Parker’s were fantastic during our house sale and house purchase - Parker’s sold our house the day it went on the market and we were amazingly able to move in just 10 weeks after offering.
The whole process was very smooth, lots of communication and a lovely team overall at Parker’s.
Emma and Chanelle had regular contact with us and chased solicitors regularly and kept us up to date. They were both very helpful.
Luke was also great and there at any point if we needed him. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly reccomend.

He had really done his homework on the house we were viewing and was able to answer so many questions. I wish all agents were as thorough ash Theo is. I don't say that lightly, as middle age buyers we had lots of queries and questions and needed reassurance, and all of these guys at Parkers, were kind, patient, helpful and reassuring. Hello, if you don't like reading long reviews, please just take my word that Parkers are amazing and you should 100% go with them.
Parkers have been great from the very start, Theo was the one to show myself and my partner around our home. He is very kind and helpful, he happily answered any questions that we had. Then when we booked the second viewing he kept the same kind attitude. He's very professional and helpful.
After we made an offer on our home Luke was looking after us and straight away you could tell that he knows what he is talking about. He has many years of experience and he guided me in the right direction. I believe he had a big influence on us getting our offer accepted, I will never forget the feeling I had when he told me.
Chanelle kept in touch regularly, checking in on the progress of the purchase and always replied to my emails in a timely manner also very helpful.
We have dealt with many Estate Agents while on the hunt for our home and non of them even come close to how amazing Parkers have been. Highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant service. Luke put a fair price on the house, did a “coming soon” video and had the first viewing before it even hit RightMove. Theo and Melissa covered constant viewings, a minimum of two a day and in under 2 weeks I had an offer I accepted. I have found all the agents that I have dealt with at Parkers to be efficient and friendly from the initial viewing to the handing over of keys. Constant updates were given which enabled me to give instructions and those updates to my solicitor. Simon, Luke and Melissa dealt with me, each on several occasions. When my sister died of cancer at 55 last year, I was unfamiliar with the Newbury market, having moved to Cheltenham in 2006. I contacted 3 local agents. Parkers particularly kept in touch during the probate period when I could not sell the house but not in a pushy manner. Luke's ensuing valuation visit and explanation of their sales and marketing was the most impressive and I certainly did not regret my decision. 15 viewings within the first 3 days of the house going to market and 2 proceedable full asking price offers within a week! And that wasn't because the price was low ball-it was the highest valuation of the 3 agents in fact. The WhatsApp group that Parkers created with me as admin was very useful for updates and they kept me informed right through to exchange. I cannot recommend Luke, Simon, Melissa and the team highly enough!

We completed on our house purchase with Parkers just before Christmas, and from the very start the team were fantastic. They had great availability for viewings and we were able to see the property quickly with Luke who was really friendly and knowledgeable.
From our offer being accepted to exchange took just 5 weeks, Simon and Luke were great throughout the whole process and kept us well informed of progress from their end. Both were on hand to answer any questions we had, and quickly followed up with our seller when required.
On completion day everything went super smoothly, we were able to collect our keys early and the team even dropped off a card and bottle of bubbles to welcome us to our new home! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Parkers, and if we were to sell in Newbury we’d definitely use them in future!

As first time buyers, we were completely clueless and somewhat nervous about the whole buying a house thing. Right from the very first time we met Luke, he was absolutely amazing. Super kind, helpful, chatty, went above and beyond to help us over every step of the way. Lots of texts and phone call updates to keep us in the loop. We were getting super stressed and worries with our mortgage offer but Luke was constantly texting and reassuring us everything was okay and keeping us calm which alone meant the world to us. We also had a little hiccup with a viewing time but Ken, also went above and beyond and came out straight away for us for the viewing. Stayed way past his finish time, again, meant the world to us and this just goes to show the amazing people at Parkers estate agent Newbury. Also a big thank you to Simon handling all the house admin too. 110% recommended, couldn’t be happier, couldn’t ask for better people. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Simon and his team from Parker’s ( Newbury Branch) in purchasing a new property in Thatcham and I am so happy that I did. Simon has been very professional , efficient, proactive and very quick to respond to all my emails and to answer all the questions I asked.
Simon really kept on top of the progression of the purchase, even having to chase the solicitors who I felt were slow and not very responsive at times.
I have not always had the best experience with estate agents but my experience with Simon and his team at Parker’s has restored my confidence that there are some great estate agents out there.

Excelent! Reluctant about other estate agents as they tried to push and sell as much as possible. Parkers are a very professional, proactive and responsive Newbury estate agent who did a great job selling our flat. They had a small dedicated highly experienced team working on the sale & sales progression, which made the process much smoother. Communication was very good and we could always get hold of someone senior dealing with our sale when needed. This was in stark contrast to another local agent who we'd used previously, who had more junior staff, who were hard to reach and a lot of unnecessary duplication of contact with staff in their head office. Luke the manager was really good to deal with. He had a good feel for the local market and found a buyer very quickly and effective negotiating the sale price. Their rates were very competitive and their marketing approach leading edge, with launch videos, great 360 degree tours and professional photos. Simon the Director handling Sales Progression was also valuable, especially when our buyers' solicitor was really very slow, he kept chivvy them along. I would highly recommend using them.

The professionalism of Parkers has been amazing and we thank you! Luke who showed us round the property was on time, answered all our questions and queries we had in record time. We felt that we were in safe hands with Luke throughout the process.

Simon had noticed my house had been for sale for some time and in fact he approached me with regards to Parkers continuing expansion into the Newbury area.
Previously I had tried to sell through several of the long established Newbury and Thatcham estate agents. The sale had fallen through a couple of times for various different reasons; Covid and timing the market had not helped. I had also experienced very disappointing levels of service from all of them. I thought I had nothing to lose by trying Parkers, but to be honest my hopes were not high. I told Simon I wanted results or I had other plans for my house.
The contrast between the service I experienced from Parkers and the other estate agents I had used could not have been more different.
It was quickly advertised online and the promotional video went live soon afterwards. The viewings were grouped in back-to-back appointments over several weekends. The feedback from each viewing was detailed and timely. Every single communication I had with Parkers, especially from Ellie and Emma was spot on. I had expected this from the other estate agents, but sadly it was lacking from all of them.
Within just 28 days of my house being advertised, I had accepted an offer. There were 17 viewings in total and 3 offers from different buyers, 2 of which were above the asking price. Amazing - I couldn’t have asked for any more!
Simon and his team duly rose to the challenge, and they got me the result I wanted with flying colours. To summarise, no other local estate agent came close to what Parkers achieved for me.
P.S. I rarely give any testimonials but I’ve made an exception in this case because it was very well deserved and the service was impressive.
