Having recently sold our parents house through Peter Alan Morriston, I can only say that I would STRONGLY advise anyone to steer clear. My sister and I have found them to be totally inefficient, poor communication and lacking local knowledge. Firstly, they could see the condition on the house and I presume would know the local value, but were WAY out on price, which I believe was over inflated to get us to go with them. Secondly, they would rarely get back to us when leaving a message, as you could rarely get through. Plus we would give them answers to queries from the vendor, then a few days later they would ring us back saying the vendor was worried as they had received no reply and yet THEY had not passed on the message. Also, they had been trying and trying (apparently) to contact the buyer's estate agents to ask necessary questions and could never get through, I tried the same today, spoke to them and the matter was resolved!? Many a time it seems like the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing, because somebody was off on holidays and hadn't relayed the message. All in all we found them utterly useless and if it wasn't for the fact that we were so far down the road, we would have changed. Our advice is to steer clear, you have been warned!!!

Joe, the rental Manager has been amazing helping us find our family home. Professional friendly attitude, constant contact and updates, good advice and engaged. Its incredibly hard to find suitable affordable rentals in the current market which makes the process very stressful. We tried several other agents prior to meeting Joe at Peter Alan Morriston and they all fell horribly short on the service they're employed to give prospective tenants. I have a rental property in Morriston, which I have always managed myself privately. After my last tenant moved out I decided to use Peter Alan Morriston branch to fully manage my rental property. Since day one Joseph Johns has made the whole process so easy for me. He found a tenant within days of the property going on the market and sorted everything so the tenants were able to move in as soon as the house was ready. I would highly recommend Joe for his friendly and professional manner and I know that he is always there to answer any questions I have. I was ready to move to another company from Peter Alan as I did not have very good customer service. Then came along Joe Johns who went way out of his way to persuade me to stay by showing me the way he deals with customers I changed my mind. He is always on the end of the phone when you need him, even after work. If the company had more people like Joe Johns working for them, their business would go from strength to strength. Been renting with this agency in swansea for the last 9 months. Terrible experience, no maintenance issued getting fixed. Staff and landlord not helpful even in emergencies as water leaks. Very slow to react and don’t care. Photos attached

Moving in to a 3-bed house today that I absolutely adore which would not have been possible if Anthony never recommended it. My sister and I wanted something very spacious and comfortable for a family of 4, the first house I viewed did not instantly kick in. Anthony was very kind and patient to listen to our needs, and was able to advise us on not settling for something that we would later regret suggesting that it might be better if we looked at other houses. So he recommended a different house and the rest they say is history. The process was seamless. From viewing the house with Louie who was so sweet to signing all required documents with Anthony. He was always available for any questions we had even when he was out of office at some point, and kept us frequently updated on the next steps. I’m excited to begin this journey with Peter Alan.

Just exchanged after putting our house up for sale with Peter Alan. Tor really knows the market and ensured we got a quick sale so we didnt miss out on another property. Unfortunately, a negative review has been left for Peter Alan after we chose not to sell to one couple, this was completely our choice after being given the feedback of all those who offered and Tor did a fantastic job keeping us informed with the updates. The photographer that was used made our home look its best and we were able to pop in to branch where Teegan was on hand to help with sending paperwork back and forth solicitors. Thank you for all of your help to the whole Morriston branch team

Absolutely shocking service with these lot, if you are looking to rent off Peter Alan, please don't save yourself the hassle.
I was living in the flat for 4 years they took another months rent after leaving. They didn't respond to my emails which left me with no money during Christmas. They are completely against their tenants, they ignored all of my maintenance requests during living at my flat in parc gwernfadog.
The Landlord is trying to claim the entire deposit which is absolute joke, claiming that they needed it to paint two rooms and cleaning.
Peter Alan have just been against me since Day 1 of handing in my leaving notice.
When I paid for my last months rent which was good for another TWO WEEKS after leaving, they were bringing people inside my flat for viewings whilst I was cleaning and packing up, which is very impatient in my opinion and rude.
The people in the Cardiff branch have been extremely lazy at dealing with any issues, they basically give you the run around passing you on to other people until you end up with the same person you were talking to, they are basically a bunch of kids trying to irritate you in the process.
Do yourself a favour, don't rent from any of their properties, bunch of scumbags that suck up to the landlords and don't look after their tenants at all.

