Very awful service, you can’t get them to fix a damage, they come up with excuses. And they keep repeating the same story when it’s time to release your bond.

Terrible service on everything. Poor to little communication and response when it comes to things breaking down or emergencies. If something breaks down in any of their units, don't expect a quick or prompt maintenance coming.
They don't have any emergency numbers in case something happens over weekends. They will leave you for the weekend without essentials. They will also tell you to fix problems on your own because they can't do something, which when it breaks further, they suddenly find themselves with the ability to do what's needed.
You will have to have everyone in the letting complain until they do the bare minimum to fulfill their end of the contracts.
In conclusion, DO NOT sign with Progression Property for any Letting especially Student Accommodations; One girl I know was left for a week or more with no internet! It doesn't help you'll likely get a different agent each time you call so there's no consistency in the ability they have to help.

I approached Progression Property to sell my house, and it was sold and I had moved out within 8 weeks. No messing about, just a supportive and professional service delivered by all. My initial contact was with Sean, who explained everything, including the fee structure, with clarity and the sale was progressed by Cath, who was an absolute star. I was nervous, I had lived in my house for a long time, so I wasn’t at all sure of a lot of the elements involved, but Cath kept me right and reassured me when it was needed. The office team were very welcoming too. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Would genuinely leave 0 stars if I could. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! These guys should not be allowed to manage a single property, let alone have an agency.
Being a landlord from over 300 miles away, the entire point of an agent is to ensure someone is actively managing your property on your behalf. But due to their lack of competent staff and led by an incompetent owner Peter, this is not what you can expect to receive from Progression Property.
Maintenance work when required would not be carried out, lies told about the duration of a new tenancy and only finding out when tenants were due to move out, constantly having to chase for updates on viewings, issues etc. Property was left vacant for a few months and they should have made me aware of my obligations to cover the council tax. This did not happen, and even when the council sent them letters reminding them, these were not forwarded on to me which meant the first time I heard about any of this was when a debt collection agency authorised by the council reached out to me regarding the outstanding debt. There were also on several occasions, random charges such as gas safety certificate within 4 months of each other and it was only when I was doing my end of year P&L that I realised the double charge. Management fees also increased randomly part way through my tenure with them, which when queried with them was deemed as an "accidental system error" - yeah right.
Shady company, shady staff, shady owner.

Would not recommend renting a property from here. First of all, the agent was half an hour late to my viewing after being told he would be "5 or 10 mins". After viewing the property, I went down into the office to pay a bond of £150 in cash. At the time, I was desperate for somewhere, so I just took it anyway. An hour later, I had the opportunity to live in a better property. While I understand that at that point I had already signed something to say I would take the property, you would think with it only being an hour, they would give it back in good faith. The excuse given was that it was "policy" and they had begun referencing that, which must have been a heavy hours' worth of work to cost £150. Really disappointing.

Dealt with my house sale and subqequent purchase which turned out to be far more difficult than it should have been. Kept everyone in the loop and put pressure where needed to ensure it didn't fall through and got it done keeping all on the chain happy. Serious doubts whether the sale was going to fall through due to circumstance so really appreciated and can't reccomend then enough! Fantastic service.

After having issues with a couple of other estate agents in the course of wishing to retire from being an active landlord, I went to progression (after someone recommended Craig and the team) just over 12 months ago where he sold the first swiftly and to realiable buyer (completed rapid) . My last 4 remaining properties have done the same way, priced right, sold quickly and professionally handled as I’ve sold one at a time. Shame I hadn’t come to them sooner.

The whole process was impeccable. I had a discussion with Craig who went through my criteria in far greater depth than anyone else had as there is a general feeling at times agents want to chase you out the door as are too busy to chat. within 14 days of a my initial discussion, and a few properties offered that weren't quite suitable for me I was offered one that was perfect that I bought. Great after service from Cath too. much appreciated. cannot recommend enough based on my experience.

The staff were really rude, especially Amanda. There's always a 50-50 chance to get a property to rent, which we totally get. But that doesn't give them the right to shout at someone and be extremely rude. They could have just said, "I'm sorry, you don't fit our preferences," even if it's not mentioned in the property advertisement.
