He is an exceptionally committed and professional broker, as well as a warm and genuinely friendly person. He has always found us the best deals and kept us fully informed about all the available options, explaining everything clearly and patiently. We are extremely happy with his service and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable mortgage broker.

26th Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)I'm posting this review here as Winkworth is trying to take my truthful review down on TrustPilot. I have hundreds of screenshots willing to prove the terrible service I received as a tenant and to prove all the harassment as they would incessantly email from multiple people from the same office. I wouldn't be posting yet another complaint if they didn't report my review for a second time, but they've forced my hand. They serve section 21 eviction notices left and right before it is entirely legal (based on the timeframe, they do it pre emptively to the 2 month threashhold, and did so in my case). They tried entering my property without giving 24 hour notice multiple times outside the 2 month allowance timeframe. It took the team 4.5 months to return my entire deposit. I had to contact TDS and even go through legal avenues in order to receive my undisputed deposit. A shoutout to the terrible Bradley Whitehead, Sibel Camci and last but certainly least as in she is the bane of the Shepherd's Bush rental market, the lazy & entitled Daisie Lander. These three are chancers at best, reaping profits off of rentals that aren't legally fit to be rented and keeping deposits to record profits. They also "heavy suggest" that tenants use only one cleaner they refer us. The fear of losing more of our deposit is real and something they regularly enforce from what I've seen. This is illegal to enforce in the UK and because of the vague way that they suggest us to use their recommended cleaner, people cannot place this forward as a formal complaint. That said, I can note that they only suggest one cleaner. This office uses every underhanded manner to torture their tenants and make upper class professionals feel like criminals who should feel so lucky to have a tenancy. I've heard multiple complaints about Daisie when finding my next rental and get why some people don't want women to work, they're all thinking of her in particular. Lazy, entitled, and constantly out of office, I can personally show all the times she was out of office when I sent her an email. Though that's just the beginning of this tale, from strange agents coming into my apartment without any warning and claiming they were "new" (high turnover I see), to receiving several emails everyday regarding rentals for 4-5 weeks straight after I received my section 21 eviction as a standard harassment tactic, this isn't the office you want to work with or be renting from.

1st May 2026 (9 weeks ago)Sold our property in W12. We were very pleased with David and the team. They worked very hard to promote our property in a difficult market and achieved what seemed a reasonable sale price. We particularly liked their calm, un-pushy approach, and how helpful David was with both our sale and ongoing purchase. Highly recommended.

Sometimes you meet someone who is genuinely kind, sincere, and refreshingly human in a way that is all too rare and Paul is exactly that. He has struck the perfect balance between professionalism and approachability, always checking in, accommodating short-notice visits so I could measure up, and consistently going above and beyond. His support throughout the process has meant a great deal. Buying our home through Paul has been an emotional journey, and he has handled it with real care and heart. 12th Jun 2026 (23 days ago)Our tenancy was years ago, but I came across some old correspondence and realised I should leave a warning for others.<br><br>Renting through Apple Estates was a nightmare.<br><br>Key issues included:<br><br>Being deliberately misled that a bathroom was ours when it belonged to the shop next door.<br>The shopkeeper letting strangers into our home daily to use the facilities, resulting in a complete loss of privacy and security.<br>The property being dangerously unsafe, including shutters that would lock us in without another fire exit.<br>Critical repairs being ignored for weeks.<br><br>Would very, very strongly advise against using this agency.<br><br>-<br><br>UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER:<br><br>The agency's reply below is entirely fabricated to deflect blame.<br><br>The toilet: We were absolutely NOT aware the toilet was shared, we were explicitly misled from the start.<br><br>"Difficult tenants": This is a completely unfounded accusation. We were respectful, paid everything on time, and looked after the place so well that we received our deposit back in full.<br><br>The tenancy: The conditions were so bad that one of my flatmates moved out early and (essentially paying double rent - for his share of this flat and his new flat).<br><br>Finally, I note that the agency has directed people to the 'testimonials' page on their own website as proof of their great service. I'll leave it to anyone reading this to decide who is more trustworthy: independent, verified Google reviews, or the self-selected praise a company chooses to publish about themselves.

Their knowledge of the local area, access to the market and advice are second to none. Robyn was hugely helpful, professional and knowledgeable through all stages of the sale and purchase, and Jen was absolutely lovely and so helpful in helping us rent a suitable property for the interim. If you are looking for a lovely home in Shepherds Bush, you need look no further.

23rd Jun 2026 (12 days ago)Extremely frustrating experience with Amelia Knibbs. Showed up on time in 32 degrees heat to find the viewing had been cancelled two hours ago. Apparently she had notified me via text despite every prior exchange being through WhatsApp and email and had the audacity to blame it on me for not seeing it. Absolutely ridiculous.
