Avoid this lettings agent at all costs. This was hands-down the worst renting experience I’ve ever had.
Emails were ignored for weeks, phone calls went unanswered, and when they did finally respond it was usually with excuses or empty promises. Meanwhile, we were left living with serious mould issues that they completely failed to deal with despite repeated complaints and clear evidence. It was unhealthy, stressful, and frankly disgraceful.
To make matters worse, getting our deposit back became another nightmare. After moving out, they dragged the process out for well over a month with little to no communication, despite us constantly chasing them. Every interaction felt like they were hoping we’d just give up.
Completely unprofessional, negligent, and indifferent to tenants once they’ve got your money. I would never rent through them again and strongly recommend others steer clear.

I’ve had several properties managed by Nicholas Humphreys in Wimborne, and over the past six months one thing has really stood out: how well they keep me informed about all the government changes around the Renters’ Rights Act. They’re the only agent in Wimborne to hold a landlords’ event, which was fantastic and so helpful. A special mention to Tabitha for managing our properties so smoothly, and to Emily for turning my property around with zero void periods. If you want peace of mind, they’re the only agent to go to.

AVOID AT ALL COST !!!!
Unfortunately, my experience with this estate agents was utterly shocking.
After agreeing to rent a property that was fully furnished, I was really happy moving forward with this.
I will say this Emily was fantastic from the start to finish.
Unfortunately, Emily received an email from the landlord stating that he was going to remove some of the furniture from the property that I’d agreed to move into.
I was disappointed, Especially as the landlord was going to remove the TV rugs and tables.
I was not in a financial position to purchase these items so I had to pull out.
At this time they are Refusing to refund my deposit.
I will leave this review on until I’m refunded.
If you are continuing to see this review, I never got my money back..

After moving into the property in March 2024, we immediately reported paint peeling around the house. This was reported in the inventory, by email and via the maintenance portal at the time. we never heard anything about this.
Fast forward to June/July 2025 and we noticed the cupboard under the stairs was damp. We reported this immediately via email and called the estate agents.
Since then we have sent numerous emails and phone calls, and have only just had the damp surveys done which have confirmed damp.
Meanwhile, we have also found the boiler pressure valve is broken and it is leaking. Meaning we cannot use the heating without repressurizing the valve, which we were advised to do even though this could cause further damage to the property...
After calling Nicholas Humphreys again, i was hung up on mid conversation, after explaining an occupant has health conditions that are affected. No attempt to call back. I called 2 more times to resume my call, and the phone line rang out.
Unfortunately, this is how communication has always been with this letting agents. Not calling back when the line goes dead, being passed round the office, no one to actually contact via email, emails being missed or not responded to.
If you are a landlord considering this company, look elsewhere. And if you are a prospective tenant Id suggest you do the same.
Extremely dissapointed with the services provided (or not).

Very dishonest, awful communication and to top it off farm your data. I was the first person to ring this agent about a lovely property that had just come on the rental market within 5 minutes of being listed. The property was not ready for viewings as the tenants were still in the property. I was promised by Emily, a call back the following day to arrange a viewing but did not receive that call. I then rang the following day, by which point of course the viewings were filled but managed to be fitted in at nearly the end of a full day of viewings. After viewing, showing our keen interest and offering a higher deposit, we were promised call backs on many occasions updating us on our application. I noticed over two weeks after the viewing, that the property was Let Agreed so called for an update and she stated the landlords of the property were coming in "that day" (how convenient) and we would receive a call by the end of the day. Firstly, again, that call never came, secondly, why lie knowing the let has already been agreed? She also mentioned that the landlords were an elderly couple, and I’m not sure how that was relevant? What a strange lie to come up knowing full well the property was off the market? That could have just been said straight away. To top it all off, we have had none stop scam emails since giving over our email addresses to this estate agents. We will never be giving over our personal email address again to any of these snake estate agents again. We are quite glad to have avoided living in a property managed by Nicolas Humphrey's, because if we had an issue, we can imagine just how poor the communication and delayed the resolution would be as tenants. We would know doubt face a web of lies about something as simple as a boiler being fixed! Shady, absolutely terrible communication and dishonest - Avoid.

7 Georges Mews, Corfe Mullen, BH21 3UF we viewd this property last week I think it was Emily if am wrong sorry we where made feel welcome from me that's a massive thing as I suffer fro complex ptsd I had so anxicity but getting took round the house knowing our circumstances I really recommend this company for fellow vetreans looking for a house or we are used to having our own accommodation and food so it's hard to find a place where u feel comfortable and tbh I loved the house I thought staff member made me feel more at ease and totally love that house we don't have the flat yet but Are it's in quite area which I like and just prying we get chance to take on the flat and have a good relationship with the letting agency to as they where amaing......