I'm usually only giving reviews for outstanding services. However this time I have to give the worst score possible as it is embarassing what happened to my partner and myself.
We had a viewing of a house in which my partner could not attend due to work issues. The house was the perfect fit for us, so we sent an offer for it. The offer got accepted straight away in a couple of days, so we submitted all the paperwork needed to assure we could buy the house. The paperwork was ok, so then we called them to see the property again, as my partner could not see it yet. You know, you would not buy something you could never see! She wanted to see it because the kitchen was a bit small and we were planning on expanding it, so we wanted to revisit the house just to imagine how to do that. Then, when asking for it, a lady called Kimberly (sorry if there is a typo with the name, I'm spanish and have difficulties on understanding the names by phone) - just was telling us she should get back to the house owner as we might not be interested in the house. She also told us that we had made her spend so much time on us and that there are many offers which are holding. That this was not nice and she was quite upset about that.
I called her afterwards to let her understand that we were 100% interested in it. We just wanted to do a viewing again so my partner could see it! But she kept avoiding that, never listening to what I was saying. I tried to tell her that our first language is not English (we are from Spain), and that maybe I did not express myself well enough.
The next day she calls us just to explain us that the offer has been given to another customer, as "my partner declarations could not be accepted, and that they were very concerned that we might not go for an offer". At that point I tried to just explain the situation again, but she just told me: "It's not my decision, it's the owners who decided that". But my question remains: Why do the owners know? You just told them you had concerns about us, so they just believed you! That's why.
Anyway, this is how they treat (foreign?) customers that are willing to offer a fair price for a lamentable service.
I will just conclude this essay with the same words I received from the fabulous lady: "Allright love, take care alright? See youuu :*"

What a service?! I don’t know if I would have got through the minefield of buying my first home without the staff at Peter Alan Morriston. Sophie and Tiegan have been wonderful with house viewings, getting answers to my questions (there were a lot. Sorry) and they never made me feel like a question was a silly question and negotiating my offers.
Mortgage advice and support for Paul as been something else. He has taken the time to explain everything to me. He has gone through all the different products and really find what is best for me. He’s not once made me feel like appointments are rush. I feel fully informed regarding the processes, service and products. A very personal and professional service.
I have felt very supported by all staff from the first phone call to today. We still have a little way to go before things are finished and I have the keys but if the service to date is anything to go by I am in very safe hands.
A massive thank you to all at Peter Alan Morriston.

I went to one estate agent and I couldn’t make no sense of there fees contract length etc seemed like they weren’t that bothered.
I contacted Peter Alan and what a breath of fresh air when I met jade. I was told the fees straight away. She realy put my mind to rest. After signing with them there photographer was excellent.
Natasha in the office and stevie would phone me every other day with up dates and they sold the hiuse within weeks I was shocked.and they also have there own solicitors who done everything for me.

As a first time buyer the whole process has been quite daunting at first. But having viewed a property with Peter Alan Morriston branch and having an offer accepted I have found it a great experience the estate agent that took me on my viewing was very helpful and keen to ask the vender on any questions that she was unable to answer. My correspondence with the office afterwards with Jade has been an absolute pleasure she is very friendly, polite and helpful giving me all the information I needed and being able to answer any questions or concerns that I had being new to the housing market. Have recently called into the Morriston branch and dealt with Callum he was more than helpful. I went in the branch to arrange a viewing, got this booked in, got registered and arranged an appointment with Jessica the mortgage advisor to make sure I am doing everything the correct way. I dealt with James Froude to let a house in Morriston. But I live in Devon and was not able to come to Swansea myself. We therefore did everything over the phone and email which meant James had to do a lot of extra leg work, including the re-registering of both gas and electric meters.
He was everything one would desire in a lettings agent achieving many viewings and a quick tenancy.with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency.

We had been trying to sell our house for a year. We had used 3 different estate agents prior to Peter Alan (with some not great experiences along the way). After improvements to the house we listed the property with Peter Alan. Josh from Peter Alan Morriston branch visited the property. We wanted to use Peter Alan all along but were always that little bit more expensive than the other agents. We met with Josh after he took the photos and we agreed which photos we would use in the advert. We immediately had significant interest and sold out property a day after it was advertised for very close to the asking price on the first viewing with at least another 4 other viewings lined up. Peter Alan are more expensive but guess we are proof you get what you pay for. With Josh the experience being one of team work whilst compiling the brochure with him and us having some great photos which combined made for a great brochure. Compiling the brochure was a great experience with Josh as he recognised we had very definite ideas but reined these in when needed! Josh was very personable and he was only the second agent of the 4 we used who we felt really got what the house was about and could potentially pass that enthusiasm we. Thanks to Josh at the Morriston branch and Alex at the Gorseinon branch for sorting everything out once we received the offer. Truly the Mercedes of estate agents in our experience!
