If I could add another star I would. Selling my late mother's leasehold flat had become a nightmare and we were at our wits end and looking for a third Estate Agents when my sister found the MGY Barry Branch almost by accident. I could write a glowing report just about all the hoped for agents' services alone that they provided - eg: excellent marketing, maintaining consistent contact with us - reporting potential interest, feedback on every visit etc etc but that was just the assured background to the truly professional expertise that Vicci Shires provided. The real work was how she kept the process moving once we had an offer. We were unfortunate with our very tardy solicitors (a separate part of the nightmare) and Vicci knowledgeably, diligently and appropriately kept everything in motion from both ends (I’ve no doubt our buyer is as grateful as we are) keeping us fully informed about when we needed to intervene. In addition to which she was also consistently supportive and reassuring. I shudder to think how much longer the process would have taken without her! We are forever grateful!... Read more

I cannot praise or recommend MGY Estate Agents highly enough. My deceased Mum’s flat, which was in an excellent complex in a very sought after location almost at the seafront and beside a park, had been up for sale unsuccessfully for 22 months. This was because of 2 different and totally incompetent estate agents. The first agents resented answering the phone and kept us hanging on for months for a supposed “cash buyer” The second agents bigged up an auction style of selling, totally unsuitable for us and wasted another 6 months. During all this time the cost of council tax and utilities was mounting. As soon as MGY took on the flat they were so efficient. The way they marketed it was excellent and it attracted a lot of interest. My sister and I also really appreciated how they communicated with us after every visit to the property, and were always at the end of the phone for us. Within just over 2 months we had an offer. We then had a problem with our solicitors who were very slow but MGY kept them on the ball and always kept us in the loop. They are highly professional but warm and friendly. They did a terrific job for us.... Read more

Lee & Vicci are fabulous. Definately use MGY Barry to find your tenants. What I loved is they keep you informed every step of the way and they don't just put the first tenant in that applies, they find someone suitable which is so important to avoid future trouble.