I want to preface this review by saying that prior to becoming Nicholas Humphreys, we never had any complaints with Harker & Bullman in Wimborne, as tenants. However, since being acquired we found the service absolutely awful. Not only that but upon vacating, we ended up in a TDS Dispute as the agents were trying to unfairly deduct from our deposit for so called 'fees' which we never saw any evidence for. Unsurprisingly, we won the dispute and got our deposit back but this took months. I personally would avoid Nicholas Humphreys at all costs.

I spent nearly three months working with a well-known lettings agent trying to rent out my flat. I believed it was an attractive rental, so it was disheartening and frustrating not to see any progress. I reached out to Emily on a Friday, and she immediately made time to come over the same day, took new photos, and had viewings arranged for that weekend. By early the following week, I had a tenant lined up. Throughout the process, she kept me updated, guided me on aspects I was unfamiliar with, and made sure I felt heard and reassured. I can't recommend her highly enough—Emily is a true professional, efficient, and a breath of fresh air. Don't hesitate to use her for your letting needs.

The owner of the company was very helpful, after raising the issue I had with him direct he followed it up within 24 hours and visited my property to address the issue. He is currently investigating this internally and is keeping me updated during the process.

Probably the worse letting agents I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with.
The first appointment was cancelled 10 minutes before viewing when I was already on site after driving an hour to get there.
The second appointment was a sure thing according to their lettings team and again, it was cancelled right at the last minute. Imagine letting these guys letting out your property.
Absolutely appalling service. I’m glad I never ever rented a property from them.

We rented from Harker and Bullman for just over 5 years, they were easy to deal with throughout and always answered the phone during office hours. Karen was our property manager and she was always really friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn't like were the 6 monthly tenant checks, these were unconfortable where they stated they "were coming on x day and would let themselves in if you weren't present." It makes it difficult to feel like it's your home but Karen was always flexible with the time as we always preferred to be there rather than having anyone in and having a look around, I feel if you have been a tennant for long enough you should be trusted. They would also benefit from a list of traders on their website that they would prefer you to contact out of hours, we had to do this on two occasions but there was no issue with our choosing. When it came to being able to move onto a flexible contact as we were buying Harker and Bullman were great and communicated well with our landlord and were fair throughout. There were some things we would have liked to have rectified whilst we were tenants, for example we had completely misted up kitchen windows for about two years but this comes down to the landlord and I feel overall we were extremely satisfied with H&B. Tracy from the Wimborne office was an absolute star. We had lots of viewings and dealing with so many agencies however I can honestly say Tracy Brazil by far was simply the best. She understood our needs and acted on it immediately and professionally. She treated us with respect and explained the whole process from start to finish. She was very friendly, helpful and my girls absolutely loved dealing with her. She stepped in and helped out during the process with a smile and nothing was too much trouble for her. Her calm and collective manner gave us the confidence in dealing with her. If it wasn't for Tracy we wouldn't have dealt with Harker and Bullman in the first place.she is a real credit to her company and we are very grateful for all her support and for making our journey such a fantastic one. Having found myself newly single and soon to be homeless, my new home search was appearing to be fruitless until I found a property advertised by Harker & Bullman. I called to make the initial query, my details were taken and within a few minutes, Tracy returned my call, took my details and an appointment for a viewing was made. I arrived at the property to be met by Amanda who showed myself and a friend round. What a gorgeous property. Following my viewing, Tracy promptly emailed all the relevant forms that needed completing. I had two days to get these completed. Early on the Saturday morning, I had the call from Amanda that I had secured the property. On the following Monday all the relevant tenancy check forms were sent out and within two days my tenancy agreement had been received for signing. The landlord was making improvements to the property and I was kept updated all the way through. I found Tracy and Amanda to be very friendly, helpful and professional and would highly recommend them to everyone.
There were a couple of issues with the property when I moved in. Nikita, the Property Manager, arranged for these to be sorted within a few hours and the minimum of fuss.
If you rent a property through Harker & Bullman, you will not be making a mistake. Very professional, friendly and helpful firm.

Finding a property that’s available, that ticks all of the boxes, and that doesn’t have a million applicants, is next to impossible at the moment. That is of course unless you use Harker and Bullman. We received what felt like a personal service, whilst trying to find our new home, and all credit has to go to Tracy. She went above and beyond her responsibilities as an estate agent to make sure that we knew about properties before they came on the market, and kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. Viewed a lovely property which we went through the application process for, even offered extra 6 months rent as we were so keen on going ahead. Took 5 days to hear back to say we were unsuccessful, rude lady on the phone who when I asked why it had taken so long/why we werent chosen for this property, she said they don’t like to ‘harass’ landlords... harass and communicate with are different things in my eyes having worked in sales. I was then rushed off the phone and have since found a property made an offer and paid deposit in same day. If you want anything doing quickly as new renters avoid this one!
Have received an apology from the manager which I fully accept and understand we are in difficult times but was very disappointed with the service we were given.
