Oakwood did an incredible job of selling our flat, despite tough market conditions and trying to get this over the line for years. We were letting out the flat, and they managed all the viewings with no stress to ourselves. Once we got an offer through, they were superb at keeping us updated on a regular basis, pushing the right parties or asking us to push where needed. Very grateful for all of Alban's help and hard work on this sale.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I have put 5 stars for the sole purpose of gathering everyone’s attention. I would give this company less than zero if I could it’s an absolute SCAM! Myself and several other customers have used this company to manage our property. The tenants have been paying rent but Oakwood estate agency has WITHHELD and REFUSED to release the payments to us as the landlords. When we call they refuse to direct the call to Daniel the owner of the business and he is always apparently out of office, they don’t reply to complaints and give no explanation as to why several months rent has not been paid to the customers! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Awful service with letting my property and not to be trusted. I was recieving delayed payments for over a year and only recieved them because I was chasing regularly. Since March the payments have just stopped. Chased multiple times I now get radio silence no response from emails and fobbed off with "They are not in the office now can I take a message when I call". No responses no, no money. Avoid like the plague.

As a landlord, you expect a better service from them. They did not release a tenants deposit (for two properties), they withheld rent for no reason, very slow to respond. Now they don't even bother picking up the phone or responding to emails.
I would not recommend them, nor would I ever use them again. Nightmare estate agents!!!!!!!!!
Seems like they are only focused on the sales side, not lettings.

Reviews regarding tenancy management are all accurate. Tenants have been recommended to us twice by one of the agents here, and for both tenancies, the tenants defaulted in rental payments.
Second, we have been chasing up deposits to be returned/released for months and months and absolutely no response. Ignored emails, call into office and apparently who I need to speak to is out on appointments or finished for the day (even at 2pm in the afternoon).
Purchased two properties with them and subsequently gave them to manage... wouldn't do ever again unfortunately.

Jan 2024: I have had a very good service so far with the tenants recommended by the agency. The tenants are delaying the rental payment though every month which is starting to add a significant amount of anxiety. Hoping the agency helps resolve this. I will update the status here.
Update 27-Jan: No commitment from tenants on when the failed rental payment will be paid and agency has not been able to get a concrete answer. Starting to cause severe stress as a landlord. I hope the agency resolves the issue.
Update 04-Mar: Rent is being defaulted again. Financial and mental stress continues over multiple months.
Update 07-June: Tenants vacated with default rental arrears. Been chasing agents for return of deposit. Will increase rating if addressed proactively.

I wouldn't recommend as letting agents. They do not contact you at all with any information unless you contact them first and I often had to chase even the most basic of things. It was a very stressful experience so I decided to move to a different estate agents.

Very poor management. Booked viewing cancelled while near the property after two hour drive for viewing. Agent Marie called and cancelled the viewing 'it's under offer'. Price of the property was only reduced yesterday after I booked the viewing.
