Peter Alan Pontypridd is fundamentally unfit to operate and should be permanently shut down. This office demonstrates a lethal lack of competency regarding mandatory housing laws, leaving tenants in properties with severe, illegal safety hazards. By completely ignoring fundamental statutory regulations, they actively endanger human lives while exposing their landlord clients to massive legal fines, criminal liability, and Rent Smart Wales license revocations. Full evidence has been submitted to Rent Smart Wales and Rhondda Cynon Taf Environmental Health for formal investigation. Do not trust this agency with your property or your life—they are a public danger.

Harry at the lettings department of the blackwood branch guided me through a difficult re-let after the property was left much the worse for wear.<br>He was both friendly and professional and sorted out all the issues we came across swiftly and efficiently.<br>I have got a great new tenant and couldn't be happier with the service I received.

Sarah Phillips, over two consecutive Mondays showed us around 10 properties. Sarah was wonderful, full of enthusiasm and personality. More like a friend than a sales negotiator. We recently sold our property through Peter Alan. The branch were helpful and always willing to assist. We have no complaints about the branch team at all.<br><br>Unfortunately, our experience with the sales progression service was very disappointing. Communication was poor, emails often went unanswered and we regularly had to chase for updates ourselves.<br><br>Completion was also poorly handled, with our purchase agent contacting us first to tell us our sale had completed.<br><br>We emailed Peter Alan afterwards to explain our concerns, but we still haven't heard anything back from the sales progressor, which is particularly disappointing.<br><br>It’s a shame, as our experience with the branch team was very positive. However, based on the overall experience, we wouldn't use Peter Alan again and would be reluctant to recommend them.<br><br>Thank you again to the branch.

I am writing this review to warn other landlords considering Peter Alan for fully managed letting services.<br><br>My experience as a landlord with their fully managed service has been unacceptable:<br><br>1. Inadequate Property Oversight: Regular, thorough property inspections were severely neglected. When inspections did occur, they were superficial and failed to report obvious issues.<br><br>2. Property Damage Ignored: Direct tenant damage to the property was brushed off and incorrectly dismissed as "normal wear and tear," leaving me with the responsibility and cost.<br><br>3. Zero Communication & Ignored Grievances: Emails went unanswered for extended periods. Formal complaints regarding their poor management standards were routinely ignored.<br><br>4. Financial & Accounting Errors: Statements contained accounting inaccuracies, and fees were charged for services that were never requested or agreed upon.<br><br>5. Failure to Release Account: When I formally terminated our contract due to their fundamental breach of service duties, they refused to acknowledge the termination or cooperate with the handover to my new agent, continuing to attempt to issue automated demands.

Having recently sold our parents house through Peter Alan Morriston, I can only say that I would STRONGLY advise anyone to steer clear. My sister and I have found them to be totally inefficient, poor communication and lacking local knowledge. Firstly, they could see the condition on the house and I presume would know the local value, but were WAY out on price, which I believe was over inflated to get us to go with them. Secondly, they would rarely get back to us when leaving a message, as you could rarely get through. Plus we would give them answers to queries from the vendor, then a few days later they would ring us back saying the vendor was worried as they had received no reply and yet THEY had not passed on the message. Also, they had been trying and trying (apparently) to contact the buyer's estate agents to ask necessary questions and could never get through, I tried the same today, spoke to them and the matter was resolved!? Many a time it seems like the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing, because somebody was off on holidays and hadn't relayed the message. All in all we found them utterly useless and if it wasn't for the fact that we were so far down the road, we would have changed. Our advice is to steer clear, you have been warned!!!

Tom and Caitlyn were exceptionally excellent with their service. Tom did the viewing with me and he was so patient for me to look around. Caitlyn followed up with updating me with every necessary details I needed to know. They both had such warm service that I didn’t use think twice before giving them a call for my queries.
