Point Properties have been responsible for full management of my property from Autumn 2025. During this time my agent has been very supportive, delivering the service to a good standard which I very much appreciate. As an experienced landlord with an experience of working with a variety of estate agents, what I have found particularly useful and sets this agent and agency apart is their willingness to be flexible, supportive and approachable to ensure things get done and goals are achieved. Steps were taken to ensure 100% occupancy of the HMO within a couple of months. Where there was a need to change strategy to attract more tenants, the agent was proactive and their suggestion yielded the desired results. While it is still early days I have good reason to believe the positive experience will continue and hence will recommend Point Properties as they demonstrate a commitment to deliver.

Had a issue with a leak over the weekend. I was able to get hold of a member of staff during this time, who arranged for someone to come out and fix it. We even got reimbursed for the towels that were used to help stop the flow / clean up. The staff member I spoke to was friendly / helpful.

I am giving this feedback for the sake of some of the staff's professionalism. Collby, you are a star. So far I enjoyed my home until I made known my decision to evacuate the property. The staff through whom we got all paper works done before renting the property now turned to be a monster against the idea. He was sometimes rude in mail sending, unprofessional to not reapond to mail atimes. No wonder he couldn't even look at me in face when returning the keys not to even say Hello. However, Collby, a professional and selfless man even through his mail sending was so helpful and respectful. Shauna and Nicole were too good. All in all it wasn't that bad crossing your path as a tenant. Some staff just need to be educated on how to deal with customers in a tough situation. I have read all your reviews to find out this same staff of yours has given many people who gave low stars bad experience. I suggest He is talked to and given the necessary training in dealing with customers.

I made a viewing to see a commercial property last Monday, and was told we would have priority due to being the first viewing that week.
After looking over the property details after the viewing, we realised the advertised price was completely different to what we were told at the viewing. Flagged this up to the viewing agent (Arie), only to be ignored for 2 days.
Fast forward, Arie vaguely admitted that he had wrote the listing wrong by stating the property included all rent and service charges, which was not true.
Until the end of the week, we were met with ignored calls for an update on a property we wanted. It became obvious we were dealing with a wish wash agent who was avoiding us due to not wanting to have others in the company learn of his mistake that we flagged up.
To then receive an end of the day generic text message on Friday, (always end of the day text messages to stall the process) saying someone has put down a deposit without his prior knowledge, for a higher price, but to let him know our thoughts. (why would we need to let you know our thoughts if it has been secured with a deposit from someone else already?).
Unprofessional, lack of communication, and bogus lies through text message with a viewing agent who does not like to answer the phone to have a clear conversation.
The following Monday, told that it was actually the 'director' of the company who had taken a deposit off someone, after the director himself had a viewing the previous Friday, and the property is no longer available.
At this point, it was easier to go down to the office and speak with someone in person, Arie made sure to let us know that the director is unavailable due to being on holiday.
I never leave negative reviews but could not pretend this whole situation did not happen, as it has been bizarre. The company should be aware of how the people representing them conduct business. A lot of strange lies, lack of communication, time wasting and listings that are advertised completely incorrect.

Absolutely the WORST agent ever. I paid my rent each month for three years and got a summary saying that this was paid. When I moved out, I had the flat professionally cleaned and now they are saying I owe £400 in electricity, which is impossible and owe a month's rent....which is IMPOSSIBE too, as they sent me summaries of this paid. They won't give me my deposit back. SHOCKING PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

