Terrible customer service, had rats and mice in the house which took them weeks to sort. No credit checks on residents and even had the landlord and his family move in with us for a few weeks while they were renovating the house without any warning. The landlord even verbally attacked me when confronted to which Martin and co did nothing about, instead the evicted me. Terrible experience all round

I reported a problem with the hot water supply at a property managed by this office at 4.30 in the afternoon. This was dealt with by Inge Cooper and by 5.15 a plumber was on site restoring the water. I would like to especially praise Inga for her professional and friendly attitude whilst dealing with this, and the excellent follow up to ensure that all was well.

Especially Hannah and Inge always helped me during my letting and tenancy periods.They're absolutelly awesome ! ?f you have an issue, just send an email or call them then you'll see everything is going to be solved as soon as possible by them ! Previously this was a 5 star review - however, after the shocking end of tenancy service I have received I feel that I could never recommend Martin & Co, in particular the Yeovil branch, to anyone again. The amount of money they deducted from my deposit, having admitted that they provided the property in "not ideal" shape to start with, for "dusting" and a "non-professional standard of cleaning" and having increased my rent half way through my tenancy, I would avoid this agency in future - they are an unexpected set of costs and a headache waiting to happen, the niceness of the properties is not worth it.

We were very pleased with the excellent service we received from Emma and her team when we decided to sell our rental property. In dealing with the exit of the tenants, then with marketing the house and securing a purchaser within the month , as we live abroad we were dealing with everything by e.mail and Emma was able to resolve a number of potential hold ups as they arose to see us to a smooth Exchange and Completion. Personally I have been using Martin & Co for years and cannot recommend them enough. Jen helps manage and make renting for me as a landlord as easy as possible.
With Emma and the team they make things as straight forward as possible, take the stress out of renting, and provide great communication with options when there is a problem which needs addressing.

This agency were painful to book viewings, took forever to answer the phone and ages to reply to messages. I should of realised but I continued to use them. I paid my fee, that they 'mislaid' delaying my move in. The handover process was very unprofessional, the agreement was never sent to me to read before signing, then rushed to sign it in the office. No meeting at the property to show me round and then when I did come to leave no flexibility on meeting me at the house.

Martin's of Yeovil took over management of the house we rent a year ago. We had over the previous 6 years asked for a lot of remedial work to be done. It transpired that the previous agency had not informed the landlord.
When Martins and in particular, Jen Williams, came to see us things changed dramatically. The work outstanding which included damp issues were attended to in weeks and remedied very quickly. I must stress at this point this was in no way the fault of the landlord who had been misinformed and otherwise duped by the previous agents.
The professional and effective approach by Jen Williams and Martin's have resulted in a transformation of the property. Likewise, the landlord has ensured other repairs have been carried out.
I can only highly recommend Martin's of Yeovil.

Very difficult to even arrange a viewing with let alone the agent who dose the viewing for you actually seeming interested. How they manage to rent properties out to anyone is beyond me. Rude staff and don't bother to respond to emails either

We were told our house in Runnymede was going to sell quick and believe me it did! The day before it officially got listed. It unfortunately fell through but Ethan was already on the case and had it ready to be relisted. Within 48hrs it was sold! 4 months from us popping our heads in to being in our new place!

Impossible to book viewings at a weekend with these people (rental). I tried to book 3 properties to view, no attempt to fit me in at a weekend (apparently reduced staff only weekends & only open Sat morning!). Landlords - be wary - if you want tenants that are working, how are they going to view properties only during weekday working hours? I would have certainly taken one of these properties had I been able to view. Terrible customer service.
