Our experience with Philip Wooller was genuinely second to none. Having dealt with several agents in the area, they stood out as by far the most authentic firm. At no point did it feel like games were being played, which made a huge difference in what can otherwise be a stressful process.
The level of expertise, advice, and guidance we received from Robyn, Susannah, and the wider team was exceptional. We were really hoping it would be Philip Wooller who ultimately found us our home, and we were absolutely delighted when that turned out to be the case.
While you cannot control which property you end up falling in love with, I hope anyone reading this is as lucky as we were. They made the entire process feel smooth, transparent, and fair. My nephew Nick was renting through Phillip Wooller. He died in tragic circumstances in May. His contract was until the end of June. His family are trying to recover his deposit . Phillip Wooller say he had just signed a new contract which was due to start in two months. So they have not yet agreed to return the deposit even though Nick has died. No compassion (and we are checking if that is legal when someone dies. )We are still waiting a response ,and will update this review dependant on the outcome.

In December we successfully completed our house sale with Phillip Wooller and I would like to recommend them to anyone considering selling or letting their property - more than that, I would urge anyone to go to Phillip Wooller and talk to them. They not only secured fantastic buyers for our property at the asking price, in a tough market, but they handled every step of the process brilliantly with a light touch. They were extremely professional and their experience and knowledge of the local area has been built up over many years and it really shows. Rather than being a stressful experience the whole process was good and we felt that every step of the way they had our best interests at the forefront. I also know of a number of other friends who have had a similar experience with Phillip Wooller which was another reason we went with them in the first place. Being a small agents I really felt we had the personal care at every step and at no point did we ever feel like just another property on the books. Finally, their website and the way they presented the property was excellent. Fantastic.

I'm a big fan of independent businesses rather than the faceless chains that clutter our high streets, so was delighted when Philip set up shop on the Askew Rd nearly 10 years ago. On the two occasions I've used Philip and his team (Jen and Robyn), I've found them helpful, knowledgeable and supportive without being pushy or impatient. Made the big mistake to try sell a house with them, wasted time and money.
Non-existent and amateur service, poor management of sell process, zero checks on the buyer, etc, etc....avoid them at all costs!
Any other estate agent in the area (finley brewer, douglas &Gordon) can deliver a better job.
