - and we absolutely loved it. It took a while for us to get our heads around something so different to what we had imagined, and during this time visiting friends insisted on seeing it and giving their opinion - and Piers was happy to turn out on a Sunday morning to accommodate this. Throughout, they were both so friendly and helpful. Having bought the property, we love it more and more, and will always be glad Ian bothered to make that call on the off chance.

I employed Piers Whiting at the Totnes Office to sell my property in Ashprington. The property was half way through a refurbishment and frankly looked a bit of a bomb site ... so he had a hard job ahead of him! Much to my delight a sale was made very quickly....but as quickly as it was made, the buyer got cold feet concerning the refurbishing my house needed and suddenly withdrew. Piers very quickly re marketed the house using his impressive list of potential "back up" buyer's. I am very pleased to say within a week the house was secured to a new buyer and proceeded very quickly to completion. I have no hesitation whatsoever in highly recommending Piers Whiting and his team in Totnes. I understand Ian Bransdon has also now joined the Totnes office.