Where to begin.
My partner moved into her student house in July last year half way through the month,
Her housemates room, the bathroom, the kitchen has horendous water staining marks on the walls. The cause was the shower pipe that runs down the wall into a drain, the pipe was detached, they were I formed of the issue, they sent round a 'plumber' to fix it, the repair was insufficient, they just painted over the stains which came back because the original problem wasn't resolved. The shower then began to leak into the hallway, the 'plumber' failed to fix this too, they painted over the stains only for them to come back within a week.
When she moved in she requested the bed be removed so she could use her own, they skirted around this and then eventually ignored the reasonable request.
A plumbing contractor offere his services free of charge and all water issues were successfully repaired first time round.
Upon finishing university and her tenancy the agents are now trying to charge her an additional £180 calling it missed rent. She's laid the exact amounts asked of her by the agents semesterly as and when her loans came in, they're adimant there's an outstanding balance even though bank transactions state she's fully paid.
They're now saying the old case manager messed up setting up the payments and that they're not responsible for the error.
I've dealt with agentsike this before. They will try everything they can to keep students deposits while screwing over the people they're takes with aiding in living at the house.
They didn't do inventory for the last lot of Tennant's and when they trashed the house nothing could be proven, sure communication from Linda and Ivan both jokes at their job and don't care about providing a good service. All they want is the £££ and now the students deposits.
If I were a student looking to rent from this place I'd stay clear they will screw you over and try to STEAL your deposit.
When .y partner moved in half way through July the agent informed her that only half the rent for that month was required and the rest of the payments would be as normal fill rent prices. They've since back tracked on this and are attempting to fraudulently keep her deposit.
Stay away if you want to keep your money and sanity.
Update. As a contractor I've performed 2 sets of works for this estate agents. They owe me £185 and are refusing to pay up. I'll be proceeding with small claims soon

You're right I'm not one of your tenants, my partner was and she had given full consent for me to speak with you, from my communications with the landlord it's been proven that Linda lied repeatedly.
You're also correct that I'm not one of your contractors. I'm self employed I work for myself and not for a company, the reason the landlord called me in was because the cowboy contractors you repeatedly get in to do repairs didn't after repeated visits fix anything.
This was repaired and remains to be so to this day after the works that I performed.
According to the contract you have with the landlord point properties are responsible for ALL repairs and maintenance, so regardless of if it was you or the landlord your contract binds you to pay up. See you in court idiots

I haven't even moved into there property and still managed to be difficult.
I was meant to be moving into a property that i could no longer move into for various reasons, and upon explaining how it would be difficult to liase with the current tennants to sort out a replacement, PointProperties were just very unhelpful, the lady i dealt with throughout, was very unhelpful, and either didn't listen, understand or care that i couldn't do anymore about finding someone to take over the contract, and still told me todo more even though i was already doing everyting i pyscally could and she had asked me todo, i told her that i was waiting or the other housemates to let me know and arrange things and that it was down to them now to let me know who they wanted. Which I wasn't being told. This situation nearly went on for nearly a month and caused me so much more additional stress and anxiety. I had made a complaint about this and got a very genralised apology from PointProperties, however not the person i actually dealt with who caused all the stress and anxiety, i had requested an apology from said person, and i am still waiting nearly 3 weeks later for an apology.

Broke several laws and Ivan Wan was abusive over the phone but hilariously timid in person.
Property was (and is still) advertised as 2 bathrooms when there is only one, except for the 2 weeks where we had none as the support beams in the floor had almost completely rotted away. Deposit was not protected and took 35 days and a county court claim to get it back.
Never before dealt with such incompetent, fraudulent agents - if I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid at all costs.

Accommodation is absolutely terrible. From my room I can hear electrical noises and loud floor board noises from residents above. The doors have faulty locks which have caused me to be locked out from the apartment waiting 40 mins in the rain just to get in. A radiator in my flatmates room smells like rotten fish. If you want a peaceful time, do not book a room at Apartment 17, Berwick street.

Continously sent unproffesional and untrained handymen to fix a house that needed tearing down with water leaking through the ceilings and a gas leak. Gas and electric was swapped to pay as you go, even though we paid bills included we were expected to top it up ourselves then be reimbursed. Left us in the middle of winter with no gas or heat due to a dispute over their £6000 gas debt with the landlord. Completely takes advantage of students.

Awful landlords that are extremely rude, disrespectful and think you are below them. They will try and rip you off by not giving you your deposit back. This company do NOT put your deposit into an official deposit scheme as stated on their contract therefore breaching an official contract and breaking the law. Found this out myself after contacting said schemes. Students or anyone AVOID at all costs. Would give them 0 stars if I could.
