Selina is the person whose help you want when selling your house. Simultaneously diplomatic and no-nonsense, she took charge of the whole chain for us, and her leadership amongst the numerous people involved was undoubtedly a key reason that our transaction proceeded without any drama. Her recommendations for third parties all turned out to be excellent (tradespeople, legal, surveyors), and I cannot see what more she could have done. It’s reasonable to think that a heavily pregnant woman, a house sale and some fairly challenging conditions might be a recipe for chaos and stress but add Patrick Gardner into the mix and you get a very different result. I’d worked with Patrick Gardner years before and they were excellent, but time had moved on when we instructed our estate agents and I honestly had no idea what to expect. Jamie, Selina and Paul all came across as helpful and friendly, but let’s be real, if you wanted my business, wouldn’t you?
The weeks and interactions that followed were nothing short of remarkable. Jamie took the reins and handled the negotiations, there were some frustrating stumbling blocks, requests from buyers I’d never had before, and difficulty in agreeing an exchange date. Not to mention an exchange on a Thursday followed by a request for us to move the following Friday, just two weeks off my due date, with a husband that works full time. Not exactly the easiest conditions.
Jamie handled everything with a positive attitude and his conversations with me were always upbeat and enjoyable but, most importantly, candid. I’ve sold houses before, but we had a lot going on, and I greatly valued his honest guidance throughout the entire process. Quick to respond, always available, especially during crunch time, and always a pleasure to interact with.
Jamie would likely say he was just doing his job, but my husband and I believe that he went above and beyond to get our sale over the line on a number of occasions and for that, we, and our very imminent addition, are hugely grateful! Thanks to Patrick Gardner, and Jamie specifically, an exchange happened in a tough market when there were genuinely days I thought it never would.
I won’t be questioning how authentic the helpful and friendly approach of the team at Patrick Gardner are again. They have a culture that other estate agents lack and I think anyone would be a fool not to instruct them with something as important as a house sale.

Working in the industry, I know more than most about the process and emotions involved in selling a property, and I have high expectations of anyone I work with.
Paul gave an honest review of the house, and the drone footage offered really sold the property setting.
Selina pushed hard to get the best price that suited both parties and presented the buyers' full position and financial situation in great detail to give me the comfort needed to accept. I was updated without prompting, and the whole sale transaction went smoothly.

The Lettings Manager - Ben, is simply amazing. We viewed a property with Ben, both my wife and were made to feel welcome and un-rushed when looking around. Ben was also full of knowledge and every question we asked he was able to give us an answer. Estate agents often get a bad rap but that's because most are terrible and believe me, that is true, because we have dealt with several.
Our experience with Patrick Gardner and Ben, even though our offer wasn't successful, has been nothing short of great! Ben is already on the look out for other properties that meet our requirements and provides us with regular updates. If you're after great service in a no pressure, no rush environment then this is the team to be working with!

We were approached by Jamie regarding the sale of a portfolio consisting of two adjoining properties which were quite unique, grade II listed and only suitable for a cash buyers. The purchase should have been straight forward but was unfortunately substantially delayed by the sellers. Without Jamies’ professionalism and almost daily contact I have no doubt that we would be still waiting for the sellers and their legal team to be ready to exchange! Cannot thank Patrick Gardner in Dorking and particularly Hannah enough for all they have done for us over the past 18 months. We have finally exchanged on properties and are moving in May. Our chain collapsed a number of times due to no fault of ours or theirs but every time they were able to find us a new buyer very quickly. We gave up hope on many occasion but Hannah never did.
