Over the years we’ve worked on complex land sales, residential sales and rentals together, we’ve encountered challenges along the way but having always relied on Percival’s expert knowledge and understanding of the market to successfully see us through. Our rental properties remain with them today. We find Percival’s proactive, quick to respond and very much appreciate their solution focussed approach. Would highly recommend.

100% recommend Percival & Company - after using a rubbish estate agent for my sale, I wish I had picked Percival as they were amazing to work with for my purchase. Georgina was so easy to speak to, to get hold of and a pleasure to work with ! She really helped get the whole chain across the line towards the end, when other agent/solicitors were not as helpful or bothered! When it’s time to move on from our new purchase, I will not hesitate in using Percival as my agent.

Over a 1 year tenancy I found the staff rude and dismissive. I’m not expecting the world as estate agents are busy but some simple people skills and manners wouldn’t go a miss. This is a shame as the property I rented was lovely but the poor maintenance of it and general attitude of the agents meant I did not want to renew the tenancy. I would absolutely not recommend as a tenant however as a landlord it may be a better experience. Despite the general rep of franchised agents, in a month with them I have found them to be far more personable, approachable and willing to help.

Eternally grateful to Georgina & Claire at Percivals. Thanks to their amazing efforts and constant communication we were able become homeowners in the most amazing village. Moving as most people know is one of the most stressful things you can do, our move was laced with hurdles and issues (none of which was coming from Percivals). However Georgina and the team would always help to guide us and at times when we believed the move wasn't possible they provided hope. To say they went above and beyond is still putting it lightly. Great trustworthy company. We rented a flat in Earls Colne for 2+ years. Service was great. Georgina who managed our property was always quick to respond to any repairs that needed carrying out throughout our tenancy. We were also impressed with how they dealt with our handover. Percivals recognised that we had looked after the property and we feel that they were very fair with regards to returning our deposit.

Many thanks to Georgina and the team for all their hard work handling the sale of our property, always remaining positive and upbeat which made the whole process a pleasure (as much as selling a house can be anyway!).
We chose Percival and Company because when we’d viewed properties with Georgina B we’d always felt relaxed and not being sold to and wanted anyone viewing our property to feel the same way. The whole team (Georgina F and Claire) seem to have the same calm and friendly approach.
They also live in Earls Colne and with our property attracting buyers from London we felt having people sell it who could also sell the village was a big bonus.
Our house was sold to the first viewer at close to the asking price in a week and completed within 3 months.
Thanks once again Georgina and the team for all your hard working pushing the rest of the chain along when other agents and solicitors in the chain were dragging their feet. You earned your commission and deserved some of the other agents’ commission also!
Great friendly local estate agent, totally recommended to anyone who wants a smooth and pleasant move.
