Shaun, Gregory and Jane supported my family and I for entire 5 years we stayed at one of their rental properties. From the initial house showing, fixing issues during stay, down to check out. All done smoothly and timely manner. I can't recommend enough to anyone to use their service. Sad that we finally had to leave the property due to work move, but glad that we had them to ease our stay throughout.

Gregory Newcombe has been unfailingly courteous and responsive in all matters to do with showing the rental in the narrow timeframe available to me and all the follow up paperwork. He has been a pleasure to work with, has been willing to field a few calls from vendors who didn't want to call a non-UK cell number at the very beginning of the rental. He has been flexible, thoughtful and thorough. We rented the home through him and are happy in every way.

5 stars are not quite enough, that being said the phrase
”CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONALS” is the one that springs to mind.
They have managed property for me for some 8yrs now without drama or inconvenience with any change of tenant being dealt with very quickly and efficiently.
They received termination of the most recent on 15/12/24 which was let again from the 23/12/24, it doesn’t get much better than that
I have also recently introduced to them a friend of mine with a small portfolio of rental properties. He has also been very impressed with the speed and quality of the letting.
I have no doubt that their tenants receive the same exceptional service.

The whole process was very smooth and professional. No matter how many times we called or asked to see the property, Shaun and Gregory were both helpful and professional. We expressed the need to be into the place soon and they were able to help work that out for us, so for this, we are absolutely grateful. We walked away with the feeling that not only were our needs met, but that the agency was a well-ran and well-kept.
As my husband would say, we're in a 'strange land' and we needed all the comfort from those in the process to make us feel welcomed and that we would be fine (we relocated from Houston, TX to Cheltenham, with 2 kids in tow and one on the way). We are really looking forward to the next chapter of our lives in the UK, and Newcombe has gone over and beyond to secure for us, one of the most essential parts of our experience here... for this, we are ever-thankful! Generally good for rental services. But mixed when it came to selling, good in some places but quite disappointing in others. Had to be chased to move things along several times, multiple emails without responses, wrongly listed property in Kent. Always friendly but left with the feeling the sale wasn’t worth their time.

Could not have been any more impressed with the service we received from Newcombe Residential. Our house sale was a matter of weeks away from completion and with nowhere to live, Shaun was the only person that listened to our situation, and got us in to view and then secure a rental property within less than 2 days. Most other letting agents would only add me to a list of blocks viewings to compete with other potential tenants. We wouldn’t have been favoured by many landlords as we were only looking for a 1 year contract in-between selling and purchasing a new property but this didn’t stop Shaun when advising his client that we would be good tenants.
Shaun has been consistently friendly and personable and constantly kept us up-to-date. We cannot thank you enough and your wine is on the way!

Avoid Newcombe residential, especially if you are a female. Both Gregory and his colleague are stuck in the past and treat women who rent/buy from them terribly. As a tenant, I felt completely bullied by him. Whilst he appears to be incredibly professional and friendly in the beginning, he will quickly turn. I had to take my case to a lawyer. Of which I won. He is a chauvinistic misogynist. Please avoid giving him your business. I am not alone and have heard many other women have had this experience with this agency.

Amazing agents. After seeing over 20 properties where adverts were misleading or agents just could not answer questions. Shaun was amazing, time to view and not rushed. A real shame as the my first experience of Newcombe's was extremely positive, yet since Gregory has new staff, it really seems the business and its approach to its tenants has gone off course. What was once an agency that stood out from the rest now employs people who are part time, who take a long time to reply on emails. There seems to be a real lack of communication between the agents and though staff members have life experience, they don't seem to have industry experience which really shows.

Rented through Newcombe Residential for 5 years. Found them to be a very friendly and helpful letting agent. No issues setting up the let in the first place. Was all done promptly and professionally. Any of the issues encountered during the letting were resolved through them or their team of contractors very quickly. Also upon ending of the tenancy, all was completed to a very fair and satisfactory resolution, and I got full deposit back. Gregory is a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend! How all letting agents should behave.

Was not ripped off either (in fact received my full deposit back after giving the place a thorough clean) when it came to receiving my security deposit as is the case with some of the larger letting agents.
