Very unprofessional, not sure how they get such a high rating.
I arranged a viewing of a property, that had to be done by the homeowner, as Milne Moser had nobody available to do the viewing, despite it being a midweek day and in normal business hours.
Received an email to confirm the viewing date and time, but instead of it stating that it was with the homeowner, another name had been put in place.
I attended the house viewing, which went ok and I informed the homeowner that I would need to go away and think about an offer.
I liked the property, but the price was too high for the current condition and I thought that it was best to wait for someone from Milne Moser to contact myself, to find out how the viewing went, if I wanted to put an offer in, etc, etc, as my offer may have been insulting to the homeowner, whom I didn’t want to upset, because they were such nice people.
I was awaiting contact from Milne Moser to discuss all of this, but I was never contacted by them, to see how the viewing went, or to see if I wanted to proceed any further.
If I was this homeowner, trying to sell my property, I would definitely go to an alternative estate agent, one who chases up possible sales, an estate agent that follows up on viewings, as every other estate agent that I have viewed a property with has done.
Milne Moser have contacted me numerous times via email, but only to sent me brochures of other properties on their books, despite them never asking me what my budget was, what type of property I was looking for, which area I preferred, any housing requirements etc, etc, just a bombardment of sales brochure emails, to which I have now unsubscribed from.
I would recommend going elsewhere, if you are looking to sell your property, as there are plenty of other estate agents looking for commission, ones who will put the effort in and push to sell your property.

Used Milne Moser for buying and then 3 years later selling my property. They are extremely lovely and get things done. The only thing that is annoying is whenever I rang, quite often it went to voicemail and no one would ring you back from your voicemail.
Emails were responded to very quickly so that was good and they would do everything they could for you.

I have recently bought a property through this estate agent. It started well with a good viewing and my offer was accepted at the beginning of December. It then took seven months to get to completion. Not directly the fault of the agents but they were not at all pro-active at getting the process moving. In fact I was told that once an offer had been accepted they were no longer involved. They were surprised when I told them after 5 months that I hadn't exchanged contracts - they seemed to be unaware of that fact. They only acted when I said I was going to pull out. This was such a contrast with my experience of selling my Midlands property.

A simple estate, a house, a will,
A process we thought would be swift and still.
But what followed was silence, delay, and despair,
As we waited for progress... that just wasn't there.
We emailed, we called, we nudged and we pled,
But updates were scarce, and clarity dead.
Probate took ages, the timeline unclear,
Each passing month built frustration and fear.
The charges kept rising, the interest accrued,
While we sat in limbo — ignored and subdued.
Could’ve cleared debts, could’ve paid down a loan,
But instead we just waited… and waited alone.
They said they were sorry, and shaved down the bill,
But the bitter taste lingered — we feel it still.

Requested a viewing for a rental property, asked for all my personal details including salary (why? few other letting agents do this at this stage), to then tell me a viewing was not available. We have found Milne Moser to be an outstanding estate agent and highly recommend them to sell your home. All the team are exceptional and most especially Amy and Paige who will be taking enquiries from viewers, managing viewings, handling offers and following up the selling progress. Our buyers also commented on how impressed they were with the team.
It really makes sense to have a professioanal local team who know the market and how to deal really effectively with issues that might arise in the selling process. Amy followed up with everyone involved in the chain, the buyes themselves, as well as their agents and solicitors. We chose Milne Moser solicitors too and highly recommend them, as they followed up all the complicated legal matters and the agent and solicitor worked really well together.
