From the start dealing with "Jerry" who is now no longer there (good) felt very pressured buying our first home with this company, sellers solicitor kept wanting to put completion dates in before our solicitor had finished checks, kept getting calls and emails for "updates" Evan though said multiple times speak to our solicitor as was in there hands (we had done our bits), some information we was not told about from the seller either which would of been nice and wouldn't of delayed things if truthful, some of the staff in the office was talking abit inappropriately in the background when me and my partner had to come in, if we purchase another property we will go with another estate agents.

Margetts were fantastic. We hadn’t moved for over 20 years so we’re a little rusty. Margetts reassured us from the beginning, from Jerry answering the original enquiry, Oliver for the valuation and photos, Jim overseeing our open house, and finally Helen and Cheryl arranging viewings, and then dealing with all aspects of selling. We were only selling as buying further away. Margetts have extensive local knowledge and were always available to answer any queries. Unprofessional, I arranged to view a property at 10:00 I arrived on time and waited 15 minutes for nobody to turn up I would later received a text at 10:56 saying my appointment had been cancelled which obviously too late by then, I don't appreciate my time being wasted and when you're facing homelessness I'm thinking about suicide everyday it doesn't help matters but obviously they don't care because they have plenty of people lined up this company should be ashamed of themselves

I cannot express enough gratitude for the support in which Margetts provided for the sale of our property in Warwick. From the listing, to the sale, and the final completion, the expert advice, guidance and expertise shared were of great comfort to us while navigating an otherwise traditionally tricky topic of selling and purchasing a property.
Their prices are incredibly reasonable given the level of service provided. The listing was professional, as was all of the subsequent communication. I found them to be very supportive and attentive to our needs. They were able to sell our house within 2 weeks.

Really disappointing service when it comes to dealing with enquiries. We contacted the Warwick branch through various platforms as we were overseas and didn't get a single response via email or the rightmove platform. Just a lazy attitude and I would avoid if you want someone who actively engages with potential buyers.

Excellent from start to finish. The sales negotiators were very professional and on the ball. There were some small issues wiith the Rightmove listing which Margetts were quick to remedy. I got great feedback immediately after each viewing although the staff conducting the viewings could have been more knowledgeable regarding the house. Overall would definitely recommend.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Quite possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever received. Highly aware that it is a rentals market at the moment as see this as an opportunity to do the least amount of work possible. Would not trust anything they say, agent forced us to back out and when we said that is not our aim, spoke to the landlord and requested he withdraw our application for a rental. Disappointing considering we asked for the bare minimum to be fixed before moving into a rental property. They wanted us to move in with a rotten bay window, with holes and leaks in during the coldest three months of the year- the disappointing part is we agreed before application in writing that this was to be fixed before move in date and still nothing. The letting agent made no effort to withhold their end of the agreement and found it easier to back out and put the property back on the market. SOOOOOO poor

Having used Margetts for many years we chose them again to sell our valuable house. The service we received was, as usual outstanding. Tentative, professional, friendly staff guided us though every stage. We were kept updated throughout the sales process, we received a phone call following every viewing with feedback.

My review is only based on our leaving process when trying to get our deposit back. We rented fine for 2 years, their communication during that time wasn’t the best but we didn’t contact them much. Due to a staff change the new member of staff in the lettings team was awful when trying to get our deposit back, no reply for days sometimes, not chasing the landlord who was stalling for whatever reason. For this reason we wouldn't recommend renting through them

I now let the same property and am never disappointed with the personal, professional and friendly service that they provide. One of the best Estate Agents I've ever had connections with (and there have been numerous). Special thanks to Tamsin for being so supportive whilst finding the most recent Tenant which wasn't an easy task with Lockdown and me living miles away. From a buyer point of view, If I could put 0 star, I would. Margetts "does the best to protect the interest of their sellers". This means they do mess around with potential buyers - even after accepting an offer and telling you "congratulations". This is by far the worse experience with a estate agency I have had.
Edit: 32 reviews so far and 10 times 1 star. That tells the story...

I recently purchased a property during the lockdown, the entire process was completed in less than 5 weeks which was down to Oliver and his great team. Throughout the sale of my house in Warwick, Oliver and the team were nothing less than superb. Viewings were arranged within 24 hours of my house going on the market and within 4 days I accepted an offer. Every query was dealt with quickly and effectively, the personal touch they gave to all my dealings with them put me at ease throughout the sale process to completion. Even after completion, Oliver was in touch to ensure everything had gone to plan.
In the complex and stressful world of house moving, estate agents like Margetts make it a bearable experience. For any future move I would not hesitate to use them again. Compared to the more corporate and impersonal service I've had from previous estate agents, there is no comparison.
Keep up the good work Margetts! Judging by the number of houses in Warwick being sold by them, they are.

Although we didn`t sell our property through Margetts we would certainly reccomend them. Cheryl stepped in as she was at the bottom of the chain for our house sale. She pulled the whole thing together to get everything in line for exchange and completion, as our own estate agent disappeared from the scene, and we can`t thank her enough.An assett to the company!
