I called ahead and was given the information I asked for, space, rental figure and purpose, I was advised bookings for viewings needed to be done at their office. I informed them we were on our way and would be there shortly. We went to the office and were asked to wait 5 - 10 minutes for the manager to arrange the viewing. We waited nearly 20 minutes and the manager hadn't turned up yet. We went back inside, and they apologised for the wait and gave a valid reason for the waiting time. They then informed us that the information we were given over the phone was incorrect, and the price was £100 higher than we were told before we got there. A complete waste of our time.... Read more

Awful agent don’t ever go to them they just want to take ur money away like ur money I’ve rented with them they don’t to do any work for me e.g if heating don’t work etc they are very unprofessional even the staffs there Even for a letter to prove the rent they charge £20 per a letter One of their stuff was laughing at an autistic child I will be reporting this agent on the gov website they need some serious attention... Worst estate agent - STAY AWAY! Not worth the money or the services they offer. After agreeing a sale with the agent, receiving the offer and instructing legal, Mayfair neglected to inform us that the seller was looking for other buyers (which they were aware of but didn't tell us until weeks into the process). Abortive spend on legal fees incurred and could have been prevented had Mayfair been more open. Tenant find service for a single let AST. Mayfair assured us that the prospective tenant was a professional business man and his wife. I asked to see employment records and payslips but again was assured they had been checked and could not be shared due to GDPR issues. 3 months later, the tenant has stopped paying rent and allegations of anti social behaviour and illegal drug activity in the property have emerged. Thanks to Mayfair's poor quality services & even poorer quality tenant checks we now have a very costly road ahead to secure possession of our property! Don't waste your money!... Read more
